Internet Explorer is running

When I try to install the last update I received the same message that is running Internet Explorer - close to go forward. I can't find any instance of IE functioning so I can't close it and I can not install the lastes Flash.

I'm running Win7 and IE 11.

Any ideas?

Thanks PaulAD

I have the same problem when I try to copy the text, but all copies fine if I download the PDF file and open it with Adobe Acrobat/Adobe Reader. Try this if none of the cor - el or jscher2000 PDF viewers proposed work.

To do this there is a button at the top of the image that the document is in (it looks like a sheet of paper with an arrow above). Click here and you will be prompted to open the PDF file or save it. You can then choose to open it with Adobe Acrobat/Reader or save it in your file downloads, in which case you can open it by clicking the download button (the arrow at the top right of the default browser window) and select it from the menu. If you don't have Adobe Acrobat or Adobe reader, you can download Adobe Reader here.

  • Is it possible to install addblock more in internet explorer which runs on windows rt?

I just bought Surface RT a few months ago, and well, I want to browser without annoying adds especially with you tube videos it's always do role video pre during the first video you want to watch. Thus, addblock really helps a lot to get rid of this stuff, and I installed it inside my other laptops. So I tried installing AP for my Internet Explorer inside my Surface RT. Well, as we all know, RT was not able to install any ".exe" file, unless it comes to the Bank itself. Is it possible to install AP to my IE? Or if AP really not cannot be installed, are there any plug-ins addblock good enough in the store?

    Hello

There is no way to install on Windows RT .exe files. We can only install the Windows store apps in Windows RT. You can search and find out if there is any app in the store that would replace the application used to stop youtube adds.

  • How will I know if a running Instance of Internet Explorer 10 is 32-bit or 64-bit?

    Hello

I'm running Windows 8 Pro Upgrade of Windows 7 Ultimate.
My taskbar to desktop has two icons for Internet Explorer, it is labeled "Internet Explorer", the other is marked "Internet Explorer (64-bit)".
However, when I check the properties or the other of these two shortcuts, by clicking on the button 'Open file location' takes me to the name and the following path:
    "C:\Program may Explorer\iexplore.exe.
If I understand correctly, all the executables in the "C:\Program Files" are meant to be executable 64-bit, while all the executables in the folder "C:\Program Files (x 86)" are supposed to be 32-bit executables, so so that it would seem that both of these shortcuts are for 64-bit executables.
However, when I run Internet Explorer to one of these two shortcuts, by clicking on "help |" About Internet Explorer"gives me a pop-up dialog box that contains the following information:
    Internet Explore 10
    Version 10.0.9200.16384
    Versions of update: RTM (KB2718695)
    Product ID: 00150-20000-00003-AA459
"Install new versions automatically" is CHECKED
Copyright (C) 2012 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.
There is no mention of "64-bit" in Internet Explorer started from one of the two shortcuts.
Now, I just tried a little experiment and created two different shortcuts for Internet Explorer on the desktop of Windows 8.
I called the first of these shortcuts "Internet Explorer (32-bit)", and it's an explicit shortcut to:
    "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Internet.
I called the second of these shortcuts "Internet Explorer (64-bit)", and it's an explicit shortcut to:
    «C:\Program may Explorer\iexplore.exe.»
I then started Internet Explorer from the shortcut of "Internet Explorer (32-bit)", clicked on "help |" About Internet Explorer,"and got a dialog box containing information identical to the above information.
Then I took out the "32-bit" version, then began "64-bit".  By clicking on "help |" About Internet Explorer,"gave me exactly the same information again, with no mention of '64-bit' anywhere in the dialog box.
Does anyone have an explanation for this behavior?
Is this normal, or I found a problem
    ?
The reason I ask is that my program antivirus tech support site States that the latest version does support not entirely Windows 8 and some of Internet Explorer installed by the antivirus program add-ons don't work with the version of Internet Explorer 10 Windows 8, but others do not, but only in the 32-bit Internet Explorer version not the 64-bit version.
Is the antivirus program: Kaspersky PURE 2.0 v12.0.2.733, which is a version updated to make it at least partially compatible with Windows 8.  It is noted that a new version, Kaspersky PURE 3.0, updated in order to give all the features of Windows 8, it is not yet ready and should be published at the beginning of 2013.
Now, I'm having a problem with a particular module of Kaspersky PURE 2.0, which includes an Internet Explorer add-on, and who, according to Kaspersky Support, is supposed to be compatible with the 32-bit version of Internet Explorer 10 on Windows 8.  However, this module does not work, and I need to know what to say Support Kaspersky on my version of Internet Explorer, when the dialog box 'About' is to confuse me information.
That's why I need to know how to say definitively what version of Internet Explorer is running at any given time.
Thanks in advance for any help, advice or suggestions.

