Interactive videos

I'm interested in making videos interactive and their distribution on different platforms (download of the computer, tablets, smartphones). What software package would be better for me? Would have an interactive video created with the package works on all adobe operating systems?

If you want a video that changes depending on user interaction, you use Flash Professional. You can use After Effects to create component movies that you assemble in Flash Professional.

    Hello

    I'm looking to create an interactive video that will run on a single computer, locally.   The video itself is composed of a series of short videos, which can be implemented through keystrokes.

    That is to say. Click on number 1 on the keyboard to find video 1 click 2 to find 2 of the videos etc... There are 5 videos in total.  Audio sync is important and the videos should run full screen without control.

    There may be a few extra flash animation superimposed bits, which can also be high with strikes.  But for the moment I focus just on how the different videos to load up.

    What is the best way to go about this?  I want she runs as an application and will only run on a mac.  Should I publish in Adobe Air?

    I've embedded a video in a clip and placed it in my calendar, when I export as a swf, the film loads, but when I publish under the name Air it does not at all.

    It is true that I have not used correctly Flash since CS4 and I looked online for solutions, but most of the questions and answers refer to the publication on the web or use multiple apps.  The thing I want to create is only for a person to use, on a single machine...

    Answers, advice or further reading would be much appreciated.

    Thank you

    1 - link the CSM library in ac3 (as link)

    2. create a new movie clip

    3 - Add the keyboard on stage event listener:

    Code:

    var vid_mc:MovieClip = new MovieClip();

    stage.addEventListener (KeyboardEvent.KEY_UP, keyUp);

    function keyUp(e:KeyboardEvent):void {}

    If (vid_mc.stage)

    {

    removeChild (vid_mc);

    }

    If (e.keyCode == 49) //1

    {

    vid_mc = new video1() / / use the binding of the first video

    }

    Else if (e.keyCode == 50) //2

    {

    vid_mc = new video2();

    vid_mc.x =

    }

    addChild (vid_mc)

    };

    Publish the project as a .dmg file > go to the commands menu > export as projector

    You must have different video clips and inserting question slides between the video clips which are each on a slide.

  • Interactive video playback problem

    CP8.0.1.242. I have interactive video across multiple slides. When the user replays (via a button at the end that refers to the first slide of video), they play back fine with all the buttons work EXCEPT at the end (of the buttons whose associated actions adv illustrating the legends of your comments. They are initially hidden by another 'press enter' adv action). On replay, just to know the last 3 seconds and going on to the next video, where everything still works very well until the end. What is different about replay?

    OK, I thought about it. I didn't know slides 'memory' of advanced actions which started you when you were on the slide, the first time. A combination of that and my action adv "on entrance" seems to be the problem. I added a few items to the "entry" and it seems to behave normally now.

  • Creating an interactive video to compatible HTML5.

    Hello

    I've seen a few sites that offer interactive video (wirewax.com flixmaster.com) where you can add hotspots\buttons which place the cursor on any object on the screen (fully verified), when you click on these may present additional information on this object\ or take you to another part of the video.

    How this can be created without using the Flash? For the race for example on an iPad or a non-active flash tablets\platforms?

  • Interactive video elements

    Hello

    I want to do what follows with captivate, but has not found a way til now:

    I want to make the video with interactive elements. The video must be played in full format and at some points, interactive elements should appear on the videoframe.

    For example:

    At some point it should be several clickable buttons. Each button must lead to another element of additional content.

    As in this example (buttons in the upper left corner)

    Zwischenablage02.jpg

    Click on a button opens a Textbox on the videoframe. The video must stop til the user clicks on the text box. Then the text box should disappear and the video continues.

    Other buttons should work the same way - with photographs and graphics, or a second video as content.

    Here an example with the graphic content - video must stop when the graph is opened (by clicking on the graphic button in the top row icon) and click on the graph, the graph must disappear and the video continues:

    Zwischenablage01.jpg

    Til now, I discovered, that objects can be displayed at a certain time, but not during an arrested video til the object is clicked again...

    Maybe someone can help me.

    Adobe @: if it does not really captivate 5.5, maybe in captivate 6?

    Thank you and best regards

    Markus

    Hi Markus,.

    I tried to create a test project.

    I inserted a slide video, image and a button on the slide.

    I created an advanced - action "put to death".

