iPhone 5 optimization requirement - launch Image

Tonight, at the end of downloading my app on iTunes, I received the following message is displayed:

Your binary is not optimized for the iPhone 5. Since May 1st, all the new iPhone apps and updates of application submitted must support the screen 4 inches on the iPhone 5. All applications must include a picture of launch of the appropriate size. Learn more about support for the iPhone 5 in reviewing the iOS Human Interface Guidelines.

It took me offguard I got an image for the iPhone 5 in the app for several months package ([email protected]). I am following the guidelines set out in this section - http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/articles/launch-images-ios.html.

I use FlashBuilder 4.6 with AIR 3.5. Suggestions on how to solve this problem?

Thank you, in advance.

Hello

Well, I'm no mvp +++, but I'll give it a try. ;-)

In the framework of the project > properties > Flex (or Actionscript) packaging build > Apple iOS > contents of packaging, does show the [email protected] checked and included in the package? All files get packaged with the build is listed under the package contents. Here, you can check or uncheck it as what to include.

If the application runs on your iPhone 5 with the image by default and to fill the entire screen, then you need to download this way to Apple.

I use AIR SDK 3.9 (and I checked to make sure by drawing NativeApplication.nativeApplication.runtimeVersion).

I have an image of [email protected] in the src folder, and I checked the content of the project/properties/ActionScript Settings Build / Package (I use Flash Builder 4.6). Certainly, it is checked to be included in the compilation. Can you please specify?

With the next version of May 1, DPS App Builder will include a parameter required for a launch image 640 x 1136 (also called a "splash screen"). The next time that you update your application, include this image. You can also build a rendering 1136 x 640 when the tools are updated to avoid the black bars on the iPhone 5.

  • LOOK for iOS: icons & launch Image question

    Start the Image:

AIR was so changed since I used it the last time, I can't really know anything, the documentation is a little confusing for me. Could someone of you please answer my question? For some, it would be fairly simple.

My application is exclusively for iPads, only works in landscape mode, so I've included images of launch 2, whose name: Default.png & [email protected]. (I named them after reading this: ) http://help.Adobe.com/en_US/air/build/WS901d38e593cd1bac1e63e3d129907d2886-8000.html )

When I copied the final .ipa file to my iPad 2, and its launch image appeared in Portrait mode! So, I'm totally confused that how many launch I provide images and what should be their names? I use Flash Professional CC to publish, I have included images of launch in publication settings, so is there any order I must follow or order in the files just doesn't metter? Please keep it carefully considered that this app is only for iPads (specified in the publishing dialog box) and only works in landscape (both, left and right).

    Icons:

    I followed the above Web page and Flash Professional CC has provided these icons: 29 x 29, 48 x 48, 50 x 50, 58 x 58, 72 x 72, 100 x 100, 144 x 144 and 1024 x 1024. I know 50 x 50 icon is created by air 48 x 48, and yet I have provided it and icon 512 x 512 is only for the purpose of development, we provide manually while downloading on App Store, so I did not plan it.

When I copied final. IPA to iTunes, iTunes doesn't show the application icon as it allows to determine the development-ipa. So, I just want confirm is that normal or I missed something?

Finally, I copied final. IPA for my iPad 2, when I started, I noticed that first of all it show image 'launch' in portrait (as mentioned above) and then can be 1-2 seconds, the launch went image and it showed a blank (black) screen until my application has started. The black and white screen showed for 3-4 seconds. Is this normal?

    Thank you.

    Hey Yusuf,.

"Default.png" is a bitmap portrait for iPhone, iPhone 3 and iPhone 3GS.

    ---

    For iPad 1, 2 & Mini, you will need an image 1024 x 768 called "Default - Landscape.png.

For the iPad 3 and 4, you will need a 2048 x 1536 "[email protected]."

    ---

So all you have to do is to include these images in the publication of launch settings and that's all, there is no special orders and you don't require other images 'Default' than these two. This should also fix your white screen problem.

It is normal for release builds do not show their application icon in iTunes, you will notice that when you right click and press "Get Info" on an application, you should be able to see the icon.

    Hope that helps,

    O.

  • Invalid launch image - your application contains a launch image with a size modifier which is only supported

I use the latest Adobe AIR and SDK, 3.5. The app works on my iPhone 5 and displays the loading screen, but by doing an app store version and upload I get this:

    Dear developer,

We found one or more problems with the delivery of your recent for "eat sleep skateboarding". To process your order, the following questions must be addressed:

Invalid launch image - your application contains a launch image with a size modifier which is only supported for applications built with the iOS SDK 6.0 or later version.

Once these issues have been fixed, go on the release Details page, then click on "Ready to Upload binary." Continue through the submission process until the status of the app is "Waiting for Upload. You can then deliver the binary has been fixed.

So he complains on my [email protected] I think. If I delete it, he could accept the file, but I really want to a loading screen. So, how can I fix? I only find solutions for xcode developers

You are probably not using the last available AIR SDK. Labs releases contained a bug leading to this issue.

So, update your AIR SDK from http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/air-sdk-download.html should solve the problem.

  • iOS launch image and Flex preloader

    Hi all

like many of us, I have read up on the packaging of the iOS and have met the concept of iOS to a launch image (set in various sizes and orientations). This preloader in flash capacity replacement or complement? In other words, if I do not specify it, it will be a long and dark gap before my preloader resumes?

    Thank you, Richard

    Hi Richard,

the iOS * splash screen is characteristic of unique iOS (there no similar equivalent in the Android SDK). It is demonstrated by the iOS after application should appear on the screen - before the application window and user interface elements are ready to shoot. So it * wrong * user that the application is already ready - but it is up to you to make sure that the application itself will start as soon as possible:

    http://www.Adobe.com/devnet/flash/articles/app_store_guide.html

Once your application is ready to be shown it is rejected and your * home * is displayed (for example first view defined in the application).

