Interactive report CSS question...

Hi all..

APEX: 4.1
BROWSER: IE 7
Database: 11g

Please help me with this CSS problem.
I have an interactive report that is too large for the region.
I use the following CSS to have a bar scrolling for this region,
If it grows more.
Region Header:
<div style="overflow:auto;overflow-y: hidden;">

Region Footer:
</div>
Please see the following page.

http://Apex.Oracle.com/pls/Apex/f?p=41803:4
workspace: kumar2003
Username:test_user
password: test
application: 41803
Page: 4

I have the following problems with the report.

(1) If you scroll the report, "" OBSERVE THE "' GO AND ' ' BUTTONS of ACTION '" interactive reports.
Even the button are also mobile and spoil the appearance of interactive report.
Is anyway to keep the buttons in the same situation?

Another question:

(2) instead of a scroll at the bottom of the area bar, it is possible to
'' increase the width of the region' "until the report develops?
What CSS changes in the level of the region as I do?

Please help me

Hello

I don't know what the problem is.
But if fix you this move button, I guess you have problem that drop downs column header are not aligned correctly when you click the header.

    This has probably been concave, but I have not found how to ask the question to find the answer, so I apologize in advance.

    Running APEX 4.2.3 I need do the following:

    I need to be able to send an email to all registrants in a filtered interactive report, with one of the interactive report fields e-mail address.  So I imagine something like this:

    1 run an interactive report and it returns 1000 rows.

    2. I filter the report so that the subset resulting contains 30 rows.

    3. I click on a button that says Compose Message

    4. a box perhaps (a modal window?) to allow the body of the message type.

    5. click a button to send a Message

    6 to run a PL/SQL procedure cycles to each line of the EIS filtered to get the email address.  (This IS THE PART that I KNOW not HOW to DO it)

    7. use the same PL/SQL procedure from step 6 to send the e-mail message.

    I understand how do anything but striking since the interactive report filtered e-mail addresses.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Bob

    Now look at the process... You need build the e-mail process, but the query NOW respect filtering done on the report.  I added a function to your workspace that you want to download where you want to develop this...

    This function determines the ACTIVE query for the report, binds with the values bind variables and returns the query, where I add a selection to the e-mail address to select it and build an array of values to loop through...

  • Interactive Reporting 11.1.2.1 Questions

    I have a few questions about creating interactive reports 11.1.2.1 after being unable to find anything searching extensively here and in several articles, engines search, Readme, admin guides, etc.

    I have not had training in IR again... my departure to training depends on several things, be able to use the IPad with these reports of IR.

    -J' noticed that I'm only able to create a connection file of database through the client for the studio Office IR interface. For the web client, no luck. Would that be correct?

    -The consultation of reports of IR and perforating dimensions would, through the workspace on an IPad? Or y at - it another way to view reports of the IR on an IPad?

    All info provided would be extremely useful and appreciated.

    Thanks - C

    FYI, Safari is not a browser supported for 11.1.2.2 and before. If I remember when I finally tested - I think I could open a session, but none of the objects or the menus worked, so you could ' t do anything.

    Financial information is supported in the latest version (11.1.2.3.):

    Apple:
    iOS5, iOS6: financial reports support only native browser only
    Android:
    3.x, 4.x: financial reports support only native browser only

    Not 100% sure what exactly means and will have to implement a test environment.

    It also seems that the documentation is well supported on Safari.

  • Questions about the icons for interactive report

    When I created an interactive report, rectangular icons were created automatically on the left side of the report on each line.
    When you click on one of the icons, it displays the details of the line in vertical order.

    Here are my questions:

    1. when I hid a few columns in the interactive report and clicks on the icon, it does not display the details of the hidden column. But I want to hide these columns in the report but displays all the details when you click the icon. How can I do this?
    2. How can I hide the icons?

    Hello

    1. when I hid a few columns in the interactive report and clicks on the icon, it does not display the details of the hidden column. But I want to hide these columns in the report but displays all the details when you click the icon. How can I do this?

    You can create another region, or the page that will show you your line of description of identifier, or rowid. You can do this by changing the column type of link to "target of the link to Custom.

    2. How can I hide the icons?

    Access the interactive report-> column-> change of link column link (link column exclude)

    3. How can I use the icons don't not to view the details of a line, but towards a modifiable page to edit the same details?

    The same as answer 1.

    I recently installed the latest version of the APEX. I deployed as an EAR on Oracle WebLogic. Then, I created a simple

    Hi Wes,

    Send a report as an e-mail requires an SMTP server. You must configure your instance settings to point to the SMTP server.

