IOS development certificates

I created my first application last year. Of course, at this time there, I created required certificates. I'm ready to create my second application. I need to create new certificates for this second app?

You don't need to create new development and distribution of certificates .p12. These same certificates to use for all your applications. But for the second application, you must create a new AppID and mobile available files based on this App ID. If you enable push notifications, you must also .p12 different certificates to push.

Use the same for all applications:

development .p12 certificate

distribution .p12 certificate

Required for each application:

file of available mobile development

file of available mobile distribution

CERT to push development .p12

CERT push .p12 distribution

  • Generating .p12 using iOS developer certificate

    Hello

We have an iOS developer account and we also have a certificate under "certificates". This certificate is .cer file. But the package app iOS in flash builder, the certificate must be of .p12. There are so many articles that give all the details directly from generate and deploy the application. But whenever the conversion certificate is mentioned, everyone says we must click on "Request certificate" and download our CSR (Certificate Signing Request, which is generated from openssl) file. But I do not see "Request certificate" option, given that the certificate is already there.

My question is how can we convert existing or revoked------renewed certificates (.) The CER files) to .p12? It can be done with it. File REB and a .key file using openssl. But how do I get the .key file? I have the same question for iOS certificate of Distribution as well. I have MAC and Windows, wherever it is easy to convert, I'll do it here.

Kindly let me know how this can be done.

    Hi Deepak,

The easiest way is to generate the .p12 leave Apple Developer certificate to export private keys on a Mac key. You will need to use the same computer that created the .cer file that is listed in the Developer Portal. If not create you the certificate of your machine which is currently on Apple's site, then you can simply revoke this certificate and create a new.

I recorded a number of tutorials that explain this process for both Mac and Windows. It is easier to do it on a Mac, because entire books online refers to the process of Mac.

  • Is a new IOS development certificate required for a new application?

I had created a certificate of IOS development for an app that I managed to test on my devices and also present for the final version.

Now I am working on a new app for IOS and created a new Bundle ID of the application. I also created a new provisioning profile.

When I try to test the app on my iPad 2 or the iPhone 4, I get an error message saying the application failed to install. On the iPhone, it also mentions invalid payments.

I wonder if I need to create a new certificate of development? I hope not as it seems as if by black magic, creating the original :)

    Any advice on clarification appreciated.

You should be fine with the same certificate, just be sure that you get a new profile provisoning for each application that you are working on, and there are 2 GSM, a development and one for the version of itunes.

  • Do I need to present the certificate store apple's iOS developer?

I had registered developer certificate iOS but when I login to DPS App Builder require me to save iOS developer program. Should I submit my apple store iOS developer certificate? To activate my certificate.

What do you mean when you say that DPS App Builder requires you to save iOS developer program? During the build of the application, you must specify the certificates created using the Apple iOS developer program. If you are only editing, see step by step guide of editing. If you are Pro/business, see the companion edition guide.

  • iOS Developer account - generator of App

I just started working with DPS.  I have not committed to any project, but I'm at a point where she wants to confirm my iOS Developer Account.

For exercise using the software, I have to commit to the $99 developer fee?

Is there a certificate that allows me to develop without publication?

You can develop folios and preview on your iPad or any other device using the free Adobe Content Viewer. If you want to build a custom test development application, you will need to register for the iOS developer subscription ($ 99 / year).

  • Internal application with an Apple ios developer enterprise account

    Hello everyone,

I created an application with a business Apple iOS developer program account and an account unique edition of DPS.

I host this app on my server (.ipa + .plist + a small html file) to download it directly from the Ipad by communicating the right url.

Everything works well for iPad which UDID is registered, but stop the installation close to the end for the iPad that are not registered.

When I created the distribution start-up profile, I asked a deployment 'internal' and not 'ad hoc'. So I don't understand why it does not work!

    Could someone help me?

I look forward to your reply.

    Eric

You cannot use SE for what you are wanting to do. You need an Adobe company account in order to achieve what you want.

  • Should what macbook I buy for ios development?

I'm a software developer want to learn ios for this development, I want to buy a macbook. But I'm in great confusion what macbook should I buy, I was thinking of buying the Macbook Air 13 inch 2015 model with core i5-1.6 ghz, 4 GB of ram and 128 GB of storage. I would like to ask all ios developers there is this configuration will be good for me because I am with money for macbook pro, so please help me guys. Thank you

I'm not a developer, but I know you're going to need a macbook pro. It's too slow a processor to do what you are wanting to do wayyyyyyyyyyyyy. 1.6 ghz is for normal tasks such as navigation. You certainly need to do a few upgrades to the Air of Macbook 13 inch if you are wanting to do the development. I suggest strongly a faster processor and at least 8 GB of RAM. You will want to get a Macbook you will have more work, because it will have a much shorter life if abuse you it, that is why I suggest the Pro. Have you checked the refurbished Macbook Pro? I think you could find one close to your price range! If this isn't the case, except a little bit of money, it is not too hard!

Here is a link to the refurbished macbook pro (these go all the same tests as the new mac Cross and have the same guarantee)

    http://www.Apple.com/Shop/Browse/home/specialdeals/Mac/Macbook_pro/13

There is one that I see for $1 099,00 with the 8 GB of RAM (you save $200 normal price), is only $100 more than the macbook air you're wanting. Totally worth buying the macbook pro and then

  • Installation of on IOS SSL certificates

Having a problem with an SSL certificate (DigiCert) on a Cisco 2811 running IOS 124 - 24.T4.

