• Windows Installer update in the user Session

  I use a WSUS 3.0 Sp2 server and the WUA_SearchDownloadInstall.vbs tscript for install updates on Server 2003 X 64 SP2. Search and download works fine logged on as a user, but the installation fails unless I'm actuall 'connected' as a member of the Administrators group. I tried things like "RunAS" and "PSexec" by using the credentials of the directors, but it still does not install it.

  An excerpt from WindowsUpdate.log. It shows that istrying Windows Update to do something under my ID "HST25772\LOCALUSER" (my user), even if I started the script with PSExec (1.98) and used my administrator credentials. I'm relatively certain that this will cause the failure. If I do a full logon with the same ID Admin, installation works very well. Is there a way to perform the installation of WU part in session 'user' but use PSExec with the Admin ID? All thoughts of work around this would be appreciated.

  Solved my problem. Ran a command similar to the following to run my script "WUA_SearchDownloadInstall.vbs" "modified" under the system account:

  Updates seem to settle normally now.

  I tried to install the KB2856373 update and Windows Update has been fails with an error code of 80070026 each attempt.

  I perform an installation of Windows 8 x 64 (March 30, 2013).  I have run Windows Update repair tool to repair Windows Update components.  He found no other problems, and this has not solved the problem.  I downloaded the standalone update, rebooted my computer for a clean boot and tried to install it, it did not work.  I don't have any other anti-malware or anti-virus installed.  In addition, I ran system update tool with no luck.

  So, I think I have traced the origin of my problem:

  My main hard drive is a 120 GB SSD, as a result, I also have a traditional 1.5 TB hard drive installed.  In order to avoid the write cycles and free up space on my SSD, I used the symbolic links to redirect the C:\Users D:\Users.  This causes generally no problems because everything is redirected without problem.  However, in the case of this update, it must be C:\Users in C:\Users instead symbolically linked to D:\Users.
  I have no idea why this problem occurs, but I think at least determine the root cause can help people in the same situation as me and MS software engineers fix this with less of a headache I had.

  According to brother Tech Support, brother does not support scanning or PC to Fax printers MFC (connected Ethernet) network.  Here is a direct quote to support Brother on 24/11/12:

  «Currently we have everything planned out a complete set of MFL Pro Suite software (Control Center, send/receive PC - Fax, etc.).» Scan of the MFC
  on a network connection is not supported by the built-in support to
  Windows 8 operating system. "

  Uninstall Photoshop cc again.   [I know that it's the same thing once again]

  Go to C: > Program Files (x 86) > common files > Adobe.

  Open Adobe folder and rename under mentioned folders.

  (1) adobe PCD - Adobe PCD centenarians.

  (2) hats - caps-old.

  3-backup - backup-old.

  Then reinstall Photoshop CC and check.

  If this does not work, try once hidden Admin account.