  • slow internet Explorer

Internet Explorer 10 runs extremely slow.  20-30 seconds for an update.  Opening tried IE without Add-ons and it works perfectly.  Then I disabled all add-ons to determine which was causing the problem, IE just returned to its slowness.  It seems to be an add-on problem but why not disable add we solve the problem?

    Hello tee12,

I see that you have problems with internet explore 10.

Have reset you the settings of internet explore? Here is a link that will help you to reset the settings of internet explore. This can help the operation of addition on the issue. Once you reset the settings disable the add-in that is causing the problem.

  • Error - Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and must close in Internet Explorer & jump - rises in Windows Explorer.

Original title: Windows/Internet Explorer / Data Execution Prevention.

I constantly receive pop-ups Windows and/or Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. Windows Explorer in particular sometimes will do every few seconds.  I also sometimes have a debugger of Dr. Watson popup that blocks everything on my computer.

I also get a pop-up Windows Data Execution Prevention indicating that Windows has closed this program to help protect my computer.

My icons on the desktop this process will sometimes disappear.  I am able to restore in the Manager of tasks by clicking on the following:

    "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Menu Démarrer\Programmes\Accessoires\Explorateur Explorer.lnk"

I can't go online most of the time.  Sometimes I'm able to sneak in a "back door" by clicking on a link in an email, but time is limited (from five minutes to five hours) until I started offshore.

    Please notify.

    This root killer Webroot suggested?

Are you going to provide the other requested information (requested) on your system and if not, why not?

Did you run the scans listed in my previous post and if not, why not?  I am reluctant to work on weird problems with XP if MBAM and SAS have not been executed.

So far, I never saw a Microsoft Support Engineer in these forums effectively resolve an error DEP in the 'right' way.  Sometimes, they have some things to try (how that works for you?), but you don't need methods to try, you will need to do things that solve your problem.

I doubt that you have a memory problem or disk - which is not what causes the DEP errors.

If you have made any exceptions DEP in XP to try and get your working papers, you must cancel all DEP exceptions to go forward.

If I've ever seen Windows Explorer crashing and DEP errors, here's what I've done to understand what is happening:

When the Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer) is wrong (especially when right click), begin to suspect third-party add-ons explore extension.

Those who would be the Explorer extensions that do not belong to Microsoft.  This means that extensions that you have added.  Solution Explorer extensions are generally well and installation of certain applications will install extensions from Explorer solutions for you, give you a choice and sometimes they can be added without your knowledge when you
    install new software.

Solution Explorer extensions are sometimes added as a new right-click option, you see on folders and files (like the scan of this file, open that file, play this song).

If there is something in particular that you do during exploration that you know will be the cause of the problem, which will help focus on the problem and the help that you suddenly know, when you have found and corrected.  If you can get there when you want it, make an adjustment and then there is no message the next time you don't do anything, you do, you have found and corrected.

First of all you need a way to see what modules explore you have installed now and a way to turn them off (not uninstall them) so you can understand that we are at the origin of the problem.  You can have a lot of extensions not installed Microsoft don't even know you about.

Download ShellExView here to see what Explorer extensions you have loaded:

    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/shexview.html

ShellExView does not install anything on your computer, simply of runs and displays.

After launching ShellExView, under Options, choose "Mark non-Microsoft Extensions" and extensions not Microsoft will be pink, clear, but on some systems which is a difficult color to see, so click on display, choose the columns and move the column Microsoft closer to the top, so you can see on your screen without having to scroll left and right.

Click on the column header for "Microsoft" sort display (by clicking on the column of Microsoft) if all non-Microsoft extensions (all the 'Our') are on top and easy to see.

Non-Microsoft extensions would be things you have added (non-Microsoft) and are what you should be suspect.

You can also Google the name of a suspect add-on and see if there is any success on the mistakes of the DEP and what other people have done about it.
    You can Google something like:

Explorer XP crashing (you must fill in the name of add your suspect on).