    How to create progress to action: Please check http://help.adobe.com/en_US/captivate/cp/using/WS5b3ccc516d4fbf351e63e3d119e9581fd8-8000.h tml

    -Click the Project menu, and then select Advanced action

    -J' created a conditional action

    the 'IF' of the action part is

    and the ELSE part of the action is

    Save this action.

    I add the button action: "the action run advanced."

    This interrupts the reading for me and show the image. and if I click on the button again, it resumes playback and hides the image.

    Try this action on your computer.

    If you need more information, let me know.

  • Interactive video using Flash

    Hello, I would like to create an interface that would allow users to organize the reading order of several individual video clips. They could then play the video clips in the order in which they had chosen, one after the other.

    The next user could put in place the clips in a different order and play them in this sequence.

    Flash would allow me to do? It seems similar to playback of MP3s on shuffle mode, but instead of being random, the user chooses the order.

    Yes, flash can do, but if you want the choice of a user to assign a user on a different computer sees at a different time, you should also use server-side code.

  • Creating a pdf online, interactive video and editable fields with embedded/linked

    to work on the mac, pc, iPad and android - is Acrobat pro capable of this?

    Acrobat can add all of these things, but viewers on operating systems Mobile you mentioned may not support all these things. For example, Adobe Reader or iOS and Android have limited support to the forms and do not support JavaScript and do not support embedded video. Characteristic forms such as automatic formatting and calculation are implemented in JavaScript, so Adobe Reader has very limited support for that and nothing if the custom scripts are used. Some viewers no Adobe iOS have much better support for forms and even multimedia.

  • Interactive video content

    Hey guys,.

    1st post here, do not find the exact answer, I need to search google/forum.

    Basically, what I want to do, it's after playing / streaming video HD (online content), preload of the other two and after a choice is made, unload unwanted choice.

    The choice will be made thanks to a pair of button crash or a choice of animation.

    The problem is that I am new to Action Script/After effects/Streaming in general. Rest assured however, I have a background in programming, will probably understand the steps in the Action script so.

    The key is that the level 2 videos are preloaded to be played perfectly against the first and obviously want to free the memory used for unwanted choice.

    I will be plugged other videos further along, but think an example of how to do this should be enough in the development of the latter.

    Advice on where to start would be great...

    All the best,

    Robsta

    P.S. Put it in the forums Flash and After Effects, also uncertain as to the question. Apologies in advance for the bad news, let me know if any place. You can also find that I am in the wrong section of the Flash forums, so please let me know here too, as I'm new to Flash and don't know not all components.

    I got my starting a number of years, before AS3 and don't make the switch yet... but for someone starting out, I would definitely recommend using AS3.

    But I really can't be a great help... to show you that some things can be done in Flash (and my examples are all AS2).

    The reason why I ask webcast is because you have to deal with video bitrate and different Internet connection download speeds. You will need to encode the video with a good flow and format with several videos and webcasting, to realize that your viewers do not have the speed of Internet connection in order to download several files at once. Here is a small review of another post:

    Video bitrate

    One of the principle of goal setting is to "begin with the end in mind". In this case, it will be very difficult to give good recommendations because the end is not defined. So I'll just make a few assumptions and you can correct me if necessary.
    First, I'll assume that you convert Flash, whether you want to broadcast this video on the Internet. If that's true, then going to make some assumptions about your potential viewers Internet connection download speeds. Let's just say that most have at least a 1.5 MB connection or faster.
    OK, that would mean that a video bitrate of half that generally provide a video download that is not interupped by the buffering (most of the time anyway). So assuming a video bitrate of 750 kbps, what would be the optimal display size?
    Before decide us, here's a little info on the bitrate. To read more high quality, the bitrate of the video is directly related to the size of the screen. In other words, more display, incoming data more are needed to correctly display the video. Think of bitrate in terms of a can of paint. If you have 1 quart of paint, you might be able to do a very nice job on an area of 32 X 24 feet. But if you try to stretch the same amount of paint on a surface area of 64 X 48 feet, the coverage is not as good and you get mediocre results.
    Similarly, a video display to 640 X 480 pixels will require 4 times the baud rate as a video displayed at 320 X 240 pixels to produce the same quality. Thus, for example, a video with a speed of 100 kbps, 160 X 120 displayed will produce the same quality results as a video with a bitrate of 1600 kb/s is displayed in 640 X 480.
    So, to sum it all, 750 Kbps, even up to 1000 kbps video rates can usually get delivered high-speed Internet on most connections. Higher rates may work for connections very fast but will cause problems for viewers with slower connections. Video display size has a direct impact on the final quality. In the range of 750 to 1000 Kbps, display size should be maintained around 450 or 500 width max (and whatever the height proportions claims). Yes it can be displayed larger, but the quality will suffer.
    Sounds like the audio settings are fine, especially for delivery on the Internet.
    Regarding the framerate, maintain the framerate video original raw for best results. Therefore, if the clip was shot at 24 frames per second, let him.
    In regards to video converters, you have the Flash 8 Video Converter? It works very well for the video to be delivered over the Internet. Don't forget, you're taking a Cadillac of video (h.264 HD) version and cram into a Chevy body so he can work on the Internet.

