Laptop no longer charge! Battery almost empty, but is it also the faulty wiring?

Is it possible to charge my battery now? I think my battery is completely dead now. In the past months, he stayed on less and less time without his agreement. Today, he says "battery 100%" "6 minutes". Usually, I have it just load by turning the charger cord in weird positions. I don't know if it of a faulty wiring or not. I'd rather just buy a new battery to deal with faulty wiring.

Yes, I was making the change in your battery in the boot menu thing. I have a 625 HP and have had it for over 3 years now. Last year, I had to adjust my cable just so she can load. He stirs around a little bit when inside, but the cord/plug itself seems not loose or anything... Today, that did not work at all. I tried for several hours moving my rope to the right position for my laptop can turn on. I usually get it loads in not more than 1 minute, but today was different. Last year I replaced my load and it seemed in fact it is much easier to load. However, it is a loader rather newish and this is my battery at fault this time.

My problem will resolve everything by getting a new battery? I can probably go to Best Buy or something. Or maybe buy one online.

If you think that I can also be a problem with the faulty wiring, what can I do to get it fixed? I feel that this would cost me a lot. Or, do you get a new battery will solve my problem charging?

If you think that I don't have faulty wiring, then should everyone jiggle their rope around until their laptop starts to load? It seems right that that's what I have to do just to power my laptop.

In addition, if you think that Best Buy isn't the best place to buy a new battery (expensive as hell!), a link to a site worthy of confidence with fast delivery and the fair price would be great!

Well, it really depends on a few things, but replace the battery and the charger is the first step to discover.  It is not too difficult to find replacements, fortunately.  Here is the battery and This is the charger .

It could be a bad connection on the laptop itself, which would mean the jack needs replaced.  Not an impossible task, but it would have required a qualified technician to open the case to replace the power supply.

I got my T110 last week and I have since then charged only 3 times. However, I have the feeling, it takes much too long to load. It takes more than 4 four hours to make it complete. It would be the slowest computer I've ever had in this aspect. Is it my computer or it happens to everybody?

    Thank you.

    Hi Comodoro,

Are you using the original Toshiba battery and AC/DC adapter or any part of 3rd party?

To be honest, I can t say how long it takes until that the T110 is completely charged, because most of the time AC/DC adapter is connected then there s always fully charged.

In addition it s depends on a lot of difference how long the battery will be charged, but I think there are at least 2-3 hours.

  • Always display all empty but favorite bookmarks in the menu

I've recently updated to Firefox 7.0.1. After the recent problems with the sync, I noticed that when I choose "Show all bookmarks" from the bookmarks menu item, the page is empty, even if I see all of my favorites in the menu itself.

Also, when I try to add a new bookmark (cmd - D), the box that opens is also empty.

    Any ideas?

One possible cause is a problem with the places.sqlite file that stores the bookmarks and history.

  • I am trying to install another gig of ram on my laptop of HP running under win7 32, but when I install the stick, windows crashes at startup.

First thanks for taking the time to look at my problem. I just bought this machine used and he installed a 7 on good own licensed copy and it works just ok. Could not load too many programs or it is quite slow. More ram can only help so I picked up the ram Kingston correct and all stop, stuck the new concert date in the only opening slot, and windows crashes about 15 seconds. Hard, close and remove the ram and back in buisiness. The old for new works, fine. Any combination that adds more of the original concert hangs the system.

The machine is a HP Pavilion zd7000. HP says it has a max of ram 2048 and a Crucial site scan shows the 1 slot available without support dual channel. It is an Intel Pentium 4 @ 3 .00GHz, speed 2992 without support of the ECC.

So I did a lot of reading on this and went into the bios at startup and the bios indicates the additional concert when it is loaded, but it crashes. I have run the checker with the two sticks installed memory and it shows no problem. I went in first Grade and manually configured virtual memory to 1024-2048. I looked at the box that limits the max memory to 1028 and he did not check for me clear, but I can not change the number to 2048.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hey superman,.

The common feature seems to be the network card.

You can try to disable it, or update the driver for this to see if the problem resolves.

    Dear Sir.

My laptop a DV4-1199th does not rotate if the power light is on when the battery is out. When I installed a charged battery, it lights, but the power light is off and the battery won't charge (in fact that it discharges).  I have to recharge the battery when the phone is turned off. Hi @cbsantos722 ,

Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. It's a great site for information and questions. I looked in your question about your HP Pavilion dv4-1199ee Notebook and the problems with the battery. Here is a link to calibrate and test the battery.  Here is a link to solve the problems of the battery on a laptop. You should be able to complete these with the laptop plugged into the AC adapter.

Yes, google for a FREE audio converter. Change your itunes songs or songs that are not supported by the manufacturer of film in MP3, WMA or WAV... mp3 and wma are more preferable. WAV format is too large file size, not practical.
Then import the song to movie maker. For the benefits of others looking for answers, please mark as answer suggestion if it solves your problem.

  • Battery on T500 - unusual problem - not in the forum

I have laptop T500 with a battery 6 cells. For some reason, the battery does not charge. The battery on the screen light blinks all the time. I changed the battery but the problem persists, and so I think that it is not the battery. I also checked with another adapter that I have and it's always the same thing. Anyone know how I can solve this problem.

    Thank you.

If the problem persists with different battery, then it is likely that you have a problem with the motherboard. Flashing battery should mean that the battery is below 5% charge level.

  • Laptop has 'charge battery' led flashing with charger connected, but does not turn

I am with the following problem:

    (1) my laptop won't turn. Even when it is connected to the charger. I tested 3 different Chargers work.

    (2) sometimes the light which indicates "charger plugged" does not illuminate. And when it turns on, the "battery charge" stops flashing. In this case, when I try to power on my laptop, it starts to launch upward, but in a few seconds, he turned down.

    It's a DV4-2160us.

  • Laptop battery only charges to 79%. Think I've changed the settings earlier to save the battery of thea, but now want to 100% load again.

My laptop battery is ok, but still only charge up to 79%. And stop there. What should do? I changed the settings as soon as possible to save the battery, but now wants to load 100% again. I can't find where to change them back.

If you start in System Setup (BIOS) - before any loading of the operating system - and look at the section health and charge battery... What percentage watch battery is charged it?  What status?  If leave you it in the BIOS and let it load this way - it's 100% top?  If so - what happens when you start in Windows?

(Trying to confirm this, it is an error within the OS and not a hardware problem).

  • Battery no longer charges. Fastboot OK

    Hi all

After a long time with Android phones since 2009, it is the first time I have a question.

Yesterday, I noticed that my phone was low battery and charge it overnight. Do not pay attention a lot the morning and used it a little bit. At work, I noticed that the battery was very low and went in there not load more than 3%. Leave it as this time a couple and realized it loads more - Screenshot 1

After a long call this morning, the battery dies and it is now impossible to load.

    What I've done.

When I plug, small battery + lignthing symbol. Nothing else. (shouldn't see an animation of the battery? I don't remember that the battery of this phone generally never dies.)

Fastboot works well, I tried to fastboot erase userdata and cache, just in case.

Time by pressing volume down + a couple of seconds, by following the instructions in the help forums, I see the small red symbol (and load text, but obviously do not charge) - screenshot 2

When you press power + volume down on 15-20 years, same scenario as before, but text is green - screenshot 3

I tried to contact the seller and the guarantee to work, but they are still trying to contact Motorola and seems complicated.

Please help me, I have to use an iPhone 6 pending a guarantee/answer is just... so... iPhonish...
