Interactive PDF: flipping scalable button images seem to break up when they overlap

Hi all

In my interactive PDF, I have rollover buttons that resizable overview.  The buttons are close together.  When I put the cursor on a button and go to the other in Adobe Acrobat format, it seems to be brief I snap the picture.  I think this is caused when the images are superimposed.  It would be very attractive to my client.  Is there a setting that I can use to prevent this?  I feel I have tried all the settings in the Export menu, I'm looking at you all for the advice.  Here is a link to the PDF in question.  Thanks for helping me with this.

The only thing you can do is to stop the overlap of the buttons.

    Hi chbradshaw,

Instead of filling & signature, tool, use the text comment comment tool, KB doc option. using comments in the PDF, Adobe Acrobat DC files (keyword: Add a text comment).

  • InDesign CS5 or 5.5 Interactive pdfs - create a button for printing?

    Hello beautiful InDesign experts.

I am creating an interactive pdf using CS 5.5 and would like to have a button on each page which, when pushed, opens a print window (if the user can print the page, or a range of pages, if they want to). I know you can do it for the finished pdf in Acrobat, but prefer to keep everything in InDesign, if possible.

    Thank you much in advance,

    Lisa

No, you cannot add a "print" button in InDesign. To be assigned in Acrobat.

  • RAW NEF images are completely different (darker) when they are imported into Lightroom?

Recently I faced a problem for my RAW of NIKON D750 images after imported into Lightroom.

For example, the brightness of the RAW images I shot in the camera is completely different after imported into Lightroom.

Yes, the RAW files include more data that can be adjusted backwards in brighter in Lightroom, but it occurs the most noise to the image that I don't really like.

I just curious is my setting in camera (maybe the screen is too bright perhaps?) or it is common that viewing through the camera LCD screen is brighter than the visualization in Lightroom?

Behind closed doors (the brightness I want):

    20150606_122350.jpg

    Through Lightroom:

    Untitled.png

If you want to be in non-Nikon raws software processing, turn off the ADL and leave it off.   The same applies to other settings where the camera is something special for lighting or the brightness of the camera jpg.

ADL will deliberately underexpose the image, then artificially pushed the dark areas while leaving only brighter area.  This more dynamic compress in the camera-jpg, but will make no-Nikon software see the true underexposed image.

  • Interactive PDF buttons

I'm an interactive PDF using navigation buttons. Part of the time that I am using the next or previous page that work well. There are other times where I'd use "go to page" but this option for the buttons is not available for PDF files, only for sovereign funds. Does anyone know a workaround for a link to a page with a button? I'm not familiar with the use of hypertext links, but I guess it's only for the text and I use objects.

You can use 'Go To Destination.' A destination would be the text anchor point (you do not have to attach objects to the anchor). Just put an anchor in the location that you want the button to go to and then specify the destination for the button.

Take a look at panels bookmarks or hyperlinks for more information about the create destination anchors.

This approach is often more useful than to jump to a page, because pagination can change, and the anchor is also a place more precise (which will remain with its neighboring text if the document expands or reduces).

  • Question about PDF files with linked images (not embedded) between the player and Illustrator

What I will meet situations when I get a PDF file to client that must be changed. When they load in Acrobat Reader, it works fine. However if I load in Illustrator it asks me to point to the linked file. The question is how Acrobat Reader to open a PDF file and display a linked file when it is not incorporated? Why Illustrator cannot do the same?

It is more of a technical issue, but any information would be helpful.  Thank you.

For the associated images, your PDF file contains a thumbnail image as well as the reference or the address of the actual image. Player will show this vignette. Now, you want to change the PDF in Illustrator, he wants to allow you to work on the actual image. That's why it asks you to point to the linked file.

  • can radio buttons show/hide the info in an interactive pdf?

Hello. I have a question to which I have been faced with during some time... hoping someone can help.

I create a document in InDesign CS6. It's basically a guide with a joint questionnaire.

I have forward and back buttons work properly - so that they take you from one page to another.

However, the more difficult question is I want to have interactivity with the use of radio buttons and eventually the check boxes. Thus, for example, on page 1, I have a question multiple choice where there are three choices. Clicking the wrong answer shows a block of text saying 'no it's wrong' and clicking on the appropriate radio button shows the words "Yes, correct."

I have created three blocks of text and make it into a multi-state object.

    Three problems:

    1. option buttons seem to be the option for "the State" in the buttons and Forms dialog box
    2. even if that were the case - the State Road seems to be only swf, non-interactive pdf form - is there a way to change this?
    3. script assuming that there IS a way, everything can be put in place so that instead of using radio buttons I have use of check boxes that only give the correct answer if the correct check boxes are selected.

I would stick to indesign to do this, however, I think that the option is perhaps more suited for this problem?

    Many thanks in advance,

    SunsV

1 - make 3 images and convert it into boxes option...

Text blocks 2 2-make (Yes, his right) (No, the wrong) and convert it to buttons - rename it (Righ, evil)

3 - Click on each radio button and apply action: Show/Hide button and form and on the visibility to activate the globe eye for buttons wrong or right.

  • buttons change layers when creating interactive PDF HELP!

I have a lot of documents with images that need to be enlarged, so for each image (a few pages with a single image, others with 4 or 5) I create the image as a button.  In a new layer called overlay, I create a greybox on the page and the bigger picture and more than (the two buttons and hidden initially).

If the layers order goes like this:

    Big picture (top)

    GreyBox

    small image.

Preview interactive ePub in InDesign is on-site.  The button to reveal and hide the images correctly and are in the correct order.

HOWEVER, when I generate an interactive PDF, pages look fine until I click on a button, but once I click on a picture, I get:

big picture is cut UNDER the greybox.