    I feel that when you have done this project, you'll be the expert!

  • Button on a video / interactive

    Hi, I would like to know if it is possaible to put the button at the end of a clip.

    It is an interactive video where you will have the choice to go to A or B (next clip)

    but I want the music to play in the background.

    Any advice would be very well been test and research of every day.

    Thanks in advance

    Trevor

    The method I described would use a clip/movie as you no end. The film would end, run his end action, go to a menu with the button. That menu would play a clip as the substance of the application and this clip would be the last x seconds of your original clip. You can make the start menu with the film without the button, and the buttons are displayed. so, you could make the point when you switch from the movie timeline background of menu/movement at a more appropriate time.

    I don't like this method, because a short break before the menu appears animated.

    (And my main answer is 'no', you can not do this.)

    If your clips are very short, you could simply do the backgrounds of movement and let the button where you want. (the point of the line). But these menus/assets have a maximum of 1 gig per DVD.

  • Workflow and INTERACTIVE TOUCH - HTML 5 - packaging

    Dear community,

    We are relatively new to animate CC and think of the tool to create an interactive experience for TV large touchscreen.

    (TV screen / kiosk mode / map - tap interaction + videos)

    Some of you have experience producing this kind of experience in HTML5 with Adobe animate CC or a similar earlier version of the ADOBE Suite.

    We are a team of Motion Designers / graphic artists / video Editors / editors but not hard - code this is why the road animate CC seems to well fit our workflow.

    Thank you for your advice,

    Best,

    Charly

    For mobile applications and kiosk facilities, you should use ActionScript 3 and not HTML5. The coding is still not too difficult, and you would not be limited to what HTML5 can do.

    If you have other reasons to use HTML5, you can either run in a browser that can do a booth of fashion, or you could do a Mac/Windows overflows that had a StageWebView in it, in order to show web content.

    I did a lot of kiosks and CD-ROM, but all the kiosks were made with Adobe Director, which is always a good choice for booth work, especially if the kiosk has to interface with external hardware.

    Adobe Director

    The main problem with the film's Director, is that its development has slowed to a crawl. There are updates of the plugin now and then, but no new version of the tool of creation in three years.

  • Is it possible to loop video 8 Captivate?

    I leaned on the events of time based in 8 Captivate and from what I can tell Captivate does not have to be triggered by the chronology of the actions (other than on enter and exit) but I would really like a video loop. Does perform a work around to make the audio loop?

    There are two ways to implement video in Captivate - "slide" or "video event.

    Video slide puts the video on the timeline and extends the timeline for the duration of the video, so you can include events scripted with this method:

    Interactive video in Adobe Captivate 8 | e Learning, Chief

    BUT you can't put in a loop, without CP reading bar/scrubber or otherwise which dates back to the front of the chronology and restart.

    Video event, however, is independent of the timeline, and I'm sure that has a loop option:

    Adobe Captivate help | Event video

    Although I have not tried myself (search the page for 'loop')...

    , and if it does not work as it should, the downside is, indeed, you can't time events specifically that reading is independent of the timeline.

  • Video game after export Epub or pdf

    Really need help here!

    I did a project ebook with Indesign CS6 and plans to put some interactive videos that can be played in the ebook. However, after that I followed all the instructions online to place the video content in indesign and export as pdf interactive or the Epub format, the video, I placed cannot be read and even show on Epub file.

    Could someone help me solve this kind of situation? Is there any setting I have to do and I have only not for the export of interactive video content?

    Thank you

    Here are my 2cents...

    I take your exported epub and try to load it on an iPad and see if you can see the video here.

    I read in the forums that ADE will not play videos right now because it's not epub compatible 3.0.

