  ^ Law. Fixed layout EPUB is currently the best option for InDesign from interactive content for the iPad.

  Interactive PDF is possible but very limited, even if Adobe Reader is used, especially if we consider a number any readers PDF non-spec your audience can run.

• size_t numerical control by GUI

  I'm getting some CVI behaviors for 32-bit application and 64-bit. Specific, I want to build the application so that I only need re-compilation for each output of 32-bit or 64-bit. One of them uses integers signed and not signed in entrance and exits in the GUI. I would like to first of all operating system data type directly in the GUI, but ssize_t and size_t types are not available in the interactive tools. So I create a GUI for 32 - bit
  -using as digital input (hot)
  -using digital as outputs unsignedInt (indicator)

  After the loading of the GUI depending on the hand, I change the attributes of data type control:
  -the program "recall" function Committee dependent integers from the OS as option
  -SetCtrlAttribute (mainp, PANEL_INPUTVALUE, ATTR_DATA_TYPE, VAL_SSIZE_T);
  -SetCtrlAttribute (mainp, PANEL_OUTPUTVALUE_1, ATTR_DATA_TYPE, VAL_SIZE_T);
  -SetCtrlAttribute (mainp, PANEL_OUTPUTVALUE_2, ATTR_DATA_TYPE, VAL_SIZE_T);
  I get no error in compilation. As expected, nothing really changes for 32-bit debugging i.e. or errors. And when running 64-bit debugging it starts also without mistakes (obvious). And it goes beyond the limit of 32-bit of 2 ^ 31.

  Now, I try an alternative: I set the GUI for 64 - bit with example data types int64 and unsigned int64. When data types are changed after the loading of the IUR depending on the hand, I get no fatal errors:
  -For the first line for the digital input: the attribute passed is not valid (error - 46).
  -For the second and third lines for outputs digital: invalid control ID (error - 13).
  - And subsequently, all three figures disappeared from the GUI.
  These error happens when I run it in 32-bit as 64-bit.

  The disappearance of the controls look like somewhat like explained before. However, the GUI is new and build CVI2010.

  Hi Jos,

  The runtime error is caused by the fact that these controls do not exist in the expert group. You can see more clearly, what happens if, after you save the file, you close the window, and then reload the file. You will notice that the two controls will be missing.

  Controls are not saved when using the 64-bit data types is the IUR is configured to use the CVI 8.1 format. You can see in the lower right window of the user interface editor. Because 64-bit in the user interface controls data types were not been introduced prior to version 8.5, these controls cannot be included in a 8.1 UIR.

  We have already identified this scenario as a major flaw in usability: when you save the IUR in an older format, the CVI should show you a warning telling you all the controls or other features, that were not saved after save in the old format. This has been fixed in a future version of the CVI, but, until then, it's something you have to look out for.

  To save the file to the CVI 2010 format, you must only select file > save as... and select 2010 than the version in the list "Save as type".

• LeCroy Waverunner 640Zi - Data Acquisition

  Hello... I'm trying to set up my oscilloscope waverunner with LabVIEW SignalExpress for data acquisition.

  I took the steps so far:

  1 pulse generator hooked to scope of signal generation

  2 USB scope to the installed computer with LabView

  3 downloaded lecroyscope driver 3.2.9 - x 64

  I turn on the scope and plug in the USB to the computer and SignalExpress begins.

  a. start by using data acquisition

  b. Add step/aquire signal / IVI aquire / IVI brought aquire

  c. create new IVI session... resources descriptor (I choose my USB device ' USB0::0x05FF:0 x 1023: 2812N61507:INSTR '), I select the right driver (lcscope), and I do not click enable simulation data, press ok
  d. I still receive configuration errors

  e. did the research... some forum said goto MAX, find drivers and uncheck the Cache and the exchange of check

  f. attempt to initialize... always get config errors.

  g. return to MAX... change to simulate with specific driver.

  h. initialization works... NO errors, BUT no data are acquired.

  Help, please!

  Sorry to jump in if I was out of the country for a while and am still catching things in my office.

  I think you are looking for someone to say yes, "you can connect to the scope with NOR-MAX and VISA, and here's how interactive tool do"

  A few things:

  LabVIEW for XStream extended driver is the right one.  It works with all the TeledyneLeCroy Windows based scopes.

  As I see has already been noted. (I'll give Kudos soon), the scope of application must be configured to use interface USBTMC.  To do this, go to the drop down Utitlites on the scope menu and select "utilities configuration... '. "in the tabs that appear at the bottom of the screen, select the 'Remote' tab and make sure that the interface type is set to USBTMC.  This will also show you the VISA resource (I see it in the title of the image of VISA interactive tool indicated in a previous post).

