  After loading the program, I went to the properties.  To get there is to right click on the Quickbooks icon and click "properties at the bottom   There is a Compatibility tab, with a block for "Compatibility Mode", with a checkbox only when you select it activates a drop down menu with various program modes, in that you can run.  I chose Windows XP (Service Pack 3).

  However, you may want to follow these steps.

  1. right click on your quickbooks start exe file and open properties.

  2. on the Compatibility tab, select the compatibility mode and run this program in compatibility mode for Windows using the following link: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Make-older-programs-run-in-this-version-of-Windows (only if she worked very well with former Windows operating system)

  I have successfully thinapped quickbooks pro 2014 and has been using msi managed console view thinapps Horizon (Thinapps V5, see Version 5.2, windows 7) everything works fine until I have try connect than QuickBooks update R4 and R5. If I try to run the update from quickbooks seems to download and update some of the areas, but you will need to close QB and restart. At this point, it tells you there a wait of up to date and gives you the opportunity to install it. If I click on install it starts the process and quickly fails with an error 1601. If I download the patch manually file and run that I see the QuickBooks webinstaller decompress several files, then try to update it fails then saying there is no installed quickbooks.

  I am returned to the machine master install, recreated QB thinapp package, that manually installed on the test computer, two updates still stranded. I then tried two methods of update (automatic and manual) on the master machine to the point just after the capture of the post office, and in both cases, it worked.

  Someone else has managed to update the QB 2014 while thinapped and if so, how would you please?

  My Early 2008 Mac Pro (3,1) currently has 6 GB of RAM (two 1 GB sticks) and two sticks of 2 GB and I bought a pair of used ram (800 MHz DDR2, who works with the Mac Pro 2008 according to the announcement on Ebay) to take up to 8 GB. I have a Kingston 2 GB key and a broken stick of the same type to complete the configuration. I followed the instructions on the Apple support page and inserted the two sticks of working and broken in the memory card top of the page, and when I turned on the machine, it is detected that the map background (which had the pair of 2GB that was already in the machine) about this Mac. After the reinstallation of the new RAM, the fans in the machine began to turn to the maximum, and the machine hung on the Apple logo.
