Hi all

There the SOA for EBS database?

Thank you very much

JC

Hello

Please review the below notes complete which gives an understanding of how EBS has a SOA. 11i and R12.0 and R12.1, EBS is integrated into SOA SOA gateway where as of R12.2, EBS needs to be integrated with a stand-alone SOA Suite.

Installation of Oracle eBusiness Suite integrated SOA Gateway, exit 12 (Doc ID 556540.1)

Integration of Oracle eBusiness Suite 12.2 with BPEL in SOA Suite 11 g (Doc ID 1584883.1)

  • Is "Repository creation utility" a mandatory for SOA Suite

    Hi all

I am new to Oracle 11g Weblogic application server. I worked on the Oracle 10 g application server. I am very interested to BPEL and planning to learn BPEL and SOA concepts in.

I have 11.1.1.0.1 Jdeveloper, Oracle Weblogic server 10.3.2, database Oracle 10.2.0.3 for windows vista installed on my laptop.

Now, I downloaded SOA Suite 11.1.1.2.0 and JDeveloper SOA Composite editor. But in the list of additional software required for SOA Suite, we need to * "repository creation utility."

Can someone give me the link for documentation of what is it and why is it necessary?

I worked in BPEL in Oracle 10 g and there was no such additional deposit creation utility. I'm quite novice in this technology and planning only to learn that basic concepts of the BPEL (Basic is very widespread word here. I mean using adapters, working with the web services BPEL etc.).

For this kind of basics and running SOA Suite is the repository creation utility, a mandatory requirement?
If so, can I install utility of creating repository with my version of the database of * 10.2.0.3 * (because I read that the repository creation utility works with 10.2.0.4 or higher)?
If not, how can I get the Group of hotfixes to upgrade my 10.2.0.4 Database 10.2.0.3.

    Thank you and best regards,
    Pavan.

1--> Yes, it is mandatory to run 'Remote control' to install/upgrade using FMW/SOA Suite 11 g.
2--> you don't need to install the regional coordination unit, it can be downloaded in zip file, and once you unpack this last, it can be run directly.
3--> "What it is"--> to a higher level, that it's a bunch of scripts required to create storage space related to the SOA/BPEL processes. As you know that BPEL process are with States of the process and their States, etc. must be stored in a database.
4--> even in Oracle 10g, there used repository, but it got installed by default and the tables created in the database of default olite.

  • Can I use the same Weblogic Server for soa suite 11 g and OSB panels?

    Hi all

Is it possible to use the same server weblogic for SOA suite 11 and OSB?

    Hi Arun,

SOA 11 g is running on weblogic version 10.3.2 OSB is running on weblogic 10.3, so you can't have two SOA suite 11 g and the OSB on weblogic even (not EVEN in the two areas of same weblogic). You must have two facilities of weblogic. (at this time)

After the next release of OSB (planned for H2), you can run both the same weblogic.

  • Size of RAM required for Soa Suite 11 g in the development environment?

    Hi all

I have a question about the optimal size of RAM required for soa suite suite 11 g in the development environment. I can see the facility of documents which

    Logic of Web-> 2 GB
SOA Suite(soa server and BAM server on web logic) - > 2 GB
    Developer of J-> 1 GB

A total of 5 GB, since we are new to 11g we're not sure, cannot therefore anyone who uses the comment 11g on the optimal RAM necessary for execution of soa suite 11 g with the developer of J.

    Thank you

Try to have a separate for the SOA Suite, for example the server machine. Then use JDev developer machines.

It really comes down to how much load you put on your environment. I would recommend 4 GB but I ran fine with only 2 GB. The question of having JDev on the same machine is that JDev can very very hungry memory and can / will affect developer experience.

    see you soon

  • SOA Management Pack more in OEM Gridd 10.2.0.5 for Soa Suite 11g

    Howdy,
I'm trying to figure out if SOA Management Pack Plus in OEM Gridd 10.2.0.5 provides a view into BPEL Process Manager in SOA 11 g.

I have this working against a SOA Suite 10.1.3.4 Environment Management Pack run on Oracle Application Server. In this configuration, I configured Gridd OEM to discover BPEL PROCESS MANAGER. With this work, I can enter different details on BPEL processes such as status, configuration and performance.

Now I have a new environment - WebLogic Suite with SOA 11 g in there. I discovered in OEM Gridd WebLogic Server. However, I'm not able to discover the BPEL Process Manager. I'm starting to think the process that worked for SOA 10 g does not apply in SOA 11 g and there is not a coorisponding hook in the SOA 11 g of Gridd OEM BPEL process.

