  Windows Media Center (of the month last Vista 32-Bit)

  I have problems to make internet TV, news and Netflix to connect to the internet when you use Windows Media Center.  They are all under the TV + movies option during the WMC.  I get an error saying [invalid Application - cannot start "" ""].  Not sure if this is because the internet connection that I use is not one that has a user name or password.  Not know how to configure it for this version of Windows.  I don't get this problem when you use Windows Media Center in Windows 7.

  At the opening of Windows Media Center I get the following message: INVALID APPLICATION; "Unable to launch SymAddin; and a checkbox to disable this Application (I have not checked the box).

  After a new installation, with two Service Packs included and all other updates and software, clicking on Netflix in Windows displays the following error message, "invalid Application. Unable to launch ' ' '.

  Silverlight is installed.

  Netflix works on IE and Mozilla.

  I had tried all the solutions listed here and came away empty-handed. For some reason, the update is applied to Windows Media Center via the Update window fails to properly install the Netflix plugin. I even contacted Microsoft Support who told me that I would have to pay $99 that the solution could take over an hour to solve.

• Error "Invalid Application" - failed to launch at the launch of Windows Media Center.

  Current operating system: Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit SP2, latest MS Silverlight installed

  Freshly installed, all updates up to SP2, whenever I have open Windows Media Center, and then select Internet TV (TV + movies) I get an error stating:

  «INVALID APPLICATION - unable to launch «»

  Nothing opens and I see all the icons TV.  I then click on the OK button and the app closes back to TV + movies (TV recorded - by default).  I can click on Play DVD, no problem.  I can click on the Netflix plugin (once again no problem).  The question seems to exist ONLY when I select 'Internet TV'.  I don't have a TV Tuner card in the machine, as well as setting up is not an option.

  Note: I am a COMPUTER technician for over 20 years and have researched the matter only of trying many fixes that don't work not including:

  • sfc/scannow (does report no error)
  • CHKDSK (no corruption of reports)
  • reinstalled MS silverlight
  • Installed the Netflix option
  • Parameters, make sure all the General internet settings are selected correctly
  • Disabling the firewall/AV
  • Change Windows MCE receiver opening Service of the Local Service Network Service logon

  Except to call Microsoft and forking over $99 - nobody knows what is the cause?

  Additional information:

  After starting Windows Media Center, and then selecting TV + movies, under the heading Internet TV a bit dimmed it says "BETA".  Not sure if this has something to do with it.  Also on my laptop which has Windows 7, the Windows Media Center interface is different and seems to work without problems.  What gives?

  My guess is that you have a HelloWorld inside your zip file and the file config.xml and index.html are inside this folder. The config.xml file must be in the root and must reference the index.html file, wherever it is in the zip directory structure.

• "An invalid application has been selected" message when you try to upgrade

  has my desktop Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Standard - Version 7.1.0 (23/04/08 04:22) installed. I am trying to upgrade and received a download link for the older versions of Adobe Acrobat: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1 & platform = Macintosh.

  I was told to download the Version 7.1.1. After I did it I had a window with a folder of files into it. I clicked the folder icon and got the Adobe Patch icon. I clicked once again and got a window with some of my apps listed. This window has had a message "Select the copy of Acrobat 7.0 Standard update." There was only one illustrates copy (I have only one copy in the Applications), and it was already pointed out in blue. I clicked on the button choose, but then got the message "an invalid application has been selected."

  It has been suggested that I have download the Version 7.1. I thought that Version 7.1.0 was what is meant so I downloaded that, but after completing the steps above, got the same message of invalid application. So I decided that the 7.0.1 Version should be the initial download must be installed, but I still get the message of invalid application.

  I try to install a proper way? All downloads are upgraded Standard - several languages.

  What the exact version you number or better yet do a screenshot of this window and Post so someone can decide the next course of action.

  In oracle when you say that CREATE or REPLACE the DIRECTORY you do not create a directory in the operating system, you simply create a reference to the directory in the operating system.

  So I don't know what you're asking.

  I started having a few problems icon with an existing working version of my application that has already been built and uploaded to Apple without problem. When I now build this, I get the following errors of two icon;

  I managed to build and release this same .zip (expect a version and the version code change) in mid-August, but he now will no longer build. I have run back through aid and checked my path to icon, everything seems in order (and all the other icons are working / not to Miss).

  As follows, the referenced files in the config.xml file are different from those that Apple reported lack;

  Fixed - I was still building with an older version of Phonegap (5.4.1) for plugin compatibility and have increased now that 6.3.0, it includes such icons as expected.

  My guess is Apple now requires these files (from my generation) and Phonegap did not know what were these the 5.4.1 version.

  When I tried to download from the app store using the application loader (ios AppStore) I got this error.

  I use the same configuration as for 19 Air and all the icons appearing in the error messages exist. I never had this problem with 19.

  I found a solution!

  I don't really know what was the cause of this problem or if it's the best solution.

  But what I did to create an empty project in xcode, adding all the icons under Assets.xcassets.

  I then ran the application on my device, looked up where the debugging API was located.

  Excerpt from IPA (changed .zip to .ipa and unzipped)

  Then open the application (right click, show package contents)

  Then I copied all the files icon png and used instead of the original when I compiled the ipa with Air 22.

  Do not know if some of the original png icons has been altered somehow in some way.

  But when I compiled all the png has been included in the ipa.