  Once this field is selected, the PC should detect the USB connection and install the device. (you can see in your device manager as a Test of USB and the measurement device):

  

  Once this is done, you can then enter the NOT-MAX and it will detect and display resources.  You can now communicate with the device:

  Hi, I have a new driver for labview programming and connections using ethernet cable.
   
  I use the driver for labview 2012 for lecroy wave series, and the model I use is as the title.
  I keep the error timeout of the 'expectation' attached Subvi. I don't know what causes it.

  Connection could be a problem, but I tested it in the test as attached Panel and it seems OK. (I use a connection LXI, I tried to use the TCIP connection, but it couldn't work)

  Also, I got your message from privat but will post it here for other institutions.

  You are already connected to the scope.  You have found an error of the VI of WAIT timeout.

  The VI queries one registry to see when data are available for you to read.  If the bit is not set within the deadline set on the buckle, it generates the error.

  The scope has the arm, you see the event trigger, then process and visualize the wave before data can be read from it.

  I use the WAITING; * MUTUAL FUND? the method that is described at the bottom of page 29.

  You mentioned that you use LXI because ACIP did not work.

  ACIP work of LabVIEW, it does no more than the interactive tool of NI-VISA. (This has stopped working when NEITHER changed the GUI shortly after the introduction of the 64-bit versions of LabVIEW).

  We are working on a solution to merge the files into a single PDF.

  There are a few available alternatives to fill the need such as Merge PDF files in ABAP. RCS

  But unfortunately other solutions are not very good optimized solution, according to the observations, there is a high use of material resources.

  It seems Adobe Acrobat also provide the ability to merge multiple pdf files.

  Does anyone have an experience that what would be the needs of the command-line to examine if the solution triggered by end of SAP ECC ABAP.

  Adobe Acrobat is an interactive tool, not a license for the server. Consider the Adobe PDF Library licensed from DataLogics.

  As a general rule, no. I can't think of the panels, or interactive tools provided by a plug-in can interact with. If you want a version modified to a tool or a Panel, you must re-implement existing functionality (which may not be a real group).

  I think that Adobe deliberately so that they are free to change or re-implement tools completely between versions.

• Cannot consolidate somehow

  I have 8 virtual machines on a host vSphere 6 which has a few delta laying all about files, and I can't delete them.

  I think it's because I used Acronis backup for VMware and does not constantly creating delta files and not delete them.

  Now we're heading Veeam Backup & Replication and I can't make backups on 8 VMs on this specific host Acronis fucked up.

  The 'consolidation' is grayed out in the web client. I can click on it if I use the old VMware vSphere Client for desktop, but nothing happens. He says only: "finished" after a few seconds.

  If I run "vim-cmd vmsvc/snapshot.removeall [VMID]' I just get"delete all snapshots:"and nothing else.

  How can I get rid of these? I really need to make backups as soon as I can and it is not help me at all.

  I found a solution for this.

  I got an iso file specified in all the CD-ROMs of VMs, although it was not connected. The iso file has been on an NFS share - which has been disconnected.

  For some reason, I couldn't get it to connect again and I couldn't remove it either as the VMs system was used.

  On some virtual machines I use the desktop client vSphere to remove it but most VMs showed the CD-ROM as "limited" and I couldn't change the settings.

  I could not make changes in the Web Client like records where all messed up with the shots, so I couldn't save.

  Then I thought I could use "Install Vmware Tools" to mount this iso file instead (Upgrade to interactive tools). When I did that I could create a snapshot successfully and open the Snapshot Manager and 'clear all'.

  I had at the end of the installation of Vmware tools after snapshots then removed for the next VM to make an instant hit for some reason any.

  I have 4 VMs more to go, but so far it works.

  I hope that someone else will find this post useful.

  Acrobat is an interactive tool, with very low volume automation tools. Your expectations are thousands of times too high. You are looking for a tool designed for industrial use of volume. These tools are often not user interface, maybe just a command line.

• Limits on number of files with OCR

  I'm trying to convert the 14 000 + pdf files scanned in a repertoire of rock, so that they can be searched.

  I use Acrobat Pro XI.  When I select the folder to add the files from, after a certain time to blow, the window displays a list of files and said "Please delete files problem first."  However, the button Delete is not activated.  It seems that it is locked.  I have the following questions.

  1. Is there a way I can determine what the problem is with the files?
  2. Is there a way I can get a list of files problem?
  3. How can I get rid of the problem files?  The OK button and delete files buttons are the two people with reduced mobility.
  4. I would like to move all the files that meet certain search criteria in a different directory.  Is this possible with Adobe?
