Installing CC on a new MacBook Pro
I have 5 Lightroom and Adobe CS5. Recently, I'm subscribed to Adobe CC.
Today, I bought a new MacBook Pro and want to install Adobe CC. I want to make sure I followed the instructions from Adobe to do this correctly.
Also, I still want to be able to use my CS5 & Lightroom 5 purchased version on the old computer.

My old Macbook Pro died this year, so I bought a new Macbook Pro without a hard drive.
To install CS 5.5, I tried to copy the contents of the drive in an external USB HDD via another computer.
When I try to start the installation, told me that 'the installer could not be initialized. Get Adobe Support Advisor to record the problem' (translated from Danish, then it may not correct).
However Adobe Support Advisor is discontinued, so I can't follow these instructions.
What would be the proper way to install it to a Macbook Pro without a hard drive?
Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

How can I download a program of items already purchased a new MacBook Pro? It doesn't have a CD player. I had it installed on my old mac and all transferred to my new on however when I try to open the items it says that I need to reinstall it.

Trying to install CS3 on my new MacBook Pro PS - do not accept valid serial number.
I am currently using CC on a new MacBook Pro (w/no DVD player), but I need to keep an older version of PS (CS3) to use with my scanner. Migrated software from the old computer again, and now when I try to open PS CS3, I wonder for the serial number. I entered correct number (from my account on the Adobe website), but it won't accept it. Went to the cat Adobe support and they sent me here. Help!

It's Adobe CS3 and I reinstall on a new Macbook Pro. I had a backup with Time Machine and I have restored my files to the new laptop. Of course due to conflicts of serial number I had to reinstall my software. The Macbook Pro is more established in the Super Drive so I downloaded the software out of the Adobe site. I uninstalled and tried to reinstall, but received a message on there is a problem and to contact customer support. I did, through their chat system and I was told that they couldn't help me because it was CS3.
After uninstall and restart several times I finally solved what was the error. I apologize for the lengthy response, but it wanted to be in a forum where someone like me goes looking for answers of self-handling. Thank you once again!

You are right that you should disable the software if you have already installed and enabled on both computers. Then, you will be able to put it on another computer. Depending on whether you purchased the software or use a subscription to creative cloud, here are the methods to use:

Hello! I've got CS3 Design Standard - real records and certificate of software license. It was installed on my laptop that crashed and could not be uninstalled. I have now installed it on my new MacBook Pro, but can't get it registered with the serial number. Is it because it has not been uninstalled on the previous laptop? What should I do now? THX!
Maybe this can help someone else... I had to simply properly uninstall CS3 and reinstall again after that. I think what he sort! I also remember having a similar problem with the Mac at work a couple of years back. Not sure if it is the same for CS5/CS6. Installation fails on new Macbook Pro
I'm trying to install CS3 on a new Macbook Pro 13 "with the Mavericks retina. All except properly installed Photoshop CS3 applications. Photoshop fails and when I try to run it returns a message that it cannot be initialized because the disk is not available. I tried to reinstall and the installation fails. I tried to launch the old copy of the disc of the previous computer (now in the USB box) and I get the same error message. I tried copying it on to the new HD without success. I tried phone support and they won't help because it's an older version. CS3 is supposed to be compatible with the Mavericks. Since the oldest copy and the new facility to return the same message, I suspect (just a guess), a software problem, perhaps prefs or other files copied over the old installation.
Can someone help me understand what it is and how to install PS successfully?

Have you tried to screw up your Photoshop Prefs? If you don't know, here is the way:
/Users/ [username] / Library/Preferences/Adobe Photoshop CS settings/Adobe Photoshop CS3 Prefs.psp (you can access this folder by pressing the 'Option' key by clicking on 'Go' in the Finder menu)
Once the trash, empty your Recycle Bin and reboot. Unless the installation is totally corrupt, Photoshop should start normally.
You can also set up another user account and see if you can run PS from there.

IWeb is always accessible from a new MacBook Pro that has is not iWeb installed?
I continued to maintain 2 websites iWeb upward and running for several years now without any problems. My MacBook Pro original recently deceased who was the one who had iWeb on it. Other my MacBook Pro (late 2011) still works but has not installed iWeb. I can still access my sites male changes/updates for them? I understand that it is probably time to rebuild these sites elsewhere but want to keep their course until this can be accomplished. Thanks for any info.
If you have a disk, you can use to install iWeb on new MacBook Pro, Yes.
If not and you have the files created by iWeb, Yes, but you will need to edit and upload them manually or with another product.
