  I have a complex page, which includes an interactive report.

  For the most part works fine, with the exception of the following:

  Under Actions menu - click Filter results only Firefox show the circle 'Treatment demand' (ajax - loader.gif), that it will never show the details of the filter.

  The action of this button

  JavaScript:gReport.dialog2 ('SHOW_FILTER');

  This page has the same result.

  Some other Actions such as "Select columns" properly.

  Other Actions as "Emphasize" also does not work.

  Other pages with IR work fine with Firefox.

  Given the complexity of the page, I prefer is not to simply rebuild the page from scratch.

  The problematic page works fine in Internet Explorer and Chrome.

  How do I troubleshoot / debug this?

  (Most of the people in our office have no Chrome, so telling them to use Chrome is not an option.)

  Internet Explorer is way slower and has a few other problems).

  I found that a small piece of Javascript on my page there was an error.

  Not directly visible in Firefox, but Internet Explorer gave a message "error on page".

  This javascript was supposed to set a focus on the page, but could not find this object.

  Nothing to do with Action in the IR, but apparently no error on the causes of pages which IR filters do not work anymore...

• Interactive report 'IN' operator does not work with commas

  I use an interactive report of the APEX and I need to filter a column of values a couple.  I use the IN operator column.  However, one of the channels I'm looking for has a comma in it.  The IR treats this as a delimiter and does not find the value. For example, I want to filter the values:

  Oracle Canada ULC

  Oracle America, Inc..

  The operational unit IN in the IR is equal to 'Oracle Canada ULC, Oracle America, Inc...  He finds only the lines with 'Oracle Canada ULC'.  He seems to think that "Oracle America" is the second value in research and "Inc." is the third and can't find anything for them.

  Is there a way to escape the comma in "Oracle America, Inc." so he treats the entire string as a value to search for?

  • In the columns , choose your column (operational unit)
  • Functions/operators choose IN
  • In Filter Expression, type your expression ("Oracle Canada ULC", "Oracle America, Inc.")

• Interactive report search bar does not work

  I'm working on a report. I have two areas, one is for the list of selection criteria and other sql query.
  To remove the data forund No.. I added REQUEST = 'GO' for the region of sql.
  
  When I run the report by selecting all my criteria and click on search, I get the interactive report. But the tool does not work. If I remove the REQUEST = 'GO' it works.

  (2) later, I changed the query like this

  But when I run the report of the new added column appears in the end?

  I already tried to rearrange the order of the columns in the browser menu, but the question remains.

• L420 screen brightness does not change with the function keys

  I installed the last dryers and since then I am unable to change the brightness of the display using the function keys. I installed several driver updates from where it is difficult to know which driver is causing the problem. The pointers in this area would be a good help.

  The latest driver Intel HD (from Intel) is originally this issue. Uninstall and reinstall the driver provided by Lenovo.

• Firefox does not start after the 3.0.1 update

  I have Firefox 3.0.1. I would like to upgrade to 3.6, but if I try to upgrade to any version, I can't open Firefox. It is not like the other problems "Does not", because in the Task Manager, firefox.exe appears, then disappears instantly. I tried in Safe Mode, do a clean install of uninstall Firefox and my profile, cleaning the registry, then using CCleaner, then try reinstalling but the problem persists. Sometimes firefox.exe is not even appear in the Task Manager. I can also use any version of IE (even if I wanted to), Safari or Chrome. They have all the same results. I suspect that this isn't a problem with Firefox, but with my computer, but I don't what is wrong. Can someone help me?

  what theme are you using?

  A customized version of the 15 theme.

  You said you were using APEX 4.0, if I was testing on 4.0, but using one of its new themes based on the standards. 15 theme is a theme of legacy from older versions of APEX, mainly to ensure a certain level of support for the despised IE6 browser. The new themes are designed to restore mode standard and those inherited mode quirks (This is explained here). Firefox (and Safari, Opera and Chrome, and...) for your application, it's academic: all the required CSS: selectors attribute, the property max-width and dressing work in two modes.

  Enter Microsoft. They decided that in IE7, backwards compatibility meant that new CSS features would be supported only in standard mode, even if they had never been implemented in older versions, with no previous, behavior that may break. Go figure. Yes, even so the dressing will work in quirks mode (no surprise - Microsoft invented), attribute selectors, and max-width only. The latter is bug in standard mode, so I tried using widthworkaround, but who has always used an attribute selector, which of course is ignored, there are no selectors of friendly quirks mode in uneditable Oracle IR of supplement.

  The best 2 options are:

  1. stop using IE.

  2. use a theme based on standards.

  Less satisfactory would be:

  3. change your theme custom (or some of its pages) in standard mode (but it could break him other stuff).