You had to provide at least one "Default.png", so it is found by ADT (Air development tool) and included binary natively built to the export phase). For example, if your first point of view is to contain a list of items that can be changed (due to the load of the server, database query, etc.) - screenshot-Default.png should contain an empty list - just what it seems when content is rendered but without actual data. If your first point of view contains static content - it is sure to get the screenshot of this screen and use it as Default.png:

  • iPhone 6s more full of Images

Hello. I have an iPhone 6 Plus and I have completed the film. By doing this, I started also to delete applications on my iPhone to make room for other images. Recently, I noticed an option for an additional storage available in iCloud bringing my storage option to 1.9 TB available if you go to home > settings > icloud > storage. In addition, homepage > parameters > icloud > photos is 'on' with "icloud library" also 'on' which is expected of me "automatically download and store your entire library on icloud to access photos and videos of all your devices. "optimize the iphone storage" is also checked. So my question is, how can I use this extra storage that I pay for every month of reliably storing all my photos from my iphone in icloud while freeing up the camera of my iPhone (without affecting the images stored in icloud) to take more photos and videos?

    Hi there Edbak,

Looks like you're wanting to know how to get the most out of your iCloud-storage space and free up space on your phone without affecting your stored data. As long as your entire library of Photos is stored in iCloud, you can indeed turn on Optimize iPhone storage to keep what are basically just the thumbnails on your phone, leaving the originals in original quality on iCloud. That being said, go ahead and film to your heart's content and it is all downloaded on iCloud automatically your local storage is managed automatically in the background.

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support. Let us know if you have any other questions.

  • CS4 do not "put" required files (special required?) image

Well, I just upgraded from CS3 to CS4.

The first file I tried to publish ('put') on my site... requires graphics that are located in the folder "image".

CS4 * only * published the file itself (index.htm)... but I DON'T download any of the images required

I used to do the same thing all the time with the CS3 version... and DW would always detect that the images were necessary for the full display of the page... and would automatically download "necessary pictures" at the same time.

This page seems correct in the "Overview" using Internet Explorer 4 on my desktop using CS4.

But NONE of the images are downloaded with the page publish.

CS4 must some special setting... selected to tell him to "transfer associated graphs" (or something similar)?

    Thanks for anyone's help.

You choose dependent files must be downloaded with the selected files

The default is to not download dependent files.

You can set this option in Edit > Preferences > Site.

  • Optimization of the image

I am currently working on an application that requires a few hundred images png to display both on the screen. I'm looking for ways to optimize the storage of images, so that it has any effect on the user's system. Images must be resizable.

I use the Image class right now, and he thought to pass to the Bitmap class. Although I would not benefit from pixel-copy, I hope it will have a smaller footprint and give slightly better performance.

Is there a better way to do it? Can I use graphics draw BitmapData image directly on a minimum element? If so, are there guides to resize the BitmapData for drawing?

    Thank you
    Nate

I use a matrix to do the resizing, but I'm doing something different from what
    you do.

  • IPhone camera on the launch 7 - gel

The native iphone camera app 7 takes 5 to 20 seconds to launch.

    To reproduce the problem:

    (1) open the native camera application.

    (2) close the app native camera by pressing a button at home (important: do not remove the camera app from applications recently used in multitasking).

    (3) make 5 calls or more, each call 10 seconds or more. For example to call your voice mailbox to simulate a day calls.

    (4) after the calls, open the native camera of the lockscreen app.

The video below demonstrates the problem:

    https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=tnhVNhjxfcI

In this video, it's 5 seconds freeze on iphone 7 (seen at 01:42 from the video). The freezing of the camera is linked to the amount and duration of the calls, more appeals - more it takes to launch camera. The gel may go up to 20 seconds.

I encounter this problem on iphone 7 (ios 10.0.1) as well as on the iphone 6 s (from 8 IOS iOS 10).

I have to very good reason to believe, that all 7-6 s iphones are affected by this bug and it can be fixed by restarting, reset, DFU, replacement of new apple id or by phone: I tried to do all these steps several times with my iphone 6 s and it did not help. This issue can be resolved only by Apple developers.

Please submit this bug to Apple directly under the following link (as it seems that they do not react to our discussion forums): http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html

This thread is designated for iphone 7 and 7 more.

The same camera with the 6s iphone problems are discussed in the next big thread since October 2015: shift camera iphone 6s

The purpose of this thread is to share and spread over the issue, as well as make Apple notice and respond to the concerns of its users in correcting this bug.

I was part of the iPhone 6s camera gal as well original thread. My new 7 256 GB iPhone did the same mentioned in your question/statement. I also reported the bug with the link you provided. This seems to happen only for the 6 s 6 s 7 and more. I have restored my backup on a normal iPhone 6 and this problem did not repeat after over a month of use.

Thank you for taking the time to write this problem!

  • Export iPhone to Youtube - bad quality images

This is my 1st time using first - I edited video footage I shot on my iPhone 6 + and now trying to export it. I exported several times after watching a series of tutorials: I tried YouTube presets, corresponding to the sequence settings, etc. Whenever the quality of the exported video is worse than the source footage.

Several times he had black bands around the video on YouTube. I tried to remedy by the scaling to fill, but this only makes worse the quality.

I want just the video in the same quality of export as the source footage. Export preview looks great, but the actual export does not.

Any suggestions or advice? Thank you!

Your project is a bit of a mess.

    Your video is 1920 x 1080,

This to get a sequence that corresponds to your images
