installation of iOS 9.2.1 twice?

iOS successfully (I thought) installed on my phone when it first came out (iPhone 6).

When I connected to iTunes (v12.3.2.35) today, he said that iOS 9.2.1 was not installed and reinstalled on the phone.

I checked the phone and in settings/general/software update before installing again via iTunes; the phone said it was running iOS 9.2.1 and the software is up-to-date. The same looks the same before and after the re-installation 9.2.1.

Did anyone having similar problems or aware of all the problems that would cause such a result?

Hi PlaceboEfct

Apple released a second version of the iOS 9.2.1 (different version number) to solve the problem of error 53 .

It is available only via an update to iTunes that's why you didn't see him until you connected.

  • installation of iOS 9.1.2

My ipad mini has a 29 GB of storage. I downloaded the iOS 9.1.2 but I can't install it. The last update iOS I had was iOS 6. I got about 3.5 GB of free space.

If your iPad Mini is a 32 GB model.  The problem is that you have only about 10% of the total free storage of your device.  This is not enough.

If you need to use iTunes on your computer to download and install iOS 9.2.1 (current version).  Make sure that your iTunes is up to date as well - the current version is 12.3.2.

And you should definitely free up more storage on your iPad.  Once you get 9 installed iOS, check the settings > General > storage & use iCloud.

How to get code to install iOS 9.2 in mini 4 Please advise

The only pass on any iDevice Apple codes are those that you put in place.  Install iOS itself requires no code access to all.

Where or how do you be prompted to enter an access code?  Whatever it is, it will be one that you set up.

  • iPhone stuck in DFU and PC mode does not recognize device after installation of iOS 9.3.2 failure

So today, I decided to upgrade my firmware to the latest 9.3.2 via iTunes 9.2. Everything was fine. Both PC and iTunes recognized my phone and the upgrade process was fine, until suddenly I'm met by a mistake to say that the update failed, which was then followed by an immediate blue screen of death, with the error pointing to 'asmtxhci.sys', the XHCI Host Controller Driver of ASMedia Technology Inc.. My phone is then stuck in DFU, and my PC mode and iTunes refuses to recognize my device. I checked Device Manager and noticed this strange spectacle:

It lists somehow my camera as two separate. I tried to install the drivers manually from "C:\Program Files\Common Apple Mobile Device Support\Drivers". I managed to install the drivers for the DFU mode (but he didn't) I met for the first device, but when I tried for the second device by mistake 10 "device could not start" or something like that.

I don't know how to proceed from here. I tried so many stuff, read so many other messages, but I have not seen anyone with my problems, that's why I went here. I'm half - panic right now...

This sounds like a rather nasty problem - maybe a conflict with ASMedia USB and Apple Mobile Device Driver.  If you do a Google search on "asmtxhci.sys" you may reports of this cause the blue screen of death (BSOD).  There are a few patches recommended, but I'm not going to suggest anything as I'm not familiar with any of them and they could cause various other problems (even worse).  Good luck!!!

Greetings, Installation of iOS 9.3 to my iPhone 4S (model MD234X/A with iOS 9.2.1 (13D15)) fails when checking with the message "...". iOS 9.3 failure of verification because you are no longer connected to the Internet"even if the phone is connected. as I can browse with Safari ok. Hi Bloggsj,

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple.

I see that you get an installation error when installing iOS 9.3 OTA.  I suggest that you try following the steps below to download the latest version of the update:

If you have downloaded iOS 9.3, but you can not install it, you will need to download the update again. First of all, remove the update of your device:

    1. Go to settings > general > storage & use of iCloud. Under storage, click on storage management.
    2. Find iOS 9.3 in the list of applications.
    3. Press on iOS 9.3, then remove the update.

Now you can go to settings > general > software update and download the latest iOS update.

If you can't put day to iOS 9.3 on your iPhone 5s or earlier, iPad Air or an earlier version, or iPod touch

    Take care.

  • The use of the battery has increased since the update to ios 10. Also, why can not disable the voice command. It's the most boring on the new update.

The use of the battery has increased since the update to ios 10. Also, why can not disable the voice command. It's the most boring on the new update.

Depending on what you mean by "voice command", either:

Settings / general / accessibility / VoiceOver / OFF, or

    Settings / Siri / OFF

As for your use of the battery, you can check what app pulls most of its use in the settings / battery.  A new version of the app is sometimes problematic, not necessarily iOS or iPhone.  If you see a unusual % of use of a particular application, or force-to leave it removal/reinstalling it or remove it until an update comes.  If anything seems unusual, it might be a problematic installation of iOS, in which case, you could backup your iPhone and restore it:

  • Apple TV not showing in remote applications on iOS 10.0.2

Since the installation of iOS 10.0.2, none of my two Apple TV are appearing in the Remote app on my iPhone 6s or my iPad Air. Troubleshooting, I also downloaded the Apple TV Remote app, but they are not listed when I hit «Add Apple TV»

I checked they are all on the same network and connected with my Apple ID I also tried to disable the home sharing on the Remote App and turing back on. None of this solves the problem.

I can see the two Apple TV listed in AirPlay on my iPhone... so I'm puzzled as to why they are not displayed in one of the remote controls.

My Apple TV is model A1469 with software 7.2.1 version (8011).

    Any suggestions?

  • Cannot install iOS 10

I can't install iOS on my iPhone 10 6. Whenever I try to do wireless it just says: "there was a problem while installation of ios 10» It does say what the problem itself. And when I try to do this through itunes, it says only: to connect my iPhone with a USB key even if it is already connected, I tried with two different cords, and none of them does my phone appear.

On your PC, uninstall iTunes and Apple Mobile Device Support to uninstall. You must uninstall both and reinstall iTunes, plug in your phone and update.

  • Why iOS 10 requires a GB of 2.31 on iTunes download and live only 1.1 GB for iPhone?

    Hello eveyone,

Does anyone know why the download for iOS 10 via iTunes takes a 2.31 GB download all live only 1.1 GB?

    Thanks in advance

OTA updates are specific to the device and don't understand what is needed for the device being updated in order to minimize the amount of free storage, an iDevice must have to update. iTunes always download the full installer universal iOS given that the download is saved, not compressed and run from the computer, not in the storage of the iDevice.

I see that you have just upgraded to iOS 10, and now you can't Google calendar to sync. Wouldn't that happen, especially if it worked very well in an earlier version of iOS. I'm happy to help you find the best resolution.
