  What version of Yahoo messenger you have installed? I would first uninstall your current Yahoo Messenger.
  For edition, go to the Control Panel, click programs and features. Scroll down and find Yahoo Messenger. Click it and then click on uninstall in the upper part. Make sure your Flash Player and Java are up-to-date.
  Then, install the latest version of Yahoo Messenger which is version 10.0.0.1264. Click onlink download Yahoo messenger here.
  Then check again and see if you are able to run Yahoo Messenger.

  My microphone and speakers are properly functional and connected to my computer. I can speak in my mic on Yahoo Messenger. The volume is set to 100 percent.  I can't pass the music on Yahoo using my own CD, Windows Media Player or Youtube.
