  My Iomega eGo Portable hard drive was connected by USB on my Macbook Pro OSX 10.9.5 cable and I was transferring my iPhoto folder.  Unfortunately, the cable dropped and I got a message on my laptop hard drive had not ejected correctly.   I reconnected it the cable, but now, it does not appear under devices in the search page.  I also checked the disc utilities and it isn't here either.  I tried to connect the hard drive of my iMac, but it does not appear in the devices out there either.

  Although I have been using a Mac since they first appeared on the market and can usually work things, I find it more and more difficult with all the new technology.  Everything that used to be so easy, one of the great things the Mac since MS-DOS.

  If anyone can help I would be very grateful, because I have a lot of files on this disc of old Mac and use the Iomega to backup my most important files.

  My HDD network collapsed Iomeag a couple of years of work.

  I looked at the cost of retrivle data and he let one hand, I can't afford it.

  However all my children childhood pictures are here and I really want them.

  Finally, I decided to give him a miself. I looked online and hooked up again, he made a clicking sound at the beginning, but it would not appear on the desktop.

  From what you describe, I expect that the car broke down.

  There is nothing I can do to help a hardware failure.

  As mentioned on some other threads, UFS Explorer can sometimes help recover data from our RAIDs, but there is no hotfix for a hardware failure.

  I used a new cable this morning. The player had made a backup in an hour and twenty minutes.

  This is the first time I experienced a bad USB cable. Always a first time.

  The only difference that I noticed this trial, has been anything but downloaded unit on 7 GBs in

  tweny minutes, it took an hour to complete the last 7 GBs. We'll see how it works

  Hello - I got an Iomega 1 TB external hard drive connected to my router E4200.  I got confgured actions and they have been correctly running on the network.

  As of yesterday, all that has stopped working. The router does not see the disk; It is as if she is not plugged in.

  I rebooted the router and it still does not work.  I connected the hard drive directly to my PC to check that it works, and it does.

  The router is running Ver.1.0.03 (Build 14) of the firmware (the last).

  I used my external hard drive (Iomega) once, about 8 months ago to save the files on m y HP laptop.  I tried these last days to support again (I know, I should have backed up regularly!), but whenever I try, I get the message that I get an error code 0 x 800700022

  I have Windows Vista on my laptop. I don't know what you need to know. The hard drive will allow me to recover the files that I have already backed up to it, I can just put more on it.

  No need to reinstall the ESXi when existing local RAID hard drive changed on the data store, since I can just

  1 VMotion the VMS and empty data store

  2. stop the ESXi

  3. disconnect the USB

  4. perform the reconfiguration of RAID.

  5. plug the USB back again and the bot the ESXi

  6 detect the new data store, format as necessary

  7 return the virtual machine to the new data store?

  It works completely. Not need to unplug the USB unless your server is not a way to start directly in your raid tools or a CD.

  Think you can not start your guest virtual machines just because it has a corrupted root system.img image. And suppose that it contains 5 physical disk (which are all created by the model CARS) where ASM on them.
  What is the easier recovery of computers scneario virtual comments (RAC)?
  
  Can this be a plausible scenario to retrieve availability? (Assume that both of the RAC system images are corrupted and we do not prefer a level system rather than backup recovery / restore)
  
  1 create 2 RAC instances using the same details of networking and the hostname that is corrupt. -Use the new 5 different drives.
  2 stop the newly created instances. Place the disks for instances newly created using virtual machine Manager.
  3. Add the old records the image system is unable to be corrected, but ASM disks are still in use (since the newly created instances using VM manager.) for newly created instances.
  4. open the newly created instances

  you have a similar problem, trying to clone data bases with 11.2.
  The problem is that a cluster is identified uniquely, and this information is considered in the OCR and voting disks. So exactly these 2 should not be cloned.

  To achieve what you want, simply configure your system in this way, you have a diskgroup separated for OCR and vote (and ASM spfile), should not be restored in the case of szeanrio.
  Only all files in database in ASM will then be exchanged later.

  Then what you want is possible.
