Interactive adjustment of the Source of report/form.

I have an interactive report that connects to a form that allows you to edit the data in the report row that was clicked. On this form, I know for non-PK columns, you must choose a source of "column.
But what the source for text elements hold the primary key columns?
I noticed this setting those either "Always, replacing all existing..."/ "Always Null" or "Database column" work. " Since the form never will allow the user to change the PK columns, it must be set to "column of the database" because its value does not update the column in the related table.
What is the standard practice to set the Source in this situation?

Hi Prohan,

PK columns always are the columns of database and, in fact, are probably more important because these are the ones that the page process to recover and insert/update / delete data. If you check the process "go get the line from...". «and "line process of...» "on a form page, you will see the PK elements used.

Generally, they should be implemented exactly the same with regard to the other columns in the database, but must be 'hidden' so that the user cannot change them.

    Normally, I put all the fields, check boxes and option boxes I need using Acrobat before downloading/creating a Widget, but were never able to determine if/when in acrobat that you could potentially affect hide/show/toggle conditions.  In this way, if I ever need to make any changes to the PDF source and produce a new widget, I don't have to redo all the settings of the conditions if these fields does not change in any way.

    You can add text fields (or checkbox and radio buttons) and name these fields using the tag text, but without the brackets syntax.

    You can check for the views of the Apex by running:

    SELECT DISTINCT APEX_VIEW_NAME FROM APEX_DICTIONARY ORDER BY 1
    

    If all goes well, the names should be enough determine points of view you need. Once you've found a (for example, APEX_APPLICATION_PAGES), you can do a SELECT on it

    I have a 'form on a Table' where the various fields have the "Source Type" = "column of the database. I have 2 Questions for this type of shape:

    1: in the field "Source value or expression", it is possible to change the name of the field in the Table. But I can't understand how view or even change the underlying Table (which had to be chosen at the beginning, when the form was created at the start).

    2: my question in section that relates to the first question would be, if it is possible to have multiple underlying tables in the same region. Or whether it would be necessary to create a second region or change the "Column of the database" type in a type of SQL query?

    To change the table, you need to change the process of the page. A process has been generated called:

    Why are you describing that as a' form '? The area shown in the image is clearly an interactive report region. Do not use standard Oracle APEX terminology makes it very difficult to understand your problem. Perhaps this interactive report was created as a form on a Table by report using the form wizard.     I just posted this in the Adobe bug report, but wanted to make sure it is a bug of software, not a personal fault. Did anyone else encounter this problem and have you found a solution?  Thank you!

    Steps to reproduce the Bug:

    1. create a new model of px 500 x 500, new comp solid size and double-click Rect. mask tool to create a full size mask.

    2 adjust the mask using the "Shape" dialog box to set the left and right to 250. Output dialog.

    3.re - enter in the dialog box and try to make any changes to the left and to the right, or try to reset the rectangular box.

    Results:

    The changes will not be saved out of the dialog box.  This is the case when you work with keyframes or not. It should also be noted that if a mask is done this way, then a new keyframe, the mask is "reset", the shape will not change, but I noticed that points are.

    It seems that when the mask sharing the left and right sides identical, it confuses the points and cannot properly open the mask up.

    I saw your bug report and was able to reproduce the problem.

    The problem occurs only when the left/right or up/down pairs have exactly the same value. Changing the value of the left or top will also change the law or low value, respectively. and change the value to the right or bottom is not saved when you OK from the dialog box.

    My hunch is that this bug is related to the logic in the form of mask Panel that corrects the values so that the left value can never be greater than the fair value or the value never greater than the background value. (This logic ensures that left is always left or right and top are always above the background.)

    This bug seems to have been in After Effects at least several years (9.0 or a previous version). Anyway, apologies for the disruption.

    You can have fields flowing / more dynamic in a PDF of LiveCycle Designer form, but not in an AcroForm (only created in Acrobat).  LiveCycle Designer is a program completely separated used for are delivered with each purchase Acrobat Acrobat XI has been release.  Now you must buy separately.  But LiveCycle Designer PDF forms are wrapped in a shell of PDF so that they will be displayed and can be filled in the free Acrobat Reader DC and earlier versions.

    If you do this in Acrobat with an AcroForm, you have as much information typed into a field that the user wants, but he's going to show everything on the screen.  Displays only the text that fits into the field, then a + sign will appear in the field to indicate that there is more text in this field, you can scroll down to read.  You can also set the automatic font size so that as more text is entered in the police becoming smaller and smaller to adjust the text, but that is usually not desirable for many forms.

  • can not see the wave forms when dragging clips in the source monitor

    I'm editing interviews where images and the original sound has been grouped in merged clips or sequences. I love the source monitor editing in the timeline, so I drag the sequence in the monitor source from the location of the project. From there, I can see and hear the movie without problem. However, when I mark the starting points and insert the images into a new sequence (my own assembly), there is none of the waveforms. In the source monitor itself, if I change the Audio waveform display, there seems to be none of the waveforms here either. Its strange, because first of all, I can hear the audio, and secondly, if I open the original sequence in the timeline panel by double-clicking it, instead of in the source monitor, dragging in there, then I can see the audio waveforms very well... Sounds strange... that the program if not just showing the waveforms for sequences if they are in the source monitor?

    Any ideas would be a massive help.

    (this is CC, 2014, with the Canon 5 d footage and Wav audio files recorded separately)

    I really discovered what seems to be the cause of the problem. In the sequence, there is a blank audio track for a reason any. When I delete the sequence and then drag this sequence in the source monitor, BEHOLD, I still see forms audio waveform. No idea why it shows one track empty when it IS... Weird.

    I have a question that maybe stupid, but boring for me. I need to provide a report form, where certain elements of the form have been given values automatically, and these elements (display only) are supposed to show some values in the form automatically.

    I used the shape of the APEX with report. The update and delete worked well. But I can't display the automatic values when inserting. By default, APEX insert form makes each null element. I tried to give the value of two items: P5212_USERKEY, P5212_DAILY_VER_DATE with the process before header, after the header, after regions and footer and of calculation or in values of these two elements of the branch if user hit create button (submit). It never worked the two elements always display null value and when I load, I got "ORA-01400: cannot insert NULL into ("TBSBI".» "" "DAILYVERPRODNOTE '." " TAKE') ", because I put in place the constraint in the database that these two columns should not be null.

    Could anyone help on this? any suggestion would be appreciated.

    If you have performed these 'Display' values only they can by default does not save session state. To access the elements of the page always returns null. Have you changed the "Save Session State" option to "Yes"?
