  2. Locate and then click the following registry subkey:

  3. on the Edit menu, point to new, and then click DWORD value.
  4 type CopyFileBufferedSynchronousIo to name the new entry, and press ENTER.
  5 right-click CopyFileBufferedSynchronousIo and then click on edit.

  7. exit the registry editor.

• Error invalid ms - dos function windows vista

  Everytime I try and copy/move/delete a file to or from my 2nd hard drive I get the "invalid MS-DOS function" and try new screen.

  I don't know what the issue is:
  But I know that I had a problem with the silver light recently, and then these questions began to appear.
  Does anyone know whence this invalid ms - dos function?
  Or what is the solution?

  AMD athlon 64 x 2 dual core processor 5600 + 2.8 ghz

  I tried to create a file with the same name by using Notepad to see if there was a problem with the file name.  I can copy this file on my hard drive flash drive, but I can't always copy the ISO file.

  I am running Windows 7 Home Premium x 64 edition and using a Corsair Flash Voyager 16 GB flash drive.

  When you attempt to drag the photos downloaded from the internet on hard disk, I get the above message when you drag the hard disk in a folder existing on a CD in the drive. I never had a problem to do this when you are using Windows 2000.

  Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site.

  Are you talking about a REWRITABLE disc?  If so, you should be able to drag-and - drop, but if is not a rewritable disc, then you are maybe not able to deposit on a folder, but on the drive itself that the folder is not writable.  I do not know what Win2000 allow you to do that, but it does not make sense to me if it is a non-rewritable drive.  It is rewritable, so it makes perfect sense and you should be able to do.  Can clarify you what your script fits in?   uninstall any version of acrobat is installed.

  clean by Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat tool - Adobe Labs

  Restart your computer.

  delete all to delete pdf files.

  If this fails, it is a problem of ms.  If this attempt is successful, then reinstall your acrobat.

  I have a 119gig .bkf file on my desktop and I am trying to move to a new disk 320gig external hard. I get a message that there is not enough space on the disk. If I reformat the external hard drive from FAT to NTFS it work or do I start the backup utility and save it to the external hard drive? On my desk .bkf file took almost 8 hours to create.   You guessed correctly the problem. FAT32 is a 4 GB file size limitation. You need to format the drive NTFS. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  Hi, I get the above error when trying to move a file that I downloaded. He asks me to administrator rights, which i can approve (despite me being the only user on the computer.

  I managed a temporary solution - work around rather than fix - download the patch directly on the desktop, unzip and copy paste n from there. Hope that helps.

  Did you use your operating system to search for photos by file name?

  As a prelude to 2014.0, we have added a feature allowing you to choose what number to start the increment of.  Look in the section ingest Rename dialog and change your preset. When you click the button, you should see the option "Custom Auto Increment". This will allow you to choose what number to start on.  We've also added a few newspapers to try to remember where let prelude last successfully interfere the operation by using this option. So, in theory, to remember the number for you. But if it isn't (maybe you want multiple kickoff ingested at the same time) you can always manually set the number to start with.

• What is a good program for trimming .mov files?

  Hi all

  I hope that some people will graciously offer me their opinions and suggestions as to what program I use allows me to select precisely then change constantly (disable/remove trim) the first and the last a few seconds a short .mov file.  I want to end up with nothing else than the short central part of the file that may have been initially as long as 8 seconds, then after installation, reduced between 2 to 5 seconds.  I have a program that requires me to keep the original file is not necessary - I want to permanently modify the so ultimately it only contains this central part of the .mov file I want to keep.  It MUST be a very easy to use and inexpensive program out there that provides this edition absolutely simple and common procedure.  I realize each file should give no further action on two occasions, first to cut off his head (at the beginning), then cut off the tail.  Save the file and finished, then turned to the next file to edit.  I made the mistake of trying to use Final Cut Pro to do the job, but I learned from others on this community, as well as my experience, that the FCC was not designed for simple editing tasks.  Maybe when I am finished editing (Trim) my 86 .mov files, then I use FCP to assemble them on a timeline that is placed in an order that coincides with the lyrics of a song, but there, I just need to simply create precisely adjusted individual .mov files, I'll use for later Assembly.  Thanks to all who have and will come to my help.

  Hello! QuickTime is a quick and easy tool to adjust clips. If you right click on a file you want to cut and choose "Open in Quicktime" you can hit and then command + T to open the crop function. You then set the yellow bars to cut a few seconds on the front and drop the clip and then save the trimmed clip. I hope this helps!

  Hello, I use the call library function node to paste the text to and from the Clipboard and works well.  Now, I'm trying to figure out how to paste a file from the windows file Explorer.  So if I highlights a file in the Windows File Explorer and press Ctrl-C, how can I use the library function node spit a file path?  It would be even better if I could highlight a bunch of files and then paste a table of paths, but that can wait.  Also, I use a Listbox MC, so I can't use drag-and - event trigger move a control path of the file.

  I had little time to play with it and really out of curiosity on my part that I have whipped up a simple example to drag and drop from the Explorer in LabVIEW. I wrote the code in 7.1, but I have 7.1 on a virtual machine, and the DragQueryFiles did not work. I don't know if it was due to the fact that I was running on a virtual machine. I did, however, run the code in 8.2 and it works correctly. 8.2, I was able to drag a bunch of files in front of the VI, and the string table fills with file names. I am especially to see if it might work for you. You will need to get the Windows Message Queue library. Simply place the library in the same folder where you unzip the attached file.
