iOS 9.3 always takes pop email

Had a recent problem to update my IPad and it took to the Genius Bar where they fixed to a full reboot.  Problems with my email, seems that she changed to IMAP instead of POP, which I prefer.  However, I don't seem to be able to restore, the option is not there when I try to add an account, only IMAP is offered, even after the removal of the old account.  It is the only option now or there at - it an easy way to get back to POP email?  Thank you.

To set up a pop e-mail account use the 'other' option and enter an error in the password, it will offer you then you pop or imap, select pop, enter the correct details and correct the error in the password, and you should be good to go.

    Hi everyone who suffers the Surface RT does not support POP e-mail! Now, I found the solution...

    First, you must create and prepare the following three accounts:

    1. your POP email

    2. Gmail account

    3 Hotmail account, such as Hotmail, msn, live, outlook

    Step 1: Connect to Gmail and go in "Settings", then under "Accounts and import", check mail other accounts "with the help of POP". Here you will send all emails to your Gmail then POP.

    Step 2: Log in to Hotmail, then go to 'E-mail settings', then go to "send/receive e-mail from other accounts", then click "Add an e-mail account" to add your Gmail account. After checking it then you can receive all mails sent to your email POP then transfer to Hotmail via Gmail.

    Step 3: then on the same page, click on "add another account to send emails of" to add your email pop account After verifying you can send and answer your e-mail in your POP account.

    Step 4: after all, go to Tablet Surface RT, then configure your mail in Hotmail as normal configuration... and now you can use your POP with Surface RT.

    I'll try to keep this short: I love my DROID. Have since day one and have been one of the lucky ones not having problems, others have had. However!

    I started having problems by removing the old pop emails in the trash of my Droid. (You can find this ad here a few weeks ago who never responded).  I had over 300 emails in the trash that I couldn't remove. So I decided to restart to factory settings. When I did, it solved the old problem of e-mail. Ok. But now I have this new feature that did not exist before. When you type a new email (POP), I get a menu of words of automatic filling at the bottom of the screen that I can choose or not choose to use by touching them as auto spell checking. Most of it is great, but it keeps filling my words with words, I don't intend to type and when I try to save space to remove the letters auto filled to keep what I want, it keeps filling in words that I don't want. It takes a few tries so he could hold.

    I think I understand your problem.  If you start from the home screen, press Menu-> settings-> language & keyboard-> Android keyboard settings on screen keyboard.  Now if you turn off the AutoComplete feature, I think you'll find that helps you.  Another thing that might help is to add words to the user dictionary whenever you don't see them in line with the suggestion.  I like to keep auto-complete, but I also spent a lot of time to add words to the dictionary, so that it will suggest you the words that I use.  An easy way to add a Word to the dictionary is when you see that it is not suggested so long click on the word and you'll get a pop up that tells you that it has been added to the dictionary.  It's really a setting you like or you don't like.  I hope this helps.
