Intermittent problem Realtek ethernet driver

I have an office p6703w Pavilion with Windows 7hp, Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller.  Just got a new integrated modem/router to Comcast.  Wi - fi works very well on all devices.  Wired connection works fine on my laptop. Wired connection on the desktop shuts down intermittently for 3-5 seconds and then comes back.  You can see cycling on the icon.  It happens both when opening a new site or when it is idle.  Tried other cable, ports, etc. and almost excluded from each variable.  Latest version of the driver is installed, diagnosis say it works very well.  Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Hello

The USB/ethernet adapter works without problem.  I never got to the root of the problem driver Realtek.  Thanks for your help.

  • Having problems installing stylized Ethernet driver for HP Pavilion dv6-6c35dx

I just bought this laptop and put my licensed copy of WIndows 7 Ultimate 64 - bit edition on it. I downloaded the RaLink driver installation program for the local wireless network and it says that it supports RT5390, RT3592, RT3090 wireless LAN chips and which are integrated into the motherboard of the laptop. When I try to run the Setup program, the program runs and everything closes and a message appears saying that the program cannot be installed correctly. Just click that the program installed correctly. But when I check the Device Manager, it still mentions the network controller with an exclamation by it as if the drivers never. The Realtek drivers for the installed perfectly well wired Ethernet connection.

I made sure when I did a search for drivers on the HP site, I chose Windows 7 64-bit like the BONE of his choice. And in fact, it was the only choice available, then it is certainly qque I selected, so I should have wnet through the right path to find the correct drivers.

I tried also to extract the files from the installer of RaLink 802.11 b/g/n WiFi adapter and righ clicking on network adapater will open the exclamation and do a update driver and pointing to the file where I extracted the files, and it is said that cnanot WIndows find the drivers for this device. I even tried the option to picj a list of drivers already on the computer and I found the Ralink option (so, it seems, the instraller put the RaLink drivers in the Windows driver repository), but each of them I try in the list, it says that Windows cannot determine whether the driver is compatible with your hardware and ask if you want to install anyway. I go ahead and select Yes for each of them and they install, but none of them work meaning that the devicxe is now the name of this driver, but witgh an exclamation that she.

I even tried older versions of the driver and still the same issue. I also looked on the Internet for other versions of RaLink drivers, but none of them work.

I'm also not sure what RaLink WLAN chipset is integrated with this laptop the laptop didn't come with a manual and it doe onst say on the box, or downloaded manual what kind of WLAN adapoater is integrated into the motherboard. Is the 3090 RT, the RT 3592, or the RT5390, or something else.

I tried everything and nothing seems to work. Any ideas. Or is there anywhere I can find it files right driver for the chipset WIFI built into this laptop for Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

    Gretaly help appreciated.

    Hello:

You got the ' right but the manufacturer R bad.

You need Realtek WLAN driver (don't feel bad, I don't see it even listed on the support page and the driver of your laptop).

See if this one is for you. The ID of material you posted decoded to the Realtek RTL8188CE Wireless LAN 802.11b/g/n adapt.

  • Problem with the driver... Realtek PCIe Fe Family Controller

I have a Toshiba Satellite L505D-S5983 and I have a problem with the driver for Realtek PCIe Fe Family Controller. What should I do? Thanks for your help.

The program Driver Genius Professional are "junk" and must be avoided in most of the costs!   They will cause more problems than they find only the first available driver.  Most computer manufacturer can usually have 'rights' to customize pilots 'reference' for their offers of specific material.

If your Toshiba has been sold with Windows 7 "pre-installed" then Toshiba is "obliged" to ensure the correct drivers.  You should check with the website of Toshiba and the hardware specifications of your model.  Then you should be able to download the necessary drivers directly from Toshiba.

  • Equium P200: realtek ethernet adapter Linux installation error

I have an old Equium P200 - 1Ed, who started to play up.

When I try to install Linux, it gives me an error for realtek ethernet adapter and I studied the problem on the forums.

