Not able to install Management Agent on the server no - WHO, different platform
Hello
I run 12.2 of the WHO on a Linux platform and must make a 64-bit Windows Server a target managed by getting the installed Management Agent.
The Agent software for the server to Win 64-bit platform has been downloaded using the console auto update. However, I can't add the target host because it maintains have reported that I have selected a platform for which software Management Agent is not available on the WHO and I want to use the update auto etc.
So, after that I downloaded the agent software for Windows 64-bit at WHO, using the self updated fucntion, in the list of the software updates Agent, I see:
and when has highlighted in the past, activities list it shows shares"available"and then "Download", both with the status of successful operation.Downloaded | Microsoft Windows x64 (64-bit) | 12.1.0.2.0 | Oracle | Agent Software ...
So now, I'm going to: Setup - Add Target - add targets - manually add hosts
I add an entry, fill in the IP address and choice of platform (win 64-bit), but the platform name is added with * "Unavailable software Agent" * then recommend me again to download the software for this platform using auto update !
Just in case, I made a new connection in the OEM but which did not help.
Can anyone suggest me please an action plan to "fix" it?
Thank you very much!
EdHello
After downloading the software agent, do you have one apply?
If not, then pls do more...
Setup > extensibility > auto update > click agents
in "actions" drop-down menu, select apply.
You can always check the software available in your OMS agent using emcli.
Use this command to get the list of the avlbleemcli get_supported_platforms

I have a problem when installing the new version of Skype, whenever I have install and starts to say there is a problem to connect to the server, download Skype alternative, and when I do it here it again when I install, can someone help me with this problem of server?
What Setup you're trying to open?
The only what you have to do is copy the Skype.exe and Login.cab files and paste these files the installation of Skype folder or even any new folder on your computer.
If you extracted all the files from the SkypeSetup_6.18.0.106.msi file, then you should be able to find the Skype.exe and Login.cab files in:
\SourceDir\Program Files\Skype\Phone\

After that I downloaded my site on my server pages lost their format, the only page that seems correct is my index page.
That's how it should look like. (local file)
This is what it looks like on the (server)
Help, please
The point of Nancy does very well, is that from the server, the web page cannot find a file whose path begins by file:///C|/Users/tdavis/Documents/... because your C drive do not EXIST on THE SERVER.
You MUST correct these references in your code so that they actually point to the file in a relevant folder root path.
When you have not defined a site again, (as requested) DW will use an 'absolute' path to the file that includes the drive and the folder names in the path. Once the site is defined these must change to show only the location of the root folder, but this does not always happen. If you don't check and change these stray file path references before you put the files on the server, the Web page will not be able to reference what he should look and work properly.

Hi Lenn,
Your question of Windows 7 is more complex than what is generally answered in the Microsoft Answers forums. It is better suited for the IT Pro TechNet public. Please ask your question on the Windows Server. You can follow the link to your question:

Multiple Oracle homes on the same server (Oracle ACE and DB)
Hi all
OS: RHEL 4.7
Oracle Application Server: 10.1.3.1
Oracle database: 11.2.0.1.0
I was asked to install oracle 11g on a server that is already running Oracle Application Server 10.1.3.1
Due to the lack of space on the server sys admin gave me space under/usr, Installation went smooth and successful and complete location 11 g installed is "/ usr/11 GR 2/app/product/11 g.
Database is also created using DBCA with the location of the file ' / usr/11 GR 2/app / 11 g/oradata.
It is, I need to define the environment variable under the same 'oracle' user when it connects, should be able to log on by typing just sqlplus...
. Current user 'oracle' Bash_profile looks like this...
***********************************************************************
# Get the aliases and functions
If [~/.bashrc - f]; then
. ~/.bashrc
FI
# Specific programs startup and user environment
Path=/U01/Oracle/product/10.1.3.1/OracleAS_1/JDK/bin:$path:$Home/bin

export PATH = ${PATH}: ${ANT_HOME} / bin

How to identify a connection to the server installed as standard or replica?
For some reason, I need to know which of my connection four server has been installed as standard on the server and other installed as replica server, but I can't find how. Need advice, thanks!
It does not matter, the only difference between them is that they put in place a new ADAM instance or connected to one. After installation, they are exactly the same. If you really need to know (again, it is not really important), you can go \VMware VDM\ServerInstanceType HKLM\Software\VMware, Inc. (1 is the first CS, 2 replicas).

install oracle database before installing oracleAS?

Through the installation steps, I find that Repository metadata OracleAS will be created automatically in a database.
Installing OracleAS comes with the Oracle database? or do I have to install Oracle database before I install OracleAS Infrastructure components?
Please point me in the right direction.

If you install Oracle 11 g XE with active windows firewall APEX is dead
My first installation of Oracle 11g XE was carried out with the active windows firewall.
The database configuration was completed in bad condition because post install scripts did not stand because port 1521 has been locked.
You got the "Get Started" link did not stand ok and browser got an error page.
Allways install Oracle database with the non-active windows firewall.
You can read in the documentation, installation...
2.1.2 the Windows Firewall configuration
If you plan to install Oracle Database XE on a computer running the Windows Firewall, which was introduced in Windows XP Service Pack 2 and Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1, and then connect from another computer, verify that the firewall has not been configured to block all communication between the following inbound ports. These ports are the default ports that users Oracle Database XE.
1521: oracle database listener
2030: oracle Services for Microsoft Transaction Server
8080: Transaction oracle HTTP Server
but that apply to connect from another computer at your facility, not the installation process.
I think that the documentation must contain "disable windows firewall before you try to install.Allways install Oracle database with the non-active windows firewall.
Or add the listener and apex port numbers to the list of exceptions.