  • Interactive report download link Question

    I have an interactive report where I outer joined to a table containing BLOB objects I want the user to be able to click on a link to download. I have a custom procedure that works with the download link. However, I can't figure out how to get the download link to only display for the records that actually have a file (since it is outside joined, only some records have a file blob associated with them).

    Click on this link to see a screenshot of the sample report.

    The existing column with the download link was created as a link of the column, where I specify the url (for my custom download proc). The problem as you can see is that it puts the download link in this column for each row, if he really is a file to download or not. I would have rather than a download link where there is a file to download for this record (see the column of my file).

    Thanks in advance for any help on this.

    Decode, matter, or NVL2 the link:

    SELECT
        empno,
        NVL2(my_file, 'Download',null) link
      FROM
        emp

    Replace # with the URL of your custom procedure.

  • Interactive report with display of the icon to set the page element

    Hi all

    I am currently using Apex 4.2.4, I have an interactive report using icons, each icon has a link to another page but a few I want to set a value in a page hidden in the same page element which is then used as a variable for a classic report.

    I have this work via link href in the icon as f? p ='|| FA.page |': 1 :'|| : app_session |': P10_ID_ITEM :'|| FA.link_name without error.

    My problem is that I wanted to put the value of the element without using a link href that I could handle the clicked icon to change the background color so that the user can have a Visual representation, where it was clicked, then using the value of the page item appears the classic report in another region with a partial refresh.

    Any help is appreciated, thanks.

    Can you provide a detailed explanation of the purpose of this report and the logic used in the report query? What are the rules to control which icons appear in the IR, what icons link to the second report on the page of IR, and icons to link to separate pages?

    For me, the report query seems too complicated and inefficient by returning the data it does, and if another level of data is added to the hierarchy or more data is added to the second level, it fails with:

    ORA-01427: einreihig subquery returns multiple rows

    I'm guessing that the intent is that the IR displays only the icons at the top level of the hierarchy and icons for posting a link to a different page when they have no descendants, or to display the related lines in the secondary report below the IR when they do. I created a new page with the report query modified to a route of tree and keep the upper level lines. It is much more effective than the original query and simplifies the logic necessary for the verification of end-nodes. Instead of generating a URL link (which violates the separation of concerns), the query returns of the discrete values that can be used to implement the HTML link in the Icon View link Custom property:

    with icon_tree as (
          select
              ic.id_icon
            , ic.icon_name
            , ic.link_name
            , nullif(connect_by_isleaf, 1) is_parent
            , level depth
          from
              icons ic
                connect by
                    prior ic.link_name = ic.id_parent
                start with
                    ic.id_parent is null)
    select
        id_icon
      , icon_name
      , link_name
      , apex_util.get_blob_file_src('P10_ICON_IMAGE', id_icon) img_src
      , nvl2(is_parent, '586', link_name) target
      , nvl2(is_parent, 'P586_ID_PARENT', null) parent_item
      , nvl2(is_parent, link_name, null) parent_id
      , :app_id app_id
      , :app_session app_session
      , :debug debug
    from
        icon_tree
    where
        depth = 1

    In the interactive report, Use Custom Icon Link is set to Yes, and the custom link is:

    #ICON_NAME#

    Public static ID icons and results are applied to the IR and the regions second report respectively for use as selectors in action dynamics and CSS. The protected value property for the page P586_ID_PARENT element must be set to No for the value can be defined by a dynamic action.

    Dynamic action with several real actions is needed to bind alternatives click behavior to the links on the icons that have descendants (i.e. where the data-parent-id attribute has a value):

    Event: Click

    Selection type: jQuery Selector

    jQuery Selector:.apexir_WORKSHEET_ICONS a:not([data-parent-id=""])

    Real Actions

    Seq: 10

    Action: Delete the class

    Class:selected

    Selection type: jQuery Selector

    jQuery Selector:.apexir_WORKSHEET_ICONS a

    Seq: 20

    Action: Add the class

    Class:selected

    Selection type: trigger element

    Seq: 30

    Action: Set value

    Wait for result: Yes

    Type of value: Expression of JavaScript

    JavaScript expression:$(this.triggeringElement).attr('data-parent-id')

    Selection type: Agenda

    Point: P586_ID_PARENT

    Seq: 40

    Action: Discount

    Selection type: Region

    Region: results

    Seq:50

    Action: Show

    Selection type: Region

    Region: results

    Seq: 60

    Action: Cancel event

    Finally, add a style sheet to the Inline CSS property page. Initially, this hides the secondary report and select the parent clicked icon:

    #results {
      display: none;
    }
    #icons .apexir_WORKSHEET_ICONS a {
      border: 1px solid transparent;
      border-radius: 3px;
      padding: 0.8em 0 0.5em;
    }
      #icons .apexir_WORKSHEET_ICONS a.selected {
        border-color: #6a9cda;
        background-color: #bbd1ec;
        transition: 0.6s;
      }

    However, after all it is the question of why you use an interactive report here if you turned off all the features of the IR? A dynamic list with a custom template box seems to be more applicable?