If none of this makes sense and you have some information about this so I had to appricate it.

I think that you want to monitor SOA Suite 11 g running on WebLogic.
SOA suite 11 g is not certified with 10205.

SOA suite 11 g BPEL PM part of SOA-INFRA which is a unified runtime platform
for BPEL/mediator/rules etc. Also the BPEL process is packaged in SOA Composites that are consistent
    with architecture of the SCA

  • License for SOA Suite 11 g includes the application server

I'm searching through the information about the version 11 g SOA and it does not include a license to the WebLogic Server. Can anyone confirm that I need to allow the appropriate WebLogic 11 g of basis to perform SOA Suite 11 g on separately. I wish I could find a definitive statement about this on the website of Oracle or in the documentation.

I really disagree with you be here.

There are two ways to buy SOA Suite according to http://www.oracle.com/corporate/pricing/technology-price-list.pdf

A case for non-oracle middleware (essentially Websphere or JBoss now since weblogic's oracle)

One option for the Weblogic Suite. You can't buy SOA Suite standalone, you must buy it with Weblogic Suite.

Finally, what you say is not necessarily true about the upgrade. Yes, updates are normally included in the support budget, but more current owners of SOA Suite purchased by the Internet Application Server EE (OC4J). Running to 11g on OC4J is not an option, then they will have to migrate licenses of Weblogic Suite, which are more expensive. If you have purchased SOA 10 g recently with Weblogic Suite, you can freely move to 11g.

    Hello
I am wonderning if I could run more Soa oracle on a 2 GB RAM system,.
Since I discovered this palteform, I want to work on it to replace the use of webmethods.

    all your said are welcome!

I've used SOA 11 g on a system of 2 GB of RAM, but I recommend having at least 3 GB of RAM for the best experience. Ensure that--

1 database is not installed on the SAME machine or use Oracle database XE
2 use the template of developers to create the domain (single server except for BAM configuration)

  • Version of JDeveloper for SOA

Should what version of JDeveloper I install for SOA suite.

Here are our Versions of Oracle:
    --------------------------------------------
    RDBMS: 11.2.0.1.0
    Oracle Applications: 12.1.3

    Hello
1 JDeveloper version must match the Version of SOA that you plan to use. I guess the 2 versions that you have given are for the database Oracle and Oracle EBS Suite. Am I wrong? Now, this has nothing to do with JDeveloper and SOA.

    2. If you start from scratch, start with the latest version of this provision. The latest version is 11.1.1.6. This means that you install JDeveloper 11.1.1.6. Don't forget that JDeveloper is just an IDE for developing applications. To deploy and test, you now have a domain SOA/BPM. To do this, you must download and install WLS 10.3.6 + SOA Suite on top of the WLS 11.1.1.6. And you need the remote to create patterns for SOA/BPM. The link below will give you an idea. At the bottom, click on required components and the recommended installation process. Which gives links to all the other stuff.

  • Oracle SOA Suite of integration of health care against Oracle B2B

What is the difference between integration of healthcare for SOA Suite vs Oracle B2B?

When we were able to implement the Protocol HL7 in B2B himself, then why do we need health care? What are the benefits of the integration of health care?

For a company that needs a time HL7 and EDI implementation, Oracle B2B should solve? Can achieve us EDI transactions in health care? If so how do we do that? Please advise...

    Thank you-

Oracle B2B is used for internet based B2B (including HL7) communication while Oracle SOA Suite for integration of health care is to santee intranet communication. You can say that Oracle SOA Suite (middleware) has been extended to support Messaging native HL7 within a company through the integration of health care.

  • SOA Suite 11 g on Oracle Application Server 10g

    Hello

I was wondering if anyone knows if this is possible or supported to run SOA Suite on Oracle Application Server 10 g R3?

I couldn't find specific details on the application servers supported for SOA Suite 11 g. The only information I found is to license non - Oracle Application Server and some Oracle advertising indicating details:

"To ensure that customers extract the most value from their existing COMPUTING investments, Oracle SOA Suite 11 g is designed to take care of servers non-Oracle application, including IBM WebSphere, Oracle WebLogic Server, RedHat JBoss and Oracle."

Any information would be appreciated, thanks.

The latest version of SOA Suite 11g 11.1.1.4.0 (PS3) is certified on Oracle Weblogic Server and IBM WebSphere Server. Please refer here - related certification

    http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/IAS/downloads/fusion-certification-100350.html

Version 11.1.1.1.x to free 11.1.1.3.x take on Oracle Weblogic Server only.

OAS 10 g is not an application server supported for 11g Soa Suite.
