  Adobe has disabled the server activation for pre CS3 products a long time ago and that's why you are unable to activate your product. I can not to suggest what to do, but I don't know that CS2 owners with this problem can download a version specially created that doesn't require activation. To my knowledge, no such version exists for CS. If it was me, then as the real owner of the software and just unable to use it due to having no mechanism to activate, I download CS2 and use it until someone from Adobe told me to stop. It is a sensitive issue because the download site clearly indicates that there must be an existing CS2 owner. However, the url to the download was posted the pirate not many Adobe Web sites not as a way to free download the CS2. I imagine that there have been hundreds if not thousands of downloads from 2013 when it became first available and so far Adobe has not made any attempt to restrict the download to current owners of CS2. Their policy is quite clear if CS2 is not given away for free. Fortunately, I use CC2015, I can't make a call on it, but the URL is below if you want to move forward.

• Problem indexing and performance does not help

  I created a SQL view is basically simple, but I need to group data based on a value returned by a function. I think this slows down the performance. First, I added a normal index on it, then added that an index function but no help. I get the data I need, but it takes too much time. I hope someone can give me some ideas on how to optimize the performance of my SQL.
  
  The base table has 1318408 rows. I need to select only a few columns and group and count the rows based on a date value in a column. However, the date of the table contains only a weekend rental value and I need report of the neighborhoods. The report should as well a date and value of a text value for the quarter. So I created two functions that accept a date value and return a date value for the start date of the quarter and a text value for the quarter, that the date falls in respectively; my SQL is like this:

  You feel the change of context, where you constantly change between SQL and PL/SQL. That always takes time.

  A function-based index can help if you have referenced only functions in the WHERE clause. Given that you use in the SELECTION and GROUP BY clauses, it cannot help.

  What are the functions? Maybe you could calculate their in a subquery, with pure SQL expressions.

  From Oracle 11, you can have virtual columns that are computed when you INSERT or update each line and physically stored in the table.
  In previous versions of Oracle, you can get the same results with a materialized view, or a BEFORE INSERT trigger that calls the functions and meets the additional columns.

• Why the video service Win 8 Surface isn't there own interface instead of being called Xbox video?

  I tried to rent a movie, a Surface RT and the download has failed.  There is no way to go back and download the movie.  There was no fault on toward some sort of chat window.  The credit card has been charged BEFORE the download is complete. So I had to dispute the charge.  Worse still, I didn't have a movie to watch on a long plane ride.

  MSFT really need to UN-geek of the interface for the rental of movies and mark it as Win8 or surface video service.  Renting videos together on the Win 8 surface is very confusing and not very well thought out.

  We have developed a DLL to use.  Compile the DLL itself.  The DLL includes a function test.  The test function validates the functional capabilities of the DLL.  I followed the examples online, and I used the tool to import shared library in LabVIEW.  The screw created use the call library node.

  When I create a VI by calling the function in the DLL test customized by using the call library node the VI runs the test DLL function flawlessly.  I close the VI.  When I re - open the VI and run it, I get an error code of the DLL.  However, if I go on the schema and define the path of the DLL in the library call Configuration node once again the VI then runs the test DLL function perfectly again.

  I have set the path of the DLL in the library call Configuration node everytime I open the VI.  The examples that I downloaded from the community don't require this.  What could be the missing DLL?  What Miss me?

  I solved the problem.

  I had create the DLL by using the following steps for VC 6.0:

  1. new project

  2. Select the Appwizard (DLL) MFC

  3. Select the regular DLLS using the MFC shared DLLS

  4 Yes for source file comments

  5 finishing

  The DLL must be on the VI search path.  The easiest way was to have the DLL in the same directory as the VI.

• Disappointing performance of 10gbe - HELP!

  So, we have recently implemented a new ESX/iSCSI environment and we find that the performance degradation that we were in our 1gbe multichannel environment.

  We have 3 x Dell R910 servers with 2 x Intel Dual Port 82598EB 10 gb CX4 NIC each.

  Each of the servers are connected to a Force10 C300 switch. We use port 1 on each NETWORK card in each server iSCSI traffic and each of them is connected to a separate Force10 C300. The C300 are then cross connected.

  We have 2 x Dell Equallogic PS6510 tables are also connected to the two chassis C300.

  We have a separate vSwitch configured on each host and a wrench VMK for each physical iSCSI NIC we use extended frames and are capable of vmkping a jumbo to the portal framework and target each address on the without any problem.

  When running performance tests in redhat using dbench we see only around 550 MB/s of flow either directly to the vmdk local disk that is stored on a data store multi-channel alternating or using a software in Redhat iSCSI initiator also multipathing.

  We hung our old without comparison and in a similar configuration in the contrary case, we see a 630 mb/s compatible out of our ESX host using 4 x 1gbe between the host and the switch and 3 x 1 GbE to the PS5000.

  Then, with only 4 1gbe NIC host and 3 1gbe NIC on a table with 32 less readers that we are seeing an INCREASE of 80 MB/s in performance on our new hardware 10gbe... what gives?

  During the passage of the selection policy of Round Robin Fixed path on the data store see us speeds drop to nearly 130 MB/s

  I think that we must be missing some configuration step huge to see this terrible execution.

  Ideas?

  Have you considered that the bottleneck may not be network support?   What makes you sure that your storage system can provide more I/O as your Gigabit network delivered?

  Also, if you want higher levels of functionality, you can use the CodeSigningKey to do certain functions, classes, etc. limited. I use this to limit what applications can read data that is generated by my applications. The only thing I'd be suspicious of OS5.0 is (and I think that 4.7) If you place a CodeSigningKey on a file, even the operating system cannot read from the file and the default FileExplorer will often hang (sometimes mometarily... sometimes a few minutes) in a directory where it is a signed file.

  Yes... it's probably different than what I guessed. Normally, however, who comes from the web browser... not while performing a call... the steps that led to the receipt of this message would be so important to understand if it has nothing to do with your problem.