Apparently, my hard drive is old and decrepit.

I tried to reinstall Vista from the default Toshiba CD, just out of curiosity, and installed fine, except, seemed unwilling to connect internet.

Tried Linux, but still the same problem from realtek.

Apparently I can download the driver bios flash and try to reinstall the bios... it looks like my last hope.

Anyone know where I can get the bios driver for P200-1ED?

Updates to the BIOS, you can find on toshiba BIOS support page - http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_bios.jsp

To be honest I don't know if the BIOS update will help with the installation of Linux, but you can try it.

  • 450 HP: HP 450 Gen 2 Ethernet Driver missing / replaced by ISATAP Adapter After Windows Update

    Good afternoon

I'm a network administrator at a small not-for-profit organization and aired on a particular issue with our 450 HP Gen 2.  Using Windows Deployment Toolkit, I have an image clean Windows 7 with the applications we want to push on these machines and then followed with update driver using the HP software Assistant.  In general, everything works.  But every so often, a 450 HP decides to 'lose' it's network, which is replaced by up to three non-working ISATAP adapt - hidden driver.  With hidden devices turned off, the Device Manager shows three network wireless, but not ethernet connections.  In addition, the NIC itself is completely dark; no nice little green/yellow lights sparkle.

This was happening before with an image earlier established by my predecessor, and I discovered that this image was intended to HP 450 Gen1 and Gen2 not - even if the image has been labeled Gen2. Thought it was just a simple matter that the Gen1 image was not compatible with the Gen2 machines.  They would work for a little while, then break after a series of Windows updates.

So I created my own image, repeat the steps above and for a while thought that the problem has been resolved.  But I just fell on my first 'disappeared' ethernet driver scenario; Since users employing 450 HP are usually off site, they need of working machinery.  But I have not found anything in the forums or through google search to indicate exactly what causes the problem.

Currently, I use the HP of a DVD Software Wizard because the laptop has no ethernet connectivity to see if that solves it, but I'm interested to know what is causing this problem so I can avoid it in the future.  It's not good if users are bringing back machines to me who... was enough to say... do not work.

I look forward to your correspondence.

    Best regards

    Robert

Alrighty, I thought about it.  Essentially, (is no longer editable in the bios) LAN energy saving mode disables the NETWORK adapter, and once off, it will idle rest.  Therefore, your PC will not know to turn it on no matter how many times you restart or connect an ethernet.

    Here's the trick:

1 unplug the power to your laptop, remove the battery, wait about 1-2 minutes.

    2. connect ethernet port NIC, connect the a/c, insert the battery.  Starts.  You should see your NETWORK card light up.

    3. once in Windows, go to the Device Manager.  You will see that your Realtek NIC listed.  Go into properties, power options and uncheck the option that reads LAN for energy savings.

Problem solved.  I hope this helps the next guy.

    -Robert.

  • 4730 proBook s: 4730 s Notebook Ethernet driver Windows10

Since my update for Windows 10 laptop does see the ethernet port. I can't find the driver for Windows 10 on HP website, they only provide the drivers HP Travel HUB and LAN for Windows7 64 bit OS.

I really want to connect my laptop via cable point of access for much higher speeds in the bottom and the download, then...  Can someone tell me the right drivers/solution?

    Hello:

Your laptop comes with a Realtek gigabit ethernet card.

See page 9 of the quickspecs at the link below.

    http://WWW8.HP.com/h20195/v2/getpdf.aspx/c04288440.PDF?ver=25

In as much as there is no ethernet Realtek card listed at all under this article means there is a strange problem which is going to be difficult to understand.

It is not the ethernet driver.

Was the ethernet port working correctly before installing the W10?

You have the HP Connection Manager software installed before upgrading to W10?

In the BIOS is the active LAN/WLAN change?

If changing the LAN/WLAN is enabled, set the parameter to disabled and reboot the PC and see if the ethernet adapter shows.
