Intel(r) HD Graphics Family does not not with Windows 10 (Acer Aspire E5-571)
So I tried to solve this problem for a long time, but I was unable to find an update for windows version 10 of the Intel® hd graphics family graphics or graphics card driver, I tried manually install the graphics driver files but could not solve this problem, but I don't think that I did it correctly so if any help is given , for me, could you suggest (good) drivers for me to download. Thank you a lot in return.
I guess you have Intel HD4400 graphics. The method driver and installation link above will work.
The method of manual installation replacing (the disk method) is located in screemshot below.

You can try to uninstall the previous display drivers and try to install Nvidia drivers manually and check.
Step 1:
Uninstall the drivers from programs and features (as applicable).
a. click on start
b. type appwiz.cpl in the start search
c. find the display driver package, right click and uninstall the package
Step 2:
Then, uninstall the drivers from Device Manager.
a. click on start
b. type devmgmt.msc in search
NOTE: Click on view the hidden devices on the view menu in device managers before you can see devices that are not connected to the computer.
c. then go to graphics cards and right-click on it and click on uninstall.

Graphics card does not support Windows Aero?
Hello world
today I received the message telling me (after that I played a few hours) that my pc has problems of performance due to the Aero and it offers me to activate Windows Basic.
I have this card (Nvidia GTX 750 Ti) for 2 months now and it never gave me problems so I'm wandering if it could be a hardware problem or just windows that ran a test on the graphics card all the 'X' days for the Aero compatibility.
I ran the fix tool and it said that my GPU is not compatible with Aero (never had problems of performance in games activities or other).
So I ask: is this a real problem? Can I ignore it and run Aero or it will cause physical problems in the future? Can it be a hardware failure or something similar?
Thank you.
The card should manage easily Aero and its effects. Go to this site where you can download and run the latest drivers...
http://www.nvidia.com/download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
The message should go away... :-)

Intel(r) HD Graphics Family Driver does not not for Aspire S7-392 in Windows 10
Hello
I have improved my Aspire S7 - 392 to Windows 10 a few weeks ago, and while most things seem to work properly, the driver for the graphics card Intel (R) HD Graphics Family had the yellow exclamation of 'something is wrong' next to him since. Now, I am unable to connect my laptop on the external monitor that I use for work (as nothing happens when I do), and graphics performance are visibly slowed (point of use) when playing games still fairly weak demand.
Which would seem to indicate that there is a pretty big problem with drivers. I spent literally 10 hours on the phone with Microsoft Client service tries to understand the question, but all they could tell me after a fairly intensive survey was that they knew not what it was and wait for updates from Acer or Intel driver.
I have the latest driver on the Acer support site installed (although it doesn't seem to be one specifically for Windows 10) and I rolled back and updated and tried several versions of the drivers from there, but all seem to have the same problem.
I also downloaded Windows 10 Intel drivers that are supposed to be specially for my processor and graphics configuration, but when I try to install, it says that my computer does not meet the requirements (which is quite confusing when I have the exact material, so that the driver is designed).
I searched these forums for support for other users of the S7 Aspire with similar problems and for people with features of Intel(r) HD Graphics Family have similar problems, but can't seem to find anything.
My apologies if this has actually been discussed elsewhere, but no help at all with this issue would be appreciated. Windows 10 has been out for a while now, so I was hoping that a solution had been found to do this, since there must be a certain S7 users out there.
Anyway, thanks in advance for any ideas/advice,.
Oli
1. download the "Intel Driver Update" utility
2. go manage the devices and uninstall/remove your Intel graphics driver
3. run the Intel driver update utility.
Your current graphics driver is a custom OEM Acer/Intel graphics driver. This is why it will not let you install. If the generic driver update utility that installs does not quite work right, then you go back to the driver that is located on the site of the Acers.
If don't want to use the Intel utility driver update, then you will need to download the zip file of the driver instead of the driver .exe... and then use the disk method 'have' to install it. It is probably easier to use only the update of the Intel driver utility.

Hi DevangS,
If you use GTA 4, which would actually be the problem. According to PC system requirements for GTA 4 it is only compatible with Windows Vista and Windows XP. Also, the game requires a minimum of a processor clocked at 1.8 GHz and your model has only 1.7 GHz. You try to run an older game on the wrong operating system with hardware that does not meet the conditions required for the game. Change the BIOS or the net won't help with this question.

I tried viewing a presentation power point and got to page 2 and my computer crashed. Thought on... what he did previously trying to display a PPP file, but I thought that it was not my computer to the actual file. now I have my doubts and also this time an error message came that said... This problem occurred because your graphics card does not support the required version of DirectX. This version of Windows requires a DirectX 9.0 compatible video card or newer. can someone tell me what I should do next?
You left out which version of DirectX has been shown.
As far as I know, your Intel 945GM should support DirectX 9 and because you have XP sp3, you must have at least DirectX 9 installed.
I met the following, but it shouldn't apply to Powerpoint:
Some such as the Intel 945 GM Intel video cards have a design limitation which may cause problems when you try to run the Source Engine games. 3D graphics kernel does not support transformation of material, light and the vertex shader to similar technologies, which is an important part of the pipeline of 3D acceleration. Instead, this functionality is emulated in software that can reduce the compatibility and performance with 3D games.
I don't have a solution for you (assuming that DXDIAG, in fact, reports to have DirectX 9 or higher). You can see if you install a new driver support, but if it were me, I would be first contact Acer technical support or ask your question in another forum as one of the following conditions:
Intel graphics Forum: http://communities.intel.com/community/tech/graphics
Forum PowerPoint: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/powerpoint (select the corresponding forum for your version of Powerpoint). Include the results of DxDiag, including the version of DirectX. If there is something unusual about the image that causes the crash, include this info as well.Normally, for notebook/laptop computer, it is better to get the drivers of the mfr of computer rather than the manufacturer of the device.
Acer drivers for your computer are here: http://support.acer.com/us/en/product/default.aspx?tab=1&modelId=535 (you want the Intel VGA for XP driver)
Intel has a newer driver: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Internet+Devices&ProductLine=Netbooks&ProductProduct=Mobile+Intel%C2%AE+945GM+Express+Chipset+Family
