  Sorry to hear the driver of the Lenovo does not work for you. Maybe your sound card is SoundMax Integrated Digital HD Audio of the other T61s. You can try the driver specific to the type of Analog Devices AD1984 if you wish. But the video driver should work for X 3100 (GM965).

  BTW, I found when I ran downloaded file, it is decompressed in a subfolder under C:\drivers\, not C:\swtools. Others will allow to verify this?

• Vista SP1 x 64 SMBus Controller on a P5W DH Deluxe resource conflict

  I discovered there is a resource conflict issue reported through the Manager Windows (Vista SP1 x 64) devices.

  The message is of e/s series 0400 - 041F used by: resources from the motherboard.

  Anyone know how to resolve this conflict?

  P.S. I used a live CD of linux and I have no problem with the hardware, most all my drivers are up to date.

  Returns the motherboard to Asus, under warranty. Other issues discovered, defective RAiD, USB port... So, to conclude, it was a hardware failure.

  Hi I tried a few steps but unsuccessfully yet. HP support doesn't have a separate section for 8.1 x 86 drivers for the HP Elitebook 840 G1 model.

  Tried to install the driver Chipset section 8.1 Win x 64

  Tried to install the x 86 filerepository Win 7 chipset. This installs fine. But the touchpad doesn't work after that. You uninstall Bus SM Synaptics to get the touchpad working again.

  Looking for drivers for this any help would be appreciated

• Toshiba DVD player - player ODD do not watch movies, the disc is missing

  Download and install VLC media player (it's free) and test the functionality of optical disc drive.
  To be honest, I use VLC for years and this is, for me, the best player I tested in recent years.

  For some people that d is second partition on the disk and hard for some of them optical disc drive.
