  iCloud is a synchronization system, not a storage system. If you delete photos/videos on your iPad, they are removed to iCloud. To increase the available space, go settings/iCloud/Photos and select optimize iPhone/iPad storage.

  I use Robohelp 8. I had worked on some files Thursday, generated a .chm output and saved the source files and output on the server of our company. My problem is that when I try to open the two files, one on my computer and the server of the company, I get a message to a particular folder and all the subfolders it contains, are absent in the project manager. And I that I have to remove them. However, while trying to open 8 Robohelp, I get a message saying that adobe Robohelp has stopped working. Also, I get a message indicating that a problem has caused the locking system. Windows will notify if a solution is available.

  As far as I know that I have not worked on Robohelp since Thursday, 28 Oct. I have not deleted all files (same one that Robohelp now inidcates are missing).

  Any help or advice on what could have gone wrong, will be really appreciated.

  Buy an external hard drive if you do not already have one and migrate personal files, things like documents, music, photos, videos, stuff like that.  Once they are on the external hard drive, delete them from your computer.  You would remove them the same way you would remove any other thing - click it, right-click, select "Move to trash."  Delete nothing however, until you have moved to an external drive.  If you don't save a copy somewhere, once you remove them, it's over and you can't get it back.

  To understand what that other things that can be deleted are go up --> about this Mac--> storage.  This will tell you how many you have on your hard drive right now.  Post here a screenshot of it.

  Firstly - I don't know anything about apple products, but a few years back we were at a party where my son was charged to hack an iPad to friends and download of deleted files. My son is said to have picked up his iPad and clicked the button image on his screen locked and watched a slide show.

  But they were pretty adamant that he hacked in and downloaded its deleted pictures because she removed the image that he could see. He also repeated that they could see pictures deleted!   From the sounds of things, your son has no more to start the slideshow on the device function. Maybe the photos they thought had been deleted was not.   Hi, this is a really stupid mistake.

  I just deleted 100s of raw files from lightroom, useless stuff that I should have deleted at the time but that he was too lazy to do. I now try to purge all the waste and it takes me days (that's for the past 3 years or so).

  This morning I just deleted several hundred images I went to empty the trash and it's already empty, and it's only then that I realise I was just delete files from Lightroom and not from the diskette. It is several hours of work, is it possible that I can identify now in the folder from the finder that images aren't in the LR, because these are the ones I want to get rid of for good. I don't want to keep them there taking up valuable memory space or restore them in LR and have to do it all again. Help!

  I would do the following:

  1. YOUR CATALOG BACKUP
  2. Synchronize folders in question (perhaps on the record higher level parent)
     -Uncheck the box 'Search the metadata updated' when syncing
     -Select "import new photos" when syncing
  3. Remove photos ("remove disk") just imported by Synchronize to in LR (from the view "Previous import") after each import (if more than one folder)

  This should remove all images not previously in your catalog, but in your file (s).
