Interfaces to standard applications Oracle PL/SQL

We have a few Oracle EBS Financials Interfaces, some of them important data from other legacy applications and others send data from Oracle Apps to existing systems.

Now I wan to see if Oracle ODI (or indeed no matter which component of middleware Oracle Fusion including BPEL, EBS) can subistitute these existing interfaces.

A leagcy systems is to be replaced by a new system and so any change in the data/database model. Now, we have to rewrite the code complete interface as well on the new system and also on the side of Oracle Apps. The current mode of communication between Oracle Apps and the old system is through DB Link and so these 2 systems are tightly coupled.
Now, in the advent of the substitution of the old system, it is originally a work any re-development next to oracle EBS so applications.

To avoid this kind of re-Pro-Design/re-code of future problems (when systems change), ODI can help in cost cuttings?

I just finished a project all EBS using ODI implement interfaces and there's a cutting expressive time cost of development and most importantly, change impact assessments once ODI draw each column (as source or target) through the whole of the project.

If good ODI architecture is deployed, it is possible to break the rules if necessary, and then just change the "connectors" for each model if they change, leaving the main intelligence in the Middle, there means that, in a process like the one described you, could be possible change only the code that connect to the model once it has been changed.

This is a very general explanation as soon as there are a lot of features to consider.

SQL exception while stretching, error object standard display - oracle.apps.per.selfservice.deployperson.PositionLovVO

When I extend the standard above mentioned display object, with a substituted view object, the region of lov throws a sql error.
I just added an extra column in the viewobject.
I also tried to extend the view object without adding additional columns to the query of the view object, and it always up with the exception of sql.

I've provided steps to reporduce and test cases.
