Installation of test Acrobat XI 110 (and/or 259) error code

Get this ("an error occurred during extraction of the files of the"Adobe Acrobat XI Pro Installer.pkg"package) after you have completely cleaned my system of all facilities from Adobe using the cleaning tool Adobe Creative Cloud... Also tried allowing the root user as I've seen suggested in other posts re: installation for Acrobat XI and so repaired permissions problems. Downloaded the DMG installation three times...
