  Was trying to read the volumes of documents in Oracle Universal Content Management - Oracle Application Server Documentation to understand how WebCenter content.

  In theory, you could achieve this, but not with WCC single.

  WCC provides the classification of an article (e.g. Security or security group classified in records management).

More precisely, they want to have in their lotus calendar Portal portlet, portlet messaging, lotus, lotus notes portlet, lotus sametime portlet... etc. I found an old documentation and examples of this kind of portlets developed by Oracle, but they do not work because some errors when they try to retrieve the configuration of Lotus.   Probably yes, but it really depends on what goals, your system must be used to.

  Just in case it is not obvious, I'll write a short comment to each of your points:

  Greater security - SSL - 3.8, the prevention of the man-in-the-middle sniff for content

  3.9 - external LDAP - for development, you can go with WebLogic server embedded LDAP, but it can also be convenient to use an external; especially if you take identities that are already defined in your organization

  3.10 - associated 3.9 (you need to set your users at least in one place, or all your developers will have to use the "weblogic" account)

  3.11 - SSO - for a stand-alone system possibly unnecessary, but should improve you in several systems (e.g. WebCenter portal content, or content WebCenter WebCenter + BPEL/BPM) it could could be convenient set SSO

  3.12 - WebTier - only if you want to use the features of some WebTier (e.g. Caching), or need to install the web server on a different HW as the server application (in general, behind the firewall)

  3.13 - incubators - only if you need it (perhaps not necessary for the dev TEAM, but some systems TEST should have if you too in PROD)

  3.14 - WS security - needed if the system will be accessible to other clients via WS, particularly if these clients are located behind a firewall

  2. go to the tab database, and then select the Oracle Thin driver

  3 leave the classpath field empty

  4. to connect to the db, provide the db details name of host name, port and service

  5. set the UCM schema user id and password and update

  6.

  These sql queries are running 2 on the diagram of the UCM DB:

  The script is quite simple. I have a check image file in my Oracle/Stellent Content Server and I want to just create a simple portal with a portlet that displays this image on my weblogic Portal Server.
  
  How can I do this? So far I have installed the CIS_Helper on my happy server and cis admin app on my Portal Server. I have configured the SCS adapter and when I ran the criterion which must communicate with the content server, the test was OK. Im a little lost right now... What should I do?

  My default temporary Tablespace, TEMP. DBF is currently sized at 6144 MB, used size is MB 6140 99,93% with full auto expand on.
  
  Automatically expand the data file when it is full (Auto expand) K 20480 bytes.
  
  Maximum size - K 8192 bytes. (-> Issue of State here <-)
  
  
  I think that most likely my ex-personnel clicked wrongly, "Ko." It should be "M bytes. However, I would like to know how is it possible that console OEM version 9.2.0.1.0 allows the maximum size (8192 K bytes) less than 6144 MB? Is this allowed? If Yes and left clear, what the impact will be on the TEMP tablespace?

  Hi all
  
  I managed to install SQL Server 2008 (64-bit) on my work server and created an Oracle in Database Management Studio Server and connected scripts it successfully. However, at the time where I had a 32-bit Client Oracle moment and trying to connect to Oracle through offers of I got an error of BadImageFormatException. I then realized that I needed a 64-bit client for my 64-bit Windows Server 2008 R2.
  
  Now, I downloaded the 64-bit client on my drive local and unzipped on the C drive of the server. However, when I click to start YES, I just get a message saying "preparing to launch Oracle Universal Installer...." »
  
  But nothing happens. Close the window MS-DOS, and that's all. Nothing. I thought that the file is a not unzip correctly so I unzipped a 32-bit client on the server and its momentum very well!
  
  Any ideas? Ideally, I want to just get Reporting SERVICES on Windows Server 64-bit, but I think without Oracle 64-bit Client this will prove fruitless.

  Which version of the client you are trying to install? I'd go with 11.2.0.2 to exclude known issues with the YES program.

  11202 is available on MOS. If you have no Oracle Support for access to MOS, 11201 is available in the section downloads on OTN.