  • Adjust the height of the line in an interactive report for all lines

    Hello
    I have an interactive report with lots of data in certain cells. The height of the heights of lines varies, so that all data is visible in the cells.
    I want to correct or to limit the row height to a specific value, so that all lines are displayed with the same height.
    Do anyone knows how to win this? Thanks in advance.

    Thanks a lot for your answer.
    I tried your proposal, but it has no effect. The cells in the report show all their content using as many lines as you need for this.

    This is the default behavior for the HTML table data (tables and cells grow to fit their content).

    So I have always with lots of lines, lines and lines with only a few mixed lines in my IR dependant on the contents of the cell. Because some lines almost filling the whole screen, it is difficult to get an overview with regard to adjacent lines.
    I use the Application Express 4.1.1.00.23. with the theme 21. Scarlet and Firefox 17.0.1.

    All users using Firefox?

    In fact, I'm working on my first APEX Solution for use in my business and demanding customers a solution for this topic. So I'm very keen to find a solution.
    I am very looking forward to your reply.

    I have been involved in similar questions in the past. My first reaction is simple: these data must be included in the report? The offending column can be removed from the primary report? They will always be visible in the display of the row and the detail view when it exists.

    The second option is to create a detailed view of the report with a structure that is better suited to the data concerned and make it the default view. (For an example, see the treatment of the PRODUCT_DESCRIPTION column in the detail view of the report in the sample database Application: click the show details on the product page.)

    The third possibility is some sort of customization of the presentation of the data. It will be using a combination of HTML/CSS/dynamic of the Actions/Plug-ins/JavaScript that you may not be familiar with: do you have any experience of these? To go this route, you must describe in detail how you want to present data, or what behavior is required when the data is too long and share a sample of the report on the apex.oracle.com we can work with.

  • Set the size of the field in the report and the interactive report

    Hello.

    I have 2 questions.

    1. How do I report and interactive report to broadcast 100% of the width of the screen, even with just 1 column?
    2. how to set the custom field size. For example, first field should be 100px 200px second and so forth

    Thank you.

    This is to answer your second question.
    Define the columns with a width of custom field?
    Go to declare attributes--> click Change next to the domain name-->
    Find the region column--> CSS formatting style:
    Enter the values you want to account for your specifications.

    Ex: CSS Style: Width: 100px
    or Style CSS: Width: 200px

  • Lowercase first letter in the name of the column in the non-interactive report... Once again

    A few days ago a posted a question on how to make the column name in a non-interactive report
    out like the lowercase. (original post: lowercase first letter on behalf of the non-interactive report column )
    I use Theme13, which is probably the only theme that forces the first letter

    In any case, I received several responses, including the response that I applied on my page.
    Then I went back to make the column sortable and which denies the alternative CSS and

    Are there any other suggestions on how to force lowercase with Theme 13 and a sortable column?

    It's all totally obsolete with respect to the 5.0 APEX where interactive reports have been completely redesigned and rebuilt.

    To complete the full version number of APEX, always indicate what theme and browser (s) / version (s) you use when asking questions of shape/layout visual layout.

    To go from rank (Zebra) when you use the universal theme distribution in interactive reports, see Re: interactive report - no line scratched?

    I can't find where in the model I can adjust the positioning of the text 'Footer region'

    I worked on it a little more.

    just to say that I use the Chrome browser.

    I worked as designer of the Page view and impossible to find using the attribute "footer text".

    I went to the view of the component and found help.

    It is said...

    Enter a footer area to display directly after the body content (that is, after #BODY# in the model of the region) or instead of #REGION_FOOTER #, where this substitution string is defined in the model.

    So I added #REGION_FOOTER # div AFTER the body...

    #BODY #.
    #REGION_FOOTER #.

    Hurrah!  the footer is now in the right place...

    Also, I noticed that if I placed an HTML element
    in the text, footer text would be in the correct position without having to change the model.
