  The image of export invoke node only work while the Subvi is open, so called as a Subvi and the Subvi is closed this function fails to create an image.

  Using the graphical version express XY, I created an xy chart.  Then created an invoke node to export the image of the xy graph.  When I call this vi as a Subvi, it works, as far as the Subvi remains open.  If I close the Subvi and don't run the main vi, no image is created.

  No explanation why this would be?  LabVIEW 10 has the same problem?

  So the answer is simple, whenever an image is desired from a Subvi always use: invoke the node-> get image, in addition to any collection already implemented code to force labview to update the image

However sometimes the picture is not deleted and data since the previous call of the vi are still in the arrary, or at least it appears that way, since the same data for the previous time called appear in the file when new values are added to the file. New data looks good, as the data points in the table that I don't update appear with the old values. And again, it is an intermittent problem. I can solve this problem for a while in any case stop labview and re-run it.  Any ideas what's happening?

  Is it possible to find the only ot what the part of a node connector looks like?

  Nodes in LabVIEW are not screws and therefore cannot be opened to inspect the connector pane.

  My intention is to create a sub vi to replace a certain node (in this case ' dialogue of a button'). I hope that if I could match the connector pane I might actually use the function replace on multiple instances of the node without having to fix the wiring manually.

• Impossible to rename the files, folders or icons on the desktop... no error message

  System is Windows 7 on a laptop HP G70 (self installed) with Service pack 1.

  I'm unable to 'right click' on any file or folder or the desktop icon to rename.

  I began to restart the computer in safe mode and ran sfc/scannow the result was without error

  I rebooted and I still had the same problem. I removed the latest windows updates and rebooted.

  I can't rename it yet. I can delete files and create new files and copy the existing files.

  However, the problem is with the mouse itself. I went there with a mouse to another system of windows desktop 7 I and problems went away.

  Here's the weird part, I naturally assumed that I would see the same problems on the desktop.

  Much to my surprise the problems did not "transfer"!  the mouse that failed on the laptop is now working very well on the office... so I'll attribute it to the 'EMI of sunspots";-)
