  I'm trying to find a GOOD way to interact with the external classes user interface components. For example, that you have a 'controller' class that needs to access the view of the user interface in some way (define a label text or something else). The controller class does not do anything, it discusses only the logic of what should be the case. Currently, it is created by my top-level class when the program starts. He listens to some events occur and needs to update/interact with the user interface or the State of the application depending on what events are. I do not seem to be a way for this controller class to easily access the UI component that I need to get my hands on.
  
  I'm trying to do to reduce the size of a file of mxml WindowedApplication growing (LOOK cool but that is not important) and take part of the logic of the application of this file.
  
  It's complicated by the fact that the label is in a State that does not have the status of 'base' (so it is not a child, or even a subsidiary child of the main class at boot time) and by the fact that it is not yet near a high school component. (If that were the case, I could probably just pass the label object in the constructor for the outdoor classroom.)
  
  In other words, I can't just call getChild ("labelName") on my 'main' request object because it is buried nested inside OTHER components. I don't think I like the idea to browse all components and sous-composants recursively looking for the component that my outer class trying to ask. I thought about other ideas, but I don't like any of them enough to try them, eh.
  
  I'm at the point now about where I come to the conclusion that my fundamental design strategy is wrong, or Flex just not allowing complex applications where the GUI components can interact with external classes relatively pain-free. I'm not convinced that "Flex cannot do', I'm looking for advice on some great Flex application in all design patterns.
  
  Where do you put this kind of control logic, and what happens when it starts to overflow and become so large that you need to break in other files?

• Script objects lost after execution of an element of interaction with the user?

  I'm new to the development of a plugin vCO and recently I see something which I think is abnormal about the element user intervention is a workflow.

  1. I created a few script objects (subject to the vCO plugin I developed) in a script element and I linked them as attributes for the workflow. These objects are all working well.

  2. after the script element, there is an element of the Interaction of the user

  3. after the part of the User Interaction, there is another element of script in which I tried to link the objects mentioned in #1 as in parameter.

  Somehow to step #3, vCO can't seem to find these objects, the error reported as:

  I thought that maybe the scripts provided in my plugin objects are problematic, so I replaced the with objects provided in the plugins official sampe of the vCO (SolarSystem sample plugin), but the result is the same.

  However, if I repalce those objects with variables of simple types (String, number, etc), there is no problem when I initialize them before an element of the Interaction of the user and reference them in the following script items.

  Yes, sorry about that. The type is called properties. In fact, I created a test workfow with example (attached).

  I just bought the new MacBook Pro with Retina Display Mid 2015

  I installed CC applications as usual and everything was fine until today. Ive been using before AE with this new computer and everything worked smoothly.

  Nothing has changed in terms of parameters or updates. He just started lagging. I can't use it because its boring. Whenever I click on something it is lagging! This also happens when there is no open compositions, just the app and the im through the settings.

  Hi, hoping someone can help with my VM build workflow that uses a predefined as input XML file.

  I want the end user to confirm the XML values before the start of the construction so I dropped in a purpose of the interaction with the user who essentially just relays back to the user attributes. It is an additional Boolean attribute here asking the user whether or not the values are correct.

  First of all, I would like to make the presentation read-only fields, is it possible?

  Secondly, how can I control the workflow by the result of the Boolean attribute - Yes, these values are correct - continue to build, or not, there is an error - cancel the workflow with an error.

  Regarding the presentation of entries in a read-only mode, the other guys listed above there is not readonly attribute... but, the workaround for this is to use these entries as part of the description of a group or a stage of presentation in this format:

  I use this great applescript to transform my indesign layers in photoshop layers:

  He asks a folder put a temporary pdf file, then asks some preferences (indesing pdf export preset, color mode, pagenumber, resolution and anti-aliasing on or off). Then the script should work fine until what indesign all layers are beautifully transformed into pixelated photoshop layers.

  Photoshop gives me the dialog box 'Open', then 'Import PDF' dialog box (don't use only not settings than the requested script), 'Open' and 'Import PDF' same dialog boxes for the next layer, then a dialog box to name a duplicate layer, the dialog box 'Close Document', 'Préférences' dialog box, "Canvas size" dialog box... you get the point.

  All the stuff the script should be done automatically.

• How to detect an interaction of the user with a VerticalFieldManager object?

  It is a question for those who have more experience with gui on BB things.  I use the eclipse with Simulator pack 6 and 9800 component plugin.

  I have a VerticalFieldManager (VFM) object that contains a few fields menu. I would like to detect when the user attempts to modify one of these fields, to load a file and update the menus. The thing is that these menus are usually not changed by a user, perhaps only once for the time up-front, something like the choice of your country and city and other, then you will not change that the next time around. So I want to avoid loading the file and simply use the settings saved in the place. Here is what I tried and the solutions I've had but NOT as aestatically

  (1) I can not load the file as a response to one of the modification of fields (using setChangeListener) because it is already too late and the present menu is outdated.

  (2) I can add a checkbox to the optimization of resources and take care to load the file and update the menus there. It works, but I DON'T want. It's ugly and not easy to flow!

  (3) I tried to setChangeListener for the optimization of resources, but it receives no change! Here is the code for my VFM:

  A few possibilities:

  1. you can check the field with emphasis (to use VOR getLeafFieldWithFocus()) in your makeMenu() and branch accordingly.

  2. you can define listener focus on each field change and bake menu items when its focusChanged() method is called with equal to FOCUS_GAINED eventType. There you can check the setting of field and prepare the relevant menu items.

  You can use the same setCookie/getCookie approach I have proposed before in both scenarios if you wish.

  My application displays the screen connection at startup, the requirement is, if the user is on any other screen except the connection and there is no user interaction with the application for 1 minute, I'm supposed to navigate the user to the sign again.

  I could put a timer, but I'll have to do it on the screen throughout the application. I want to avoid this.

  Any suggestions how can I go to this topic?

  Please provide the exact point of the software & OS installed on your system. Also check if it is there any update available for the software after going through "help > check updates.

  You can check after connecting this scanner locally to the system if asked its connected on network & then look for the same thing.

  I'm confused. I plugged everything in the binding in the same way, but it does not seem to reflect the State of the attribute. I can switch the Boolean value in the Interaction of the user and the attribute is replaced as expected.

  Edit: I have reproduced this issue with a very simple affair. Make a new workflow and put only a part of the Interaction of the user in it. In the UI element, create an external of entry as a Boolean attribute of the workflow. Default font to True/Yes. When you run the workflow, the user interface element shows the value as a no.?

  Looks like a bug in the client Java vRO (but works in vSphere client to Web). I am able to reproduce it in my environment, on the two vRO 6.x and 7.0.

  I'll open a PR in order to track and remedy in the future vRO releases.

  BTW, I vaguely remember there is a reported similar problem long time for vCO 4.x. It seems that the problem has reappeared again in silence

  To resolve this problem, simply is to remove all bookmarks you have to keiron.me.uk and then re-create by vising the site by typing the address directly into the address bar.