Small image is above the large image.

I published the document online and when displayed in a browser, all the problems disappear (I remember that it uses the same engine as the preview interactive ePub) but when I download the on-line document, the errors come back.

I feel really it is a bug in InDesign (Adobe listening?) and if anyone has had similar problems, I'd like to hear about them.

    Any help gratefully received.

    Thank you

    Ian

Try the object > interactive > set tab order

  • Interactive PDF Web sound-problems buttons will not play on the other, and ugly gray boxes are visible

When I export my interactive pdf file and open the html or swf file, it works exactly as I want it, but it works on my computer because I have all the links and resources on my computer included in a zip file. The only way I can get others to see it seems to be downloading the zip on dropbox and others who download and then extract files, which is not practical. I would like to integrate the interactive pdf on a Web site or a blog, so it does not directly on the page without having to download all the recources publishes the new web feature seems it might be a good solution, but when I try to publish, it is not working properly users.

    Screenshot (148).png

My project is to play several audio files on the other, so if a user clicks a button sound is read, and if you click on another button, the first sound will not stop, they will play together. So, for example, if you click on the top button, a beat will play, and if you click on the guitar slot, a guitar sound will play on the beat. It works fine on my computer in the swf or html file, but for some reason any when I publish it to the web, it will only play a sound at the same time. The pace will just stop playing if you click on one of the instruments, which makes the entire project useless. Another problem is that I can't seem to remove the gray boxes without taking away his ability to make it sound. The first photo is that it is supposed to look like, and here's what it looks like when I publish it to the web:

    Screenshot (147).png

In addition, as you can see, it does not export as interactive PDF, it exports an indd file. It's clickable and interactive however, just with a few bugs.

Can someone either help me to correct the parameters in the function of online publication, or to teach me another way to incorporate the project on a blog or a website?

    Thanks in advance.

Interactive PDF is a roll of the dice in a browser and using SWF out from. He died a technology as it is and will work on any mobile system, or on a desktop computer that does not have flash player installed.

Without knowing what you were doing, it is impossible to tell you why post them online does not work for you but you should really take the time to know what interactive feature are and are not supported with each format.

  • PDF forms interactive Adobe Indesign - Radio button groups

I am trying to create an interactive form in Indesign. When I create selection of different lines with the radio button options. When I export PDF all radio buttons respond to each all the different lines. Is it possible to group together them I'm not finding where only the keys for the turn on and off specific issue and not all the lines with different questions. They seem to be all connected. I'm sure I'm missing a setting or a way to isolate a group form another, but I can't understand it. Thank you.

  • Bad image quality of interactive PDF

    Help!

A logo that is placed in InDesign and exported as an interactive PDF does not appear correctly.

The customer says it is damaged on your laptop. Some letters in the logo seem more than others and some seem thicker.

It is a vector file of RGB. I tried, eps, pdf, png, jpeg. I redesigned the letters. I copied and pasted into another document. I reduced the extent of it. I've copied from illustrator directly in Indesign.

I changed the management of image compression, JPEG quality and resolution in the export to interactive PDF settings.

I don't know what else to try.

The customer declares to 200% the logo seems ok in acrobat, but full screen, the problem returns.

    Help, please!

    The version I.

Open the logo and care than I and L are not replaced by a single line. Add one or two anchor points in straight lines.

L and I are often converted in PDF export in simple lines instead of rectangles, because it saves space, but it allows the bolder appearance on screen.

  • Is is possible to have the images as thumbnails and make sure you can click on it to enlarge and then click on them again to return to the original size? In an interactive pdf?

I'm designing an interactive catalog in a pdf document. Is it possible to have the images as a thumbnail then click to enlarge the image and then click again to bring them back to the original size?

    Thank you in advance!

    Stephanie

Select the small image and amounted to a button, place the magnified image and which to a button. Change the button to show/hide the big button do. The large button is hidden until the button is clicked, and then to hide when you click New.

Alternatively, you can have another InDesign document with images in full size, add text anchors to the images full size. Convert the small images for the buttons (or add invisible buttons above them) and tell the buttons to go to anchor text in the other document. Combine the two documents in a book, export to interactive PDF format.

  • Nonprinting buttons appearing in the wrong order when you export to interactive PDF!

I am a customizable holiday gift certificate creating generic view on our website for download. I create using InDesign CS6. The idea is that the interactive PDF can be opened in the reader, one of the six charts of certificate can be selected (via the radial buttons that hide/show graphics that have been converted into buttons), and various text fields can be filled in. Then, the certificate can be printed and cropped. I have all the interactive elements, works very well, including the "print" key. The interactive PDF looks like this:

    Waste_Free_Certificates_correct.jpg

However, when printing, I would ONLY the certificates and the fields of text to print and not the instructions, header, or radial buttons selection certificate or full color, background. The point of this is so that the user doesn't lose the ink. I want to print like this:

    Waste_Free_Certificates_printed.jpg

At first I tried to make nonprinting objects, but which also shows them not when exported to interactive PDF. I then tried the same thing by putting on another layer and uncheck "print layer" (but check "show layer"), but I came across the same result. After searching the forums, I discovered that the only way to make these nonprinting elements, yet still visible in the interactive PDF, is to convert each object to a button and then uncheck the "Printable" box in the window buttons and forms. I did, and now everything seems to work fine...

Except that when you export, export buttons in order of stacking poorly, like this:

    Waste_Free_Certificates_wrong.jpg

This color background continues to go on in front of all the rest. Even if I put it on it's very own layer under layer with all other charts (converted to buttons) on this subject, he always appears in front of all the other buttons. It is the same whether or not I have check the box create Acrobat layers. What the devil I'm doing wrong?

Hi guys, I have a big problem, export an interactive file:
