Interactive report template

How can I change the model of an interactive report? I want to look like a jQuery ThemeRoller theme.
For a normal SQL report, I can choose a model, but not for an interactive report. I want to use an interactive for "break columns" and "Graphic".
Here is an example of a jQuery based SQL Report:
http://Apex.Oracle.com/pls/OTN/f?p=34949:70:2134681129498755:no
But in the same presentation application, they said that they cannot change the interactive report model.

Is there a way to make it look like the rest of the application?

Kind regards

Hello

Interactive reports have no model.
You can change the look by changing the css styles.

The forum search, there are a lot of post about it

  • Access to a report using a custom interactive report template

    Greetings:

    I've created an interactive report with a link to a column that is supposed to have access to another report on another pop up page that is based on a custom template. The problem is, when you create the link, I select 'Page in the present application' means the page number of the report, but when I try to pick a name, any name point wouldn't come to the lov from the report that I am tying. What I'm missing here?

    The two reports have access to the same table. The interactive report is your standard of several line, while the other custom template report shows only one line, in a format of Memo style.

    Thank you

    Hey Stan,

    your report popup page contains page elements? Because you can set page elements in a report link. In your SQL report, you use the page element in the WHERE clause to limit the output to the selected value.

    Hope that helps

  • APEX 5 interactive report data column alignment

    Hello

    I want to vertically align a column of APEX 5 interactive report data to the top of the cell (currently using the universal theme). By default, if a cell in the column in the file contains several lines (for example via the packaging), the other cells in the same row are centered compared to this in terms of vertical alignment multiline cell. I guess this can be managed with a set column expression shaped HTML, but I was not able to do so far.

    More generally how can it be implemented for all interactive reports / classics in a given application?

    I searched the forum etc. for similar positions, but not found a solution.

    See you soon,.

    It requires CSS rather than HTML, specifically the vertical-align property on the report table cells. For a single report, add a static region ID in the report area and include this style sheet in CSS Inline property page:

    #static-region-id .a-IRR-table td {
      vertical-align: top;
    }

    Leave aside the #static-region-id selector to apply the rule to each SORTING on a page.

    More generally how can it be implemented for all interactive reports / classics in a given application?

    Creating Styles of theme using the theme roller is the privileged and supported way to customize the appearance of the applications that use the universal theme.

    • Go to a page of IR in your application.
    • Click the Thème Roller on the developer toolbar.
    • Expand the CSS custom section.
    • Add this style custom rule:
    /* Interactive report cells */
    .a-IRR-table td,
    /* Standard report template cells: add selectors as required for other report templates */
    .t-Report-report td.t-Report-cell {
      vertical-align: top;
    }

    • The page will automatically preview changes.
    • Click on record under and type a name for the style of custom theme.
    • Topic close Roller
  • Filter column position of the interactive report

    Hi all!

    First of all, sorry my English.

    I have a problem with filters standart on the interactive report column heading. Version 4.0.2 APEX. It is interactive report based on the view. Nothing unusual - behavior and the default templates. I have also the region of filter on the page, and after user-press "apply" button my package variables to session state of filter. View used these values. It is worked and filtered interactive report. But when I try also to use the filters on the heading of the column that is nothing past. I have try the column type: report Standart column and display text. I have try the Filter Type column: by default based on the Type of column and the list defined by the use of... Contain. Nothing, as no filter exists at all. Filtering with worked as usual action buttons. I think that this problem in a SEPARATE implicit in this filter. I know that there are quantitative limitation of DISTINCT values with column header filter, but I have nothing in the filter. And even I have type the value and press ENTER, nothing happened. Columns with Date type is fine, but String and number does not.

    There is no work around? Thank you.

    Solved within "parameterized" view, remove and replace with SELECT with params.

    Interactive report region that model is set to Model No.? If so, that means that is missing an ID attribute that is required to bind a dynamic action after refreshing the report. Use a region template that contains id="#REGION_STATIC_ID#" , as the region without buttons or title.

    The number of standard theme for the theme of blue light is 15. Have numbered it 100 would indicate that it has been customized, exported and re-imported. In an application updated through previous versions of APEX, it can actually be an older version of this theme earlier at APEX 4.x, when a number of models in legacy issues, missing this attribute altogether.

    This is controlled by CSS theme. APEX 5.0 theme 21, the rules are:

    .a-IRR-table tr:hover td, .a-IRR-table tr:nth-child(even):hover td {
      background-color: #F0F0F0;
    }
    .a-IRR-table tr:hover td, .a-IRR-table tr:nth-child(odd):hover td {
      background-color: #F0F0F0;
    }

    However, the classes and IR HTML are different in 4.2, so the substitution to be applied through CSS Inline attributes page or template would be something like:

    table.apexir_WORKSHEET_DATA tr:hover td,
    table.apexir_WORKSHEET_DATA tr:nth-child(even):hover td,
     table.apexir_WORKSHEET_DATA tr:nth-child(odd):hover td {
      background-color: #CFCC00 !important;
    }

    (I have not access to a 4.2 installation at the present time. You can check it using your web browser Inspector.)

  • Interactive report with display of the icon to set the page element

    Hi all

    I am currently using Apex 4.2.4, I have an interactive report using icons, each icon has a link to another page but a few I want to set a value in a page hidden in the same page element which is then used as a variable for a classic report.

    I have this work via link href in the icon as f? p ='|| FA.page |': 1 :'|| : app_session |': P10_ID_ITEM :'|| FA.link_name without error.

    My problem is that I wanted to put the value of the element without using a link href that I could handle the clicked icon to change the background color so that the user can have a Visual representation, where it was clicked, then using the value of the page item appears the classic report in another region with a partial refresh.

    Any help is appreciated, thanks.

    Can you provide a detailed explanation of the purpose of this report and the logic used in the report query? What are the rules to control which icons appear in the IR, what icons link to the second report on the page of IR, and icons to link to separate pages?

    For me, the report query seems too complicated and inefficient by returning the data it does, and if another level of data is added to the hierarchy or more data is added to the second level, it fails with:

    ORA-01427: einreihig subquery returns multiple rows

    I'm guessing that the intent is that the IR displays only the icons at the top level of the hierarchy and icons for posting a link to a different page when they have no descendants, or to display the related lines in the secondary report below the IR when they do. I created a new page with the report query modified to a route of tree and keep the upper level lines. It is much more effective than the original query and simplifies the logic necessary for the verification of end-nodes. Instead of generating a URL link (which violates the separation of concerns), the query returns of the discrete values that can be used to implement the HTML link in the Icon View link Custom property:

    with icon_tree as (
          select
              ic.id_icon
            , ic.icon_name
            , ic.link_name
            , nullif(connect_by_isleaf, 1) is_parent
            , level depth
          from
              icons ic
                connect by
                    prior ic.link_name = ic.id_parent
                start with
                    ic.id_parent is null)
    select
        id_icon
      , icon_name
      , link_name
      , apex_util.get_blob_file_src('P10_ICON_IMAGE', id_icon) img_src
      , nvl2(is_parent, '586', link_name) target
      , nvl2(is_parent, 'P586_ID_PARENT', null) parent_item
      , nvl2(is_parent, link_name, null) parent_id
      , :app_id app_id
      , :app_session app_session
      , :debug debug
    from
        icon_tree
    where
        depth = 1

    In the interactive report, Use Custom Icon Link is set to Yes, and the custom link is:

    #ICON_NAME#

    Public static ID icons and results are applied to the IR and the regions second report respectively for use as selectors in action dynamics and CSS. The protected value property for the page P586_ID_PARENT element must be set to No for the value can be defined by a dynamic action.

    Dynamic action with several real actions is needed to bind alternatives click behavior to the links on the icons that have descendants (i.e. where the data-parent-id attribute has a value):

    Event: Click

    Selection type: jQuery Selector

    jQuery Selector:.apexir_WORKSHEET_ICONS a:not([data-parent-id=""])

    Real Actions

    Seq: 10

    Action: Delete the class

    Class:selected

    Selection type: jQuery Selector

    jQuery Selector:.apexir_WORKSHEET_ICONS a

    Seq: 20

    Action: Add the class

    Class:selected

    Selection type: trigger element

    Seq: 30

    Action: Set value

    Wait for result: Yes

    Type of value: Expression of JavaScript

    JavaScript expression:$(this.triggeringElement).attr('data-parent-id')

    Selection type: Agenda

    Point: P586_ID_PARENT

    Seq: 40

    Action: Discount

    Selection type: Region

    Region: results

    Seq:50

    Action: Show

    Selection type: Region

    Region: results

    Seq: 60

    Action: Cancel event

    Finally, add a style sheet to the Inline CSS property page. Initially, this hides the secondary report and select the parent clicked icon:

    #results {
      display: none;
    }
    #icons .apexir_WORKSHEET_ICONS a {
      border: 1px solid transparent;
      border-radius: 3px;
      padding: 0.8em 0 0.5em;
    }
      #icons .apexir_WORKSHEET_ICONS a.selected {
        border-color: #6a9cda;
        background-color: #bbd1ec;
        transition: 0.6s;
      }

    However, after all it is the question of why you use an interactive report here if you turned off all the features of the IR? A dynamic list with a custom template box seems to be more applicable?

    Welcome to the forum: read the FAQ and the forum threads sticky (if you have not already done so) and update your profile with a real handle instead of '958442 '.

    When you have a problem, you will get an answer faster, more efficient including information as much information as possible from the outset. This should include:

  • Full version of APEX
  • Complete operating system DB, version, edition, host
  • Architecture of Web server (EPG, SST or APEX listener/host operating system)
  • Browser (s) and version (s) used
  • Theme
  • Model (s)
  • Region/section type (s) (particularly as to distinguish if a 'report' is a standard report, an interactive report, or indeed a 'update report' (i.e. a tabular presentation))

    With APEX, we also had the chance to have a great resource in apex.oracle.com where we can reproduce and share problems. Reproduce things is the best way to solve most of the questions, particularly those relating to the layout and Visual formatting. If you expect a detailed response it is appropriate that you take on an important part of the effort by getting as much as possible with an example of the problem on apex.oracle.com before asking for help on specific issues, then we can see firsthand.

    It also helps explain what you tried (even better, Show us what you have tried on apex.oracle.com).

    You can view the IR to the default icon via a dynamic Action: + {: identifier of the thread = 2187972} + (obviously using "ICON" rather than "RETAIL"...)

    However, do you really intend to make use of other interactive report features? It seems that the report display is controlled by custom buttons, rather than shares of IR (filters, control breaks etc.). If this is the case then a standard report based on a custom template may be a better option than to try to work around all that offer interactive reports.

  • Using ROWNUM with interactive report

    Hi guys,.

    I want to use #ROWNUM # to add the attribute 'id' to 'tr elements '. I can do that for classical report by changing the template. But I can't change the model for IR (interactive report). I add < tr #HIGHLIGHT_ROW id # = "#ROWNUM #" > to the report model classic section 'before each Row.
    But I can't do that for IR. You have an idea?

    Kind regards.

    You don't really have the code. From your code, it seems as the parameter 'el' is the DOM of your TR element, and therefor there is no need your long selector chain.
    Just do the DOM element in a jquery object and start from there:

  • Interactive reports - width of filter for the column title dialog

    Hello

    I have a question about interactive reports and filter functionality, you can use column headers in the apex 4.0.2.00.07.

    When I click on a column header in my interactive report, I will be presented with a list of possible filter values for this column. Unfortunately this filter dialogue seems to have a fixed width and be independent of the overall column width. Columns with entries of data any longer, I can't see the entire string.

    Is it possible to change the width of the dialog, for example the s.t. it automatically adapts to the width of the selected column? But it would be useful even if I could apply the same width for all columns in a report.

