  Recently I bought HP compaq 6000 Pro format microtour to used market. Today I bought the TP Link wireless network PCI card. I installed the drivers but it did not work. I noticed that I have not the PCI Simple Communications controller installed drivers. I searched on Google but could not find the drivers. So I decided to come here to ask.

  There is no download.  Unless you buy another copy of the HP Setup disk, you will need to borrow an install someone else's disc, and then use your product key during installation.

  Recently saved this PC of my friend tries to throw it. Everything is fine with the PC. It works perfectly and there is no material visible failure wihtin the PC either. He just bought a new and had no need for this one.

  Before turn me this into a House mutli-purpose server, I decided to upgrade the RAM.

  DDR3 240-pin DIMM 1333 MHz non - ECC, Max 4 GB per DIMM slot, Total Max 16 GB module.

  I decided to get 2x4gb and upgrade later if I felt the need.

  I was happy to install in the PC. one in DIMM 1 slot and the other in the DIMM 2 slot.

  BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP!

  I thought that maybe the slots are wrong, maybe they have to odd numbers then numbers.

  So I changed the RAM of DIMM 2 DIMM 3.

  Once again, the annoying ringtone.

  I even tried leaving just the 4 GB DIMM 1 and tried to start the PC, but nothing helped.

  I tried a lot of different combinations with the end result is 5 annoying beeps.

  After that I thought that maybe, just maybe, an update of the BIOS can change things.

  So I installed Windows 7 (I can't stand Windows. Arch Linux FTW) and performing a BIOS update.

  I then installed the new RAM again. Yes... frickin 5 beeps AGAIN.

  I am extremely disappointed at this point. I spent already $ 70 on a computer with free access.

  I read the forums here, but I couldn't find a thread with a solution for me.

  Is there anyone on this forum who could lend me a helping hand?

  Any information would be gladly appreciated.

  PS Please report any stupid error, I did. Stick and stones could not curb my bones.

• Hewlett - Packard HP Compaq 6000 Pro MT PC memory problems

  I have a few Hewlett-Packard Compaq 6000 Pro MT of the HP PC I want to make a memory upgarde. At the moment the memory installed on each of them is 2 GB Micron 8JTF25664AZ-1G4D1 - 2 GB DDR3 - 1333 DDR3 SDRAM (8-8-8-22 @ 609 MHz) (7-7-7-20 @ 533 MHz) (6-6-6-17 @ 457 MHz) (5-5-5-14 @ 380 MHz). I bought 2 different brands with the same specification that Corsair XMS3 4 GB 1x4Go memory SDRAM Desktop DDR3 1333 Mhz DIMM 240-pin CL9 and Kingston HyperX Blu 4 GB of RAM DDR3 1333 MHz DIMM 240 pin CL9 memory generic. When mounting this new memory I get the error message sound for faulty memory. Memory have been tested on the brand of the other computer and it works fine.

  Can someone tell me what I will do in this case? I updated the BIOS as well, but still no change.

  I not really much information but what I have found, here's a thread @Tom in the same direction as your ad material .  It shows the same symptoms as published at the end.  This person has used BLS2KIT4G3D1609DS1S00, which is the FOLLOWING.  Found on AMAZONandEWEGGN.  Also to MICROCENTER.

  Motherboards are picky when using RAM, so use what is known to work.

  I have a HP Compaq 6000 Pro SFF PC, I want to upgrade in a mini tower, is it possible with this PC? The reason is because I want to install a new GFX card and a cooling system for best performance, however, @ 240 PSU will be not reduced, especially not when I already 2 SATA drives.   If it isn't...

  Go to Device Manager and click on the multimedia audio controller requiring driver.

  Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.

  For the first unit, see if it works.

  This package contains the driver for the card reader JMicron for the notebook models and operating systems.

  File name: sp41703.exe

  Windows Update can have the driver for the second device.

  To install the driver for it, being connected to the internet... go to Device Manager and click on the device of ACPI\ITE8715 who need the pilot.

  Click the driver tab.  Click update driver and select Auto search.  Wait for windows to download the driver or reports there is no driver available.

  The driver you need is for the infrared transceiver of ITE.

  There are pages of driver for this device on the HP support site, but no download link to the driver.