I can get the certificates, intermediate and certificates of server installed fine unsing the a trustpoint created. Web ssl site works very well for IE browsers, and other types of browsers get errors. When I do a verification of the SSL certificate it shows that the "the server does not send the certificate requires intermediary" (see attachment). I feel that I have followed is available as well. Any suggestion is appreciated.

It's the best information I could find to follow. They are specifically for Go-Daddy certs, but I think it would be the same process for all.

    Hello

If you have several CA certificates, you must authenticate the trustpoint containing the CERT of identity using the immediate intermediate cert and then use other trustpoints to import the other CA certs one by one.

So, basically, we need to follow the following configuration to import the CA 3 certificate and the certificate of identity on the router:

    1.  Create root trustpoint >> >> Crypto ca trustpoint root >> Enrollment terminal >> >> chain-validation stop >> >> revocation-check none >> >> Crypto ca authenticate root >> (this will prompt to paste in the PEM/base64 of the Root CA certificate) >> Quit after you paste the Root CA certificate. >> >> >> 2.  Create intermediate trustpoint for the primary intermediate certificate >> >> crypto ca trustpoint intermediate-primary >> enrollment terminal >> >> chain-validation continue root >> >> revocation-check none >> >> crypto ca authenticate intermediate-primary >> (this will prompt to paste in the PEM/base64 of the Primary Intermediate CA certificate) >> Quit after you paste the intermediate primary certificate. >> >> >> 3.  Create intermediate trustpoint for the secondary intermediate certificate >> >> crypto ca trustpoint intermediate-secondary >> enrollment terminal >> keypair >> chain-validation continue intermediate-primary >> >> crypto ca authenticate intermediate-secondary >> (this will prompt to paste in the PEM/base64 of the Secondary Intermediate CA certificate) >> Quit after you paste the intermediate secondary certificate. >> >> 4.  Import the IDentity certificate >> >> crypto ca import intermediate-secondary certificate >> (paste the ID certificate PEM/base64 here)

  • Confusion with iOS development

I try to develop for iOS and android. I made a thread a while back who seek remedies for error code that caused the rejection of the app. I wonder of a windows-based solution. This thread has been deleted. After much effort, I got a mac capable of swift/xcode running... All that much good. So now, I'm back with my questions. One of the mistakes that I received was that I was missing icons. In flash, there are only so many slots that you can fill with icons. But with later versions of the iphone/ipad, they expect more icons of different sizes. Is there a way I can integrate my flash project into flash builder/xcode. To produce a soft going to auto control of phase?  Help, please! I don't like the idea of having to write two different applications for iOS and Android and the obligation to acquire completely new development tools. I love adobe flash, and I hope to publish for mobile is always a viable option. I'm not a beginner in flash anymore, but it seems that your stay current new Apple edition requirements is something that takes a higher level of expertise I have. There were some other errors that I received as well even if flash had no errors in the compilation. Someone at - he was able to successfully publish an app on the app store has developed mainly in flash in the last months?

I can't help you with xcode.  I spent two weeks working on it and hated.

for your problem of flash pro icon, you can update to the latest version of the sdk flash, Download Adobe AIR SDK

  • Differences between CS5.5 and CS6 for iOS development and export?

I'm just curious about how Flash Professional CS5.5 is compromised in this regard.

And is it possible to compensate for any differences by installing a package update or software development kit?

    Thank you

performance is better because of the air sdk.

So yes, if you can install it on your 5.5 3.6 (the last air ios sdk), you should get the same performance as any other version of cs flash using 3.6

  • Native installer with ID Apple Developer certificate signing

I am signing my AIR OSX app with Flash Builder to 'Export Release Build' 4.6 option. For this I use certificate 'Developer ID application' Apple in order to install and run my application on OSX 10.8 Mountain Lion.

After you have identified the correct certificates in the chain and exporting all p12 format (I chose 'Developer ID of Application', 'CA Developer ID' and 'Apple Root CA' within the Keychain Access on my Mac application) I got the following error: "error of creation of the native installer: packaging failed.» Make sure that your computer's time is synchronized and your certificate is valid.

Does anyone has idea how to properly sign the AIR applications using certificates Developer ID?

Yes, I did. I created Apple Developer ID request certificate on the Apple web site. I imported this to Keychain Access by double-clicking the .cer file downloaded. I also checked that I had installed the certificates Developer ID certification authority CA root and Apple. Then I used utility codesign of the terminal to sign all the binaries in the .app folder and the folder itself. In my case that boiled down to:

Codesign f - v s ' Developer ID of Application: Company Inc. "'Install My App.app/Contents/Resources/MyApp/Contents/MacOS/MyApp."

Codesign f - v s ' Developer ID of Application: Company Inc. ""Install MyApp.app/Contents/MacOS/Install MyApp.

    Codesign f - v s ' Developer ID of Application: Company Inc. ""Install MyApp.app ".

  • Development certificate EXPIRED! Now what?

I went spectator Builder to update an application and I had to renew the Mobile configuration file. So I opened a session in the Apple App Dev portal and try to renew my mobile Setup files, but I couldn't. That's when I realized that my certificate of development that I used to sign all my apps has expired and he is more listed on the certificates page. So, my question is, can I renew this old certificate? If not, can I create a new one and use it on existing applications? I tell myself that if I create a new, all the mobile configuration files must be recreated on the right?

    Thank you!

"You don't need to create new files mobileprovision - those that are related to your app, not your certificate ID".

Not true - developer mobileprovision file are directly related to the certificate of developers, so they must be recreated and mobileprovision distribution files will end, so must be renewed too.