    Good luck.

  • Need advice to make a simple Flash video file. Trying to accomplish two things.

    I have some video files (.avi) that I'm trying to convert a Flash video format. I'm trying to export it to a Flash drive to be in a Powerpoint file. With that, I'm trying to accomplish two objectives:

    1. to have the small clip (15 s, 30 fps) constantly loop, like an animated .gif.

    2. allow the user to click on the video and made player slide left/right for ff / rew.

    The video itself is an animation of the turntable. One of our products makes a full 360 degrees turn. By allowing the user to capture and drag, it will simulate turning the model.

    So far, I have already achieved objective 1. I made a new Actionscript 3, any video file (embed flv in swf and play in timeline), and then made the video loop on the timeline. This seems to export properly, and video loop if necessary. The only thing I can't understand is how to "interactive" video and let the user drag left/right.

    For context, I have never used Flash before. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Essentially, it comes down to move the playback cursor in Flash based on the movement of the mouse. It certainly won't be smooth, however, you would need a clock to be responsible for moving your head to read and reverse space compression is very intensive CPU (reverse on the timeline). I would recommend having an upstream release and in advance of the video then you could return them, but if you're new to flash you are already in way over your head.

    Add a new layer and try to add this example script (or Download Source example here, registered in CS5):

    import flash.utils.Timer;

    import flash.events.TimerEvent;

    import flash.events.MouseEvent;

    Make sure that we don't raise this image twice

    If (! stage.hasEventListener (MouseEvent.MOUSE_DOWN))

    {

    stop the playhead

    Stop();

    set state (forward? back?)

    var movingForward:Boolean = true;

    var curFrame:int = 1;

    var mouseStartX:int; used later to determine the drag

    detect the click of the mouse and drag to the left or right

    stage.addEventListener (MouseEvent.MOUSE_DOWN, onMouseF);

    stage.addEventListener (MouseEvent.MOUSE_UP, onMouseF);

    create new timer to control the playback head, start it

    var phTimer:Timer = new Timer (33.0).

    phTimer.addEventListener (TimerEvent.TIMER, movePlayheadF);

    phTimer.start ();

    function to control the playback head

    function movePlayheadF(e:TimerEvent):void

    {

    curFrame += movingForward? 1:-1;

    validate the frame (60 total frames)

    If (curFrame > this.totalFrames) curFrame = 2;

    ElseIf (curFrame< 1)="" curframe="">

    Goto the next image

    this.gotoAndStop (curFrame);

    }

    function that controls the direction variable

    function onMouseF(e:MouseEvent):void

    {

    If (e.type is MouseEvent.MOUSE_DOWN)

    {

    the user began place start touching, record

    mouseStartX = int (stage.mouseX);

    }

    Else if (e.type == MouseEvent.MOUSE_UP)

    {

    user let the mouse go, determine the change in direction (by scanning stype)

    If (stage.mouseX > mouseStartX)

    {

    slipped right, move forward

    movingForward = true;

    trace ("move on now '");

    }

    ElseIf (stage.mouseX<>

    {

    crept to the left, move the rear

    movingForward = false;

    trace ("back up now '");

    }

    }

    }

    }

    It's pretty simple. In the link source of the example above, an object in the timeline (nice ugly red circle) is moving right plus 60 frames and then left on 60 images (120 total). Consider that your film.

    A clock at a speed of 33ms (30 fps). It's where he won't necessarily be too smooth with video. If you wear at 60 fps, then decrease the timer of the half (16.5ms), season to taste. Whenever the timer fires the playhead is moved, either forward or backward.

    For whether she should go forward or backward a simple variable (movingForward) keeps track of the last "swipe". The shot is simply captured when a user touches the screen (mouse/finger), moves in a direction and then leaves upward. If they moved to the left the direction will be reversed. If they moved to the right, it will move forward. This does not include nor this logic, but illustrates how you can watch the mouse for movement and 'do something' on this basis.

    A very simple validatior in the event timer function checks if the next image (in both directions) is valid and if it is not the case, it fixes it so that it remains within your length of video editing.

    Note there is a MOUSE_MOVE event you can try to hold on to who can literally let the user drag the video forward and back the amount, they drag their finger/cursor. Also if it is a kind of circular surface as a disc rotates, the direction of the user moving the mouse based on where they registration would change the direction in which they expect to move. Etc etc...

    Who should get your feet wet in how you should consider for your project.
