IP Chat Messenger

Hi, I am writing a Chat messenger IP which also allows the transfer of file for our project. I was wondering how I can allows the sender of the file display a dialog on the other hand the asking if they want to accept the file or not. APIs or the steps that I need to look it up on or may be useful. Thank you.

Well, of course you must have a layer on top of the sleeve that includes information about your messages. You just send all the characters typed in by the user straight to the other end, right? If you set your protocol to include the information you need. For example, you first specify if the incoming message is a message from the user or an application for file. Then, you specify which it is from the user. So, if this is a message to the user, the next song is the text itself, but if it is a file, it would be things like the name of the file and the size.

On the receive side when you receive a message "file request", displayed you a dialogue with relevant information. You say the other side or not, and then it sends a message file with the content, or tells its user 'denied', if the receiving user said no.

  • I have no chat/messenger icon in my Yahoo Mail.

    I deleted the cache and cookies, uninstalled and reinstalled Yahoo Messenger and other suggestions exasperating and inconvenient.
    FF is up-to-date.

    You have a few extensions you installed. Can be one of those who is the cause. You can try to start Firefox in Mode safe to see if Firefox works correctly without error? You can start Firefox in Mode safe below:

  • Since the upgrade to FF9.0, Yahoo Messenger no longer works. Who's going to fix this?

    After the upgrade to 9.0 Yahoo chat messenger is no longer in effect. The tab flashes that someone has sent a message, but there is no window to open it. Also cannot choose a contact to open and start a new chat.

    I filed a few reports with Yahoo - this was their most recent response. My answer to them is that I don't want to download another browser.

    Given that this is going to be my first experience to refresh the Windows 8 on my laptop official because of its very poor performance, am sure inconfident.

    Kindly let me know:

    1. If some of the heavy applications like Visual Studio, SQL Server, SAS etc are not installed, but their respective installation (.msi, .exe) programs also saved on the drive, these files would be saved too.     2. And
    3. Additional resources/information can I accumulate of the it Department?

    Q-1, = you need to reinstall the App and a software program after cooling system, Personal Software and files will be save as usual, nothing will happen to the DATA

    Q 2, 1 = you must check where the machine was preloaded with Windows 8 or not. If Yes, refreshment does not any CD.

    Q-3, = HE ask team which Type of OS they have installed on your system, it is company or ask them PRO, reconfigure all elements such as Outlook and mail, Chat messenger and all other surfs

    The message "you have disconnected because you access Yahoo! Messenger from another computer or device." appears when you try to connect twice with the same Yahoo! ID. Someone knows your password and he at the same time connecting with you or you have Yahoo Multi Messenger and accidentally logging in twice. One solution is to change your Yahoo! password or not to use Yahoo Multi Messenger with the same ID.
