  • Only a blank page shows when you open Internet Explorer after the start.

I'm starting to feel like an annoying uncle who comes to dinner too often, but I had another problem for you guys. Start goes normally, but when I click on the icon to start Internet Explorer, a blank page is displayed. At the top reads: "Documents and settings-all users.» "------Windows start menu-programs------startup------start" I ex it out, that is to say then returns.  When I left IE and it starts later, the page does not reappear. As I said, it seems that when I start the computer, and then open IE.  It is not in all programs - Start Menu.  I'm fresh out of virgins to sacrifice to the God of Microsoft, so what do I do?  I have a Dell Dimension 9150, with Windows XP, Service Pack 3.

I uninstalled the drivers, but the download and installation of the new are a huge problem for me. I know that pilots are Radon X 800 series.  Devices are 554F for the video card and 556F for the secondary graphics card. I visited the ADM/ATI website and tried to use the upload feature and automatic installation, but it did not show any available driver. I have spent more than two hours trying to understand how to find and download drivers, but not luck. Can you help me? I have a Dell Dimension 9150, running Windows XP, 32-bit with Service Pack 3.

  • Internet Explorer does not start

Internet Explorer does not start and I get this message: a problem caused blocking the program works correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

    Hello

    1. you are using 32-bit or 64-bit Windows?

If you are using 64-bit Windows, then there will be two Internet Explorers (IE) available. Check to see if the problem persists with the two IEs.
Step 1: start Internet Explorer in "no Add-ons" mode
    1. to start Internet Explorer in mode "no"add-on", click Start, point to programs, point to Accessories, point to system tools and then click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons).
    2. to continue to your home page, click the Home button.

If the problem does not occur after you use this method, use Manage Add-ons to determine which modules are at the origin of the problem.

For the other troubleshooting steps, see this article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/926449/en-us

Try the steps and post back with the results, so that we can help you further.

  • Internet explorer in the desktop

When I click on the tile for Internet Explorer on my windows startup page 8, it opens on my desk, rather than as a page on its own that it was - how to restore this? If I restore to factory settings, is it wipe out new data (eg. people information, stored emails etc) I entered on the computer?

First to answer your last question: Yes.  If you factory restore, it resets your computer back to how it was when you first opened the box. It is completely and totally erased, nothing.  Just as you first bought at the store.  That's why they call it a factory reset.

As for your question of Internet Explorer, you can have it open in the modern interface still going in your Internet Options (menu Tools of Internet Explorer).  The tab programs, choose how you want Internet Explorer to open it.

Also while you are on the Internet Options / Programs tab, go to 'Set the programs' and make sure that Internet Explorer is your default browser. It must be the value by default if you want to use from the start page.

  • Why, when I have an IE open, I 2-3 instances of Internet Explorer in the taskbar?

Thought it was weird, I wonder if I have a Trojan or something...

    Hi neilanderthal,

-Are you referring to the entries in Internet Explorer in the Task Manager or the task bar?

If you are referring to the Task Manager, a process is for the program and one for the responsible tab.

This has to do with the added tab recovery feature that prevents the entire application to plant based on a single page allowing you to continue to use the other tabs. It is a normal behavior.
