I run win XP. I deleted a virus using Avira. When you are finished, I rebooted my system. Then, my icons on the desktop has changed. at the next restart, I was able to open a session. System asked me to insert a password that I didn't have before.

Using the F8 method:

  1. Restart your computer.
  2. When the machine starts first, yet once it will list usually some equipment that is installed on your machine, amount of memory, hard drives installed etc. At this point you should tap the F8 key repeatedly until you are presented with a menu of Advanced Options in Windows XP.
  3. Select the Safe Mode with networking option using the arrow keys.
  4. Then press enter on your keyboard to start safe mode.
  5. Make all the necessary tasks and when finished restart to start in normal mode.

Once in Safe Mode with network, download and run RKill.

RKill does NOT remove the malware; It stops the Malware process that gives you a chance to remove it with your security programs.

    I suggest that you write modular code instead.

    1. create a log table

    2 modify the procedure to log on to the error log table or exceptions

    3. that others suggest have the recovery/return procedure an exception in the client/batch file

    4. for an exception have the batch file to call a procedure to do the emailing if there were exceptions

    IMHO, it's a MISTAKE to try to put all these features in a single file. It is NOT scalable and makes it almost impossible to update the batch file if the requirements change in the future.

    Logging should be a separate process with a separate log table so that you can capture ALL of the information that may be necessary, now or in the future. Enter information in a table of newspaper, it is EASY for ANYONE to query to see what problems are occurring in the process.

    Emailing should be a separate process so that it can be used for your batch file current, files of future orders or even by procedures or functions in the database.

    Do not try to create a solution "a script does everything."

    I suggest you to check the FND_NODES table

    1) connect to SQLPLUS as the APPS user and execute the following statement:

    Select CONCURRENT_QUEUE_NAME in the FND_CONCURRENT_QUEUES where CONCURRENT_QUEUE_NAME like '% FNDSM ';

    (2) If you have found that FND_NODES table with entries incorrect node (old node from the Source Instance), and then run the query to clean below

    EXEC FND_CONC_CLONE. SETUP_CLEAN;
    COMMIT;

    (3) then run AutoConfig on all stages, firstly on the DB layer then APPS and webtiers levels to repopulate the necessary system tables,

    and make sure that you are now able to see the correct entries in the FND_NODES table and start the application services.

    You are using a generic NetBSD kernel?

    so I think that it is similar to the Open and FreeBSD.

    hotclone is the waste of time - it won't work.

    Use Coldclone - or dd the entire disk - write a descriptor for him then and use it as vmdk.

    In the other BSD systems I boot first time in single user mode - as everything else probably does not work.

    As I mentioned, there are exceptions that you can't intercept. If this work of dbms_refresh.refresh ('TEST'); results in an exception fatal server (usually an ORA-600 or an error ORA-07445 ), you can not only catch a PL/SQL block exception. All you will see (if you have a client session), is the "+ ORA-03113 end-of-file on communication channel +" error.

    Yes, you can catch a number of other exceptions. And Yes, you can write these exceptions to the errorlog table.

    Create a package error log that makes the insertion in the errorlog table. Use an autonomous transaction because it allows the error log to insert without making all existing transactions.

    Also record all PL/SQL of the error stack trace, because it helps to determine where the exception occurred. Something like dbms_utility.format_call_stack allows to get the call stack and insert this result in the error log line in the error log table.

    Then call this package since the exception handler for the refresh job.

    But before you do, you need to consider whether or not you remove this exception or not. If you do, then Oracle work process does not see this exception and think that the work has been a success. It you do not have, the process will be the exception, to realize the task failed and reported that employment for re-delivery.

    So basically, your refresh job will look something like this:

  • Filter junk e-mail in Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 (KB976884) fails with the error Code 1603 (or 1402) in Windows logs when using Windows Update in Windows 7

    It's more for info, but it would be great if MS past this info to their developers so that the Windows broken for KB976884 update package can be fixed.

    Newspapers MSI mentioned above show the following error information, all related to being too restrictive registry permissions.  Perhaps the restrictive registry permissions are design due to the product; in which case the update package must be fixed.

