The eyedropper allows me to choose the shade colors, but if I fly over the part of the page I design, color changes correctly _temporarily_, moving, everything that I'm hovering above, BUT nothing happens when I click, and I can't do will change the color of the element to the color that the pipette was hovering above.
  
  I don't know if it's relevant, but the color I tried to address was that of a false "column, where a vertical sidebar color is actually a vertically tiled 'background image' set by CSS.

  I used Dreamweaver since MX, which is a number of years, and I regularly used the Eyedropper to grab colors from anywhere.

  Maybe what confused me, but not only, I switched from a PC to a Mac, I had a desktop to a MacBook Pro, so I use a trackpad instead of a mouse. Maybe the awkwardness (I'm still not used to it) drag on a trackpad, while holding the button (one and only, on a Mac) this key not 'feel' like what I had done before.

Always the same thing happens. I have download the installer, then will have to run two times, and then Windows authorization. and the downloader, it is, never download.   The problem is that HP stopped supporting this particular Windows XP device - in fact, in view of the date that the latest driver Windows XP is out (December 3, 2001), they have barely supported it under Windows XP.
   
  I'd say you're probably out of luck (time for a newer printer?) if their method to operate on Windows 7 64-bit on this web page is not printing of certain abilities. Basically, you plug it in, let it start to install the driver, choose to download from Windows Update for drivers more, choose the closest to you and go with it.