See what kind of search results hits you get and are looking for solutions or situations that sound like yours.

I'm not a defender of trial and error, but I can't think of another way to do...

Right click and disable the non Microsoft extensions one at a time (or maybe in groups of 3-5), keep a list, so you can enable them again later if you wish. The result of the change is immediate and no reboot is necessary.  Test your failure condition.  If the Explorer starts to behave, you will know that an extension of this group of 3-5 is the culprit in order to start to enable them one by one until the Explorer fails again.

If you recognize all the extensions that have been added or recently downloaded, start with these first.

Disabling the extension does not uninstall the extension - it is just disabled.

Disable them one at a time until your right click on do not generate an error, then restart and test again.  You have disabled the last extension would be suspicious.

You can also just disable all non-Microsoft extensions, restart and allow them one at a time until you find the one that generates the condition.

If you have a large number of extensions, you can disable them is small groups, 3-5 at a time instead of 1 at a time until your system starts to behave.  When it does not, you will know that the problem is one of the extensions of this small group and you can enable members of the Group at a time until the problem returns, then the problem is with the last extension that you enabled.

The hope is that you will find an extension that caused the error, and then you can figure out what on this subject - either uninstall it or see if you can get an update of the author of the extension of their web page.

I have not your problem, but I can when you toggle extensions, the extension is immediately disabled, so disable an extension does not seem to require a restart, but if you think that you have found the problem, I reboot and repeat the test in any case to be sure the problem disappeared.

If you post your non-Microsoft extensions list, maybe someone will recognize it as a potential problem.

If you find the offending extension that's the problem, please let us know what it is that I can add to my list.

If complains in Internet Explorer, run Internet Explorer with no Add-ons and see if you still have the problem.

If Internet Explorer then runs OK with no Add-ons, you can determine what add-on is the cause of the problem.

Fortunately, Windows has a built in option to run Internet Explorer with no Add - ons (imagine that).

To start Internet Explorer with no add-on, click on start, programs, System Tools, then choose:

    Internet Explorer (No Add-ons)

If you can't find that, click Start, run and enter in the box (or copy/beyond the next line):

    "C:\Program may Explorer\iexplore.exe"-extoff

Click OK to start IE with no Add - ons.

IE will launch with a message reminding you that it runs with no Add - ons and ask you to click on the button Home (do) and then you can visit the web pages where you might think that you will get a DEP error.  Pages may be different, but you want to see if you still get the DEP error message or not.  You can then activate the Add-ons one at a time until find you the one that is causing problems.

  • Impossible to download files from ANY browser, download "internet explore 6.0 + required.

I have Windows 7 64 bit and Internet Explore 9 installed, as well as Safari and Chrome.  The same message in all three browsers when I try to download from gaming sites. Above the box error message indicates "Internet Explore 6.0 + required. In the box it says that it detects a version 0.0.

    Hello

I understand that you are facing problems with downloading games.

I suggest using Internet Explorer and try the following steps to solve the problem.

    Method 1:

I suggest you to Internet Explorer (IE) run in mode without modules and check if it helps. To do so follow step 4 provided in the link below:

    2. set the parameters of security as below:

Internet the security level for this zone is set to medium-high
Intranet local, the security level for the Local intranet zone is set to medium
Trusted sites, the security level for trusted sites is set to medium

  • Why won't some of my running videos as they do in Internet Explorer?

Lots of videos from YouTube, Facebook and my Internet home page plays very jerky as I watch a movie of news in the 1920s. If I play the same video via Internet Explorer, all is well. What is the problem with Firefox? Only, this happened for a few weeks now. Thank you.

A quick check runs Firefox in Mode safe mode to see if an extension, theme, hardware acceleration, or one other assortment of settings are at fault. https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/troubleshoot-Firefox-issues-using-safe-mode

Since you list Youtube, the videos in question should be on HTML5, but a plugin check never goes bad: https://www.mozilla.org/en-GB/plugincheck/. (Note: plug-ins are not affected by Safe Mode)

If the problem persists even in Safe Mode and your plug-ins are up-to-date, then the following things that come to mind that would target Firefox are antivirus and malware.

Update graphics drivers is generally not a bad idea, but might be an unlikely solution since IE can play the content fine.
