Installation of SOA Suite 11 g - creation of schemas

Hello

I installed the Weblogic 10.3.1 server. Downloaded Oracle SOA Suite 11g.

In the installation guide it says that patterns of the repository must be created first before installing the OFM.

I have two questions.

1. He has provided in the installtion guide "http://www.oracle.com/technology/" link to download rcu.bat. But I do not see this download at this link.
Could you please tell me where I can get this rcu.bat file?

2. I have Oracle 10 g daabase installed on my system (Vista). Is it necessary to install 11g for 11g SOA Suite installation?
It has no benefit for BCI if I update to Database 11g?

Thank you
Suckers.

Suckers,
Suite 11g SOA is certified with Database 10 g (10.2.0.4 and more for EE, SE) and XE 10.2.0.1

where EA - Enterprise Edition
SE - Standard edition
XE - Express Edition

You can check SOA g 11 steps of the installation here

  • Installation of SOA Suite 11g

    Hello

I am an oracle applications developer and want to learn how SOA. I would like to install SOA suite 11 g on my computer laptop windows 7, but I read an article on apps2fusion.com, saying it would slow down terribly and may even corrupt Windows operating system files.

Is that true and if so, how install it safely without any mess. This could be a basis of SB, but I couldn't find a good online documentation. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

I wouldn't worry about installing corrupt Windows operating system files.  However, it will definitely slow down your PC.  If you are looking for a facility that won't affect your ability to use Windows, I download Oracle virtual box install an OS in VirtualBox and then install SOA Suite in the VirtualBox.  This will allow you to 'fork' more soa and all of its components still active as the database, when you do not need.

Once you have downloaded virtualBox, install your operating system preferred in it.  If you are using Windows 7 and you want it to be the OS used inside VirtualBox, you will need a special touch to it.  However, there are a multitude of free Linux variant. My favorite is CentOS.

Once you have installed an operating system in VB Oracle, so go ahead and download the appropriate files to install SOA Suite.  Please note that SOA suite installation locally requires the installation of Weblogic, a local database Oracle (the database single user works fine), as well as the installation of the entire suite SOA. In addition, you'll also probably want to download and install SOAPUi which is a great tool to test service endpoints.

To get all this to work properly, you will need a lot of RAM.  Currently, my Toolbox (running on Windows 7 Pro, not in VB Oracle) can use (including the total operating system) up to 5.5 GB.  For the above configuration, I would suggest that this amount is available for your VirtualBox and more whatever your OS needs on the host system.

Alternatively, if you install the largest components (Weblogic and the database) on a server, you can simply use in your tests.

Please let me know if that helps.

    Hello
check for spaces or a character that could happen even if you specify the location of the JRE, you can also call runInstaller with
i.e; have - jreLoc, the path in the cmd.

    . / runInstaller - jreLoc /root/Oracle/Middleware/jdk160_14_R27.6.5-32

    that should work.

    Hi friends,

I'm ready to install the 11.1.1.5.0 on soa with OSB in my windows 7 (64-bit) operating system. I assume that the procedure of installation is following as database (OracleXEUniv) > > RCU (repository creation Utility 11.1.1.5.0) > > wls1035_generic > > SOA Suite 11.1.1.5.0 part 1 of 2 & part 2 of SOA Suite 2 11.1.1.5.0 > > ofm_osb_generic_11.1.1.5.0_disk1_1of1 (1) > > creation of the field.

Can anyone please let me know the procedure in which order I need to install the 11.1.1.5.0 version on the windows 7 (64-bit) operating system.

I noticed that we don't have any Utility (RCU) creation of repository for the 64-bit operating system. can you please let me know, is the utility of creating the repository 11.1.1.5.0 for (32 bit) is applicable for the 64-bit operating system?

    Thank you

  • Installation guide for BPM SOA Suite and Oracle 11g

Does anyone know of a good installation guide for a new installation of the following SOA and BPM of Oracle 11 g (Windows 64 bit)?