    Here are the logs in order, that they do not have:

    1. Error 1402.Setup cannot open the UNKNOWN\Components\1FA18F7974E099CD0AF18C3B9B1A1EE8\00002119E20000000000000000F01FEC registry key.  Make sure you have sufficient permissions to access the registry or contact the Support Services technical Microsoft (PSS) for help.  For more information about how to contact PSS, seePSS10R.CHM.
      = Logging stopped: 2009-12-21 10:16:07.
    2. Error 1402.Setup cannot open the UNKNOWN\Components\1FA18F7974E099CD0AF18C3B9B1A1EE8\00002119E20000000000000000F01FEC registry key.  Make sure you have sufficient permissions to access the registry or contact the Support Services technical Microsoft (PSS) for help.  For more information about how to contact PSS, seePSS10R.CHM.
      = Logging stopped: 2009-12-21 12:16:07.
    3. Error 1402.Setup cannot open the UNKNOWN\Components\DA42BC89BF25F5BD0AF18C3B9B1A1EE8\00002119E20000000000000000F01FEC registry key.  Make sure you have sufficient permissions to access the registry or contact the Support Services technical Microsoft (PSS) for help.  For more information about how to contact PSS, seePSS10R.CHM.

    4.     5. Error 1402.Setup cannot open the UNKNOWN\Components\6F949E36CB3004C50AF18C3B9B1A1EE8\00002119E20000000000000000F01FEC registry key.  Make sure you have sufficient permissions to access the registry or contact the Support Services technical Microsoft (PSS) for help.  For more information about how to contact PSS, seePSS10R.CHM.
      = Logging stopped: 2009-12-21 13:02:51 =.

    Resolve open Regedit and search on the first GUID after components.  The full registry path you are looking for is "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE-1-5-18\Components\.

    Don't find the GUID "00002119E20000000000000000F01FEC" as there are hundreds of entries and you will be forever.

    For example, in find point 5 '6F949E36CB3004C50AF18C3B9B1A1EE8' you will see that the key has void key and one of these sub keys will be '00002119E20000000000000000F01FEC '.  When you select '00002119E20000000000000000F01FEC' you will see you get "access denied".

    First STEP: right-click on the "00002119E20000000000000000F01FEC" subkey and select "permissions".  Windows will tell you that you can view this subkey.  Click on the "Advanced" button and click the group to select the 'administrators' tab 'Property' under ' to a change in ownership: "& check the 'Replace owner of subcontainers and objects' option click on 'APPLY '.  If you click on 'OK', you will get access denied.

    STEP 2: select the "permissions" tab and make sure that both the "Include permissions can be inherited from parents of the object" & "Replace all permissions of child object with permissions inheritable from this object" options are checked.  Click 'APPLY '.  Do not click on 'OK' you will get "Access denied" yet

    Repeat the steps for each GUID registry and then try and install the update via Windows Update.

    Whenever you see an error in the update Windowsw it generates an error log and stores it in the Temp of Windows folder, normally located in C:\Windows\Temp.  Sort by date to get the last newspaper at the top.

    The error logs are normally preceded by MSI in the form MSIxxxxx.LOG.

    I hope this works if you can not get rid of this error, but I would have preferred that ms fixed properly!

  • Xcopy - need of path of the error log file

    Hey Microsoft,

    I run the xcopy command:

    xcopy/C/H/E "C:\Original" /e > "C:\LOGFILE. TXT"2 >"C:\ERROR_LOGFILE. TXT ".

    The error log gives me this result:

    "File creation error - the system cannot find the file specified."

    But I need the path of the file that caused this error.

    How this is done?

  • I get the error message "security log is full, only an administrator can log in to solve the problem."

    On a windows machine XP after putting in place the machine administrator and when trying to connect as a user, I get the error message "security log is full, only an administrator can log in to solve the problem." I know how to solve this problem by going to the event viewer, by selecting the security log and by setting the journal to "ignore the events as needed", but I would like to create a script that will do this automatically for me.

    so far my research revealed that the value of the registry key [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Eventlog\Security] "MaxSize" controls this setting and changing the value default DWORD_VALUE to 0 x 01000000 to 0 x 00000000, change is possible. Well, when I did it in regedit, nothing has changed in the security log properties, the default setting of 'remove older items after 7 days' remained the same.

    Can someone tell me what registry key, I need to change in order to make this change? Keep in mind im trying to include this in a script.

    We do not know what you download and what you have installed so difficult to answer.

    If you have installed some stuff and you want more, then Yes, uninstall it from Add/Remove.

    Regarding the error log - are what error paper you referring?
