Internet does not work (2 years)
Ok. So my PC at home (Acer Aspire M5100) had no problem until about 2 years ago. One day, apparently out of no where, the internet just stopped working. There is no internet connection (VPN only), and when I click on the diagnosis he tells me to plug in the power cord. The power cord is plugged, and make sure that it is. It wasn't really a problem in the past because I also had a laptop, but now that my cell phone is broken and I can't afford to replace it, I need a computer. I have not really tried a lot, but I tried to install the drivers (lan & modem, I don't know much about this type of computer, so I tried just anything). I can reformat if necessary, but I am currently in the middle of the backup of my important files, and I don't have enough at the end of the CD. I'll buy more tomorrow, so in the meantime, if there is a solution which restart me my computer/reformatting requires it I can't do it. I don't really know what I can say. Please help me, because this will become a major problem for me and I thank you.
Edit: I don't know if it's a virus, but I don't think it is.

Internet worked well until I reinstalled windows vista 64 bit on my Dell laptop, now my Internet does not work. Went into Device Manager and there is no network adapter. I tried to reinstall the driver that came with my laptop disk but it doesn't seem to work, says that I need an updated driver. I don't know what else to do, I have to install a new driver from the Internet? Ugh becomes very frustrated!
http://support.Dell.com/support/downloads/index.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=Gen
Go to the website of the manufacturer of your computer/laptop > drivers and downloads Section > key in your model number > look for the latest Vista drivers > download/install them.
The computer you are using now if you have an Internet connection with the other > download / save drivers > copy them into Flash Drive > transfer / install on another computer/laptop.
See you soon.

Internet does not work on Windows 7, no drivers for the Wifi and LAN
Original title: Windows 7
I used to have Windows 8 on my laptop. Well, so I've updated for Windows 10. Config my laptop wasn't as good, so it's slow. Recently, I installed Windows 7 (as it is known for the performance) somehow, the internet does not work. Missing the drivers for the wifi and lan. What should I do?
Well, as my readers usb and touch screen no longer work.
You have installed Windows 7 on a machine that is preinstalled with Windows 8, without checking first if the computer manufacturer supported and provided Windows 7 drivers for it.
If does not support or provide Windows 7 drivers for this, you should never have installed Windows 7 on this computer Windows 8 and we cannot help you.

BlackBerry Smartphones Internet does not work in CAPE VERDE on Black Berry
Hello
I don't know why, but the internet does not work with the mobile operator in Cape Verde, but works with a wi - fi connection.
The internet provider said that they cannot set up internet for black berries.
Ialso can not install Viber, because the world of blackberry doesn't work here...
Thanks for your help
Hello and welcome to the community!
Please clarify... temporarily traveling there or you live there? If you are traveling temporarily, you use your home SIM or a local SIM?
If you use a local SIM card, then the answer is perhaps that it is just not possible. Each carrier must choose whether they will support devices BB... If the carrier chooses not to, there is nothing you can do. BBs legacy force the carrier to specifically support BBs, so that your model BB specific number... If they do not, so it's nothing that you can do (well, you can get a device BB10, who does not have this requirement).
Good luck!

Looks like you have removed access to BlackBerry data in your downgrade.
I suggest you call your mobile to the top and knowledge services provider if new BLACKBERRY data plan, as any generic plan will not work on a BlackBerry.

Recovery of the Internet does not work
Hello!
My computer (MacBook pro mid-2012)) for a while has a battery fault which means I just have it stationary for a year back. My friend who has the same computer had a drive cable hard failure so I thought she could get just mine and I just have my hard drive rather than in their own country, since it is already stopped, it is not really important for me. This is where the problems started.
My computer does not now anyway, whether it shows just the map of blinkning with a sign of the issue. No matter how many times I tried to boot into it, it does not work and I do not for the love of my life know what the * could be the problem? I tried all possible combinations of keyboard. Here, someone has ideas in what do I do now? The computer requires something any if it is default or not be plugged into the hard drive slot internal?
Thank you.

Wireless connects, but internet does not work
My wifi signal is strong. My computer says that it is connected. Diagnosis shows the signal is stable, but when I open a browser, it does not connect. It just seems to take forever, but nothing ever happens in Safari. Chrome has said, "there no internet connection. Your computer is offline. "and that Firefox says: 'server not found '.
I tried the Ethernet connection, but it's the same story. Computer indicates recognition signal, but it will never truly connect. It will connect in Safe Mode, however.
I don't know if this is related, but iTunes does not work either. I open and just get the reel spinning forever. It is said he is unresponsive, and I force quit.
Here is some information that might be useful:
-iPhones and MacBook in the House are fine to connect to Internet.
-My internet company just came and installed a new router/modem. We had a few problems before (this is why they came to reinstall the hardware), so I don't know if this has something to do with him or not.

wireless connected but internet does not work
Since yesterday my laptop has had problems connecting to the internet. It will say that it is connected to the internet but yet when I open a browser or any other program requiring internet, it does not work. However, when I use the same connection from another laptop, the internet works.
I tried to use the option diagnose & repair and he always tells me that everything is fine. I also tried to restart my laptop and check my firewall settings, which did not help either. any help would be greatly appreciated!
Hello
Turn off the router or the modem (unplug the power supply) - wait 3 minutes, then the power restore - restart the computer.
If necessary:
Two methods - I would try 1. first and use 2. only if necessary because with 2 it can come back.
1.
Your router could be suspicious here, you have successfully updated its firmware as a possible solution? And I would like to
Update your WiFi drivers on computers. How you are positioned in the router? Are there
obstacles in the path?Actually try updating your driver and disabling the network logon. If you usually use WiFi try a wire
and if you usually use a wire try WiFi. Update, one being not used 1.Control Panel - network - write down of the brand and the model of the Wifi - double click top - tab of the driver - write
version - click the driver update (cannot do something that MS is far behind the pilots of certification). Then
Right click on the Wifi device and UNINSTALL - Reboot - it will refresh the driver stack.Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.
http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/HT/driverdlmfgr.htmHow to install a device driver in Vista Device Manager
http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-Device-Manager-install-driver.htmlDownload - SAVE - go where you put it - right click – RUN AS ADMIN.
You can download several at once however restart after the installation of each of them.
After watching the system manufacturer, you can check the manufacturer of the device an even newer version. (The
manufacturer of system become your backup policies).Repeat for card (NIC) network and is a good time to get the other updated drivers as Vista like
updated drivers.I would also turn off auto update for the drivers. If the updates Windows suggests a just HIDE as they
are almost always old, and you can search drivers manually as needed. How to disable automatic driver Installation in Windows Vista - drivers

Make sure you know the details of connection to your router wireless and wired - SSID and password.
You lose connection when you do and have to redo your logon.
Control Panel - Network & Sharing Center - right, click Customize - page set of network locations.
lower left click on merge or delete network locations - REMOVE all instances of your network (and the
others you don't use anymore) - REBOOT. Start - Connect To log on to the network.-----------------------------------------------------

My wireless internet does not work to its maximum.
Hey, I recently bought a new laptop with Windows 7, and the wireless internet connection seems to work perfectly. But then I found that not quite like the itunes store, Skype and aim. It works only if I wiring. He never seems to be something wrong with just browse the internet. Please help, thanks.
Hello
As they work to wire and not wireless the choice more obvious is the WiFi driver and the
Logon network (security). Of course its possible the WiFi device does not work correctly.Rob Brown - MS MVP - Windows Desktop Experience: Bike - Mark Twain said it right.
