Internet protected mode

When I turned on my computer, after that my children have been on it, I knew down in the right corner of my screen, what he said... "internet protected offshore mode." It is said that the internet protected mode on since we got the laptop for Christmas.  I of course want the safe_mode on. How can I do? I'll use the suggestion given to me when I clicked on the icon 'help', but he said not to do it unless it is afecting something or the other.  Help!

In IE9 beta, 'protected mode' appears not down as in IE8. I use IE9.

    RE: Windows Defender

f you have the following AV, antivirus, programs installed, it will stop your Windows Defender. Purpose of these AVs have their own advocates. 2 defenders on the same machine will create conflicts.
Bottom line: it's ok. It's normal.
List of AVs which will stop Windows Defender:

    Norton
    McAfee
    AVG
    Microsoft Security Essentials

If the above does not apply to you, here's how to re - start Windows Defender

Start button > in the search box, typeServices > press the Enter key > scroll to find Windows Defender, click on it >...
topic status , it must be said... Has begun
under Startup Type, it must be said... Automatic
If it does not say that, right click on Windows Defender > click Properties > in the new window, make the necessary changes, as above > click OK when finished.

Word and pdf appear in protection mode - how to change the default to allow the edition?

    Just to clarify:

That means Firefox is Mark downloads as having created from the internet.

To check if the applications open downloads of the internet in protected mode, you can change their options. For example, in Word, see:

  • my lap top says off protected mode

I GOT A MESSAGE SAYING THAT THERE ARE THREATS THAT WEIGH ON MY LAPTOP... WHEN I LOOKED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN IT SAYS DISABLED PROTECTED MODE? IF THIS SHOULD NOT BE ON... IF SO HOW DO I DO THAT. OR IS IT SOMETHING ELSE?

First of all, please do not compose a message entirely in capital letters.

It is considered rude and screaming. It is also difficult to read for most people.

    To your question:
The message that you and 'off' protected mode's 2 different questions.

I can't start thinking about what should be done regarding the message "saying there have been threats that weigh on my computer"... not enough to information.

    In regard to "protected mode"...
Open Internet Explorer > tools > Internet Options > Security tab > check the box "Enable Protected Mode (requires restarting Internet Explorer" > click OK when finished.

  • Raccoon VPN error: Identity Protection mode is not acceptable

VPN seems to stop working after a while. The console then reports the error: racoon: Identity Protection mode is not acceptable. The solution is just to stop and restart the VPN using the OS X Server application.

Using the latest released version 5.1.5 and OS X 10.11.5 server.

This problem is of long standing and has not been cured by OS X software or server updates.

Hoping someone can explain what is happening and how to fix it.

"Back to My Mac" is incompatible with the VPN service. It should be disabled on the server and on an AirPort base station, if necessary.

  • Pavilion g6: Internet only mode

I turned on my laptop the other day, and he offered to go in the 'internet only' mode that wasn't in faster browsing windows. I clicked on ok and he went to her and I was very impressed by the speed of it. I needed to go back to windows to do other work, and now I can not understand how to return to the only internet mode. My question is, how to return to him?

    Thank you.

Figured it out. When the computer is turned off or hibernation by pressing F5 and it will start.

I bought this laptop in 2011. I really wish I would have known about it then.