I'm looking to the 'Setup Guide quick for Oracle SOA Suite and Oracle Business Process Management Suite 11 g Release 1"(http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E14571_01/install.1111/e14318.pdf), but it is a bit dated (April 2010) and I see that is missing a few steps.

    Thank you

Take a look at the for Oracle SOA Suite 11 g 1 material (http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/soasuite/overview/quickstartguidesoasuite11gr1ps3-313245.pdf) Quick Start Guide.

The steps that do not appear in the document you mentioned are included in this document. It takes you through the necessary extra step for the installation of Oracle BPM. Although for 11.1.1.4, it works very well for implementing 11.1.15 in a DEV environment.

  • Is "Repository creation utility" a mandatory for SOA Suite

    Hi all

I am new to Oracle 11g Weblogic application server. I worked on the Oracle 10 g application server. I am very interested to BPEL and planning to learn BPEL and SOA concepts in.

I have 11.1.1.0.1 Jdeveloper, Oracle Weblogic server 10.3.2, database Oracle 10.2.0.3 for windows vista installed on my laptop.

Now, I downloaded SOA Suite 11.1.1.2.0 and JDeveloper SOA Composite editor. But in the list of additional software required for SOA Suite, we need to * "repository creation utility."

Can someone give me the link for documentation of what is it and why is it necessary?

I worked in BPEL in Oracle 10 g and there was no such additional deposit creation utility. I'm quite novice in this technology and planning only to learn that basic concepts of the BPEL (Basic is very widespread word here. I mean using adapters, working with the web services BPEL etc.).

For this kind of basics and running SOA Suite is the repository creation utility, a mandatory requirement?
If so, can I install utility of creating repository with my version of the database of * 10.2.0.3 * (because I read that the repository creation utility works with 10.2.0.4 or higher)?
If not, how can I get the Group of hotfixes to upgrade my 10.2.0.4 Database 10.2.0.3.

    Thank you and best regards,
    Pavan.

1--> Yes, it is mandatory to run 'Remote control' to install/upgrade using FMW/SOA Suite 11 g.
2--> you don't need to install the regional coordination unit, it can be downloaded in zip file, and once you unpack this last, it can be run directly.
3--> "What it is"--> to a higher level, that it's a bunch of scripts required to create storage space related to the SOA/BPEL processes. As you know that BPEL process are with States of the process and their States, etc. must be stored in a database.
4--> even in Oracle 10g, there used repository, but it got installed by default and the tables created in the database of default olite.

  • Difference between SOA Suite 64 Bit and SOA Suite 32 Bit

    Hello

I'm new to SOA. I want to install SOA Suite 64 Bit on my laptop with 64-bit system and a window 8 64-bit.

I'm curious to know what what is the difference between SOA Suite 64 Bit and SOA Suite 32 Bit.

There are various facilities available for the 64-bit and 32-bit?

    Or

The facilities are same for 64-bit and 32-bit, but it's only depends on whether the JDK is 64-bit or 32-bit.

    Thank you

    Prashant jegou

    Hi Prashant, there.

If you use the JDK that is bundled with WLS, I think that you have installed 32 - bit.

The best way to check is to run java-version on the prompt of the JDK that helps run the suite servers SOA. Another approach is to examine the server log and files where the start is unloaded and you should be able to see the seller of the JVM and architecture.

To install WLS 64-bit, you must use the generic installation program (.jar) which requires a JDK 64 - bit pre-installed. And then on top, with installation of SOA.

I never tried to SOA on 32-bit and I think that it is not stable at all due to the limited segment size you can allocate for the JVM.

    Hope this helps,

    Anatoli

The problem is I want to do some POC for healthcare scenarios, as I currently work in a basic health project.

If you want to work on a CEP then please use Oracle SOA 11.1.1.6 for the integration of health care. It is not recommended to use the PS4 (11.1.1.5).

For PS5 (11.1.1.6), instructions are here-