  • Send the implicit parameter to interactive report

    Hello developers,
    I have a how to question: I automatically want the value of a parameter implicit to interactive reports, for example, a filter column equal with values and view records on this basis. Also for reports display buttons, I need to display the only detail view option, without showing the search bar.
    If you know of examples, I apreciate if you let me know.
    Thank you.

    Hello

    You like to 'manage' the layout of the page, I suggest you actually my third solution - custom report template - as this allows available the page exactly as you wish.

    That's what I did on this page: http://apex.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=267:230

    The SQL code of this report is:

    SELECT EMPNO,
    ENAME,
    HIREDATE,
    DEPTNO,
    JOB,
    MGR,
    SAL,
    COMM
    FROM EMP
    ORDER BY UPPER(ENAME)

    Note that there are 8 columns.

    Then, I went the components shared, models and you click Create. I made the following adjustments/selections:

    Model type: report

    Create the model: from scratch

    Model name: used alone
    Template class: Custom 1
    Model type: named column (model line)

    That sets up a basic model. When it was created, scroll down to the new model in the list and click the name to edit it. Now, enter the following code in the settings:

    Fourth parameter model 1:

    <tr><td colspan="2" style="font-weight:bold; background-color:lightblue;">Personal Information:</td></tr>
    <tr><td><b>Employee Number:</b></td><td>#1#</td></tr>
    <tr><td><b>Name:</b></td><td>#2#</td></tr>
    <tr><td><b>Hired on:</b></td><td>#3#</td></tr>
    <tr><td colspan="2" style="font-weight:bold; background-color:lightblue;">Department Information:</td></tr>
    <tr><td><b>Department:</b></td><td>#4#</td></tr>
    <tr><td><b>Role:</b></td><td>#5#</td></tr>
    <tr><td><b>Manager:</b></td><td>#6#</td></tr>
    <tr><td colspan="2" style="font-weight:bold; background-color:lightblue;"><b>Salary Information:</b></td></tr>
    <tr><td><b>Basic Salary:</b></td><td>#7#</td></tr>
    <tr><td><b>Commission:</b></td><td>#8#</td></tr>

    Setting lines before:

    <table>
    <col style="width:250px;">
    <col style="width:250px;">

    After adjustment of ranks:

    <tr><td colspan="2">#PAGINATION#</td></tr>
    </table>

    Next Page template parameter:

    <a href="#LINK#" class="t18pagination">#PAGINATION_NEXT# ></a>

    Previous Page template parameter:

    <a href="#LINK#" class="t18pagination">< #PAGINATION_PREVIOUS#</a>

    Following the Template value setting:

    <a href="#LINK#" class="t18pagination">#PAGINATION_NEXT_SET# >></a>

    Previous value Template setting:

    <a href="#LINK#" class="t18pagination"><< #PAGINATION_PREVIOUS_SET#</a>

    Note that under the line model 1, I used #1 #, 2 # #, 3 # etc. They focus on the numbers in the column in the SQL statement - I have 8 columns, so used #1 # to #8 # position where I want the values to be. Everything in the scene is available the report - you can use what is layout you like. The only requirement is that the #PAGINATION # in the middle of the lines should be in a table.

    Now update your report in order to use the new model and to set the number of rows to 1 so that you see only one record at a time

  • Manual in the form of interactive reports generation

    Dear All;
    I used the following statement to generate a tabular presentation in an interactive report region;
    SELECT
    ID NO.,
    apex_item. Text (1, C1, 3, 4, ' f01_ #ROWNUM #') C1
    from test_table

    The number of items in the display depends on the number of lines in test_table. However, I'm unable to make reference to each cell in the form. It turns out that apex uses the same id for each row (f01_ #ROWNUM #) in the generated source code and does not substitute rownum for the line number (for example, f01_1 for the first row, f01_2 for the second line generated in a normal report template). Y at - it something I'm doing wrong or is this a bug? I'm running on apex 4.0.1

    Any help will be much appreviated.
