iPhone 6 battery dies at 60/80

My iPhone 6 (iOs 9.3.2) has lately been dying to almost 60% or 80% (never any what other percentages). I tried all the advice line such as time and Date setting on "automatic", the battery recalibration, restore the phone, firmware restore in DFU restore WITHOUT backup and updating software iOS beta 10 (assuming that the problem is with iOs 9.3.2). Nothing has worked. Took it to the Apple Store and they me just restore again. That did not work. Is it just a battery issue?

Quite like a defective battery. Out-of-warranty replacement is $ 79 from Apple.

How will you measure that? Apple does not battery management API expose in their software development kits, if you use a third-party application, so it is likely inaccurate. If you feel that your battery life is shorted than before, first follow these tips:

  • Envy 17 t-k000 CTO: battery dies medium to fast

As of this writing my Hp Envy 17 t-k000 cto had battery problems.  It's not bad, but my battery dies after only 40 minutes of use even on minor tasks such as browsing the internet.  It is not really a problem for me currently because I always connected it to my office.  I guess its part my fault to get a portable 17IN and expected to autonomy, but if I ever intend to go to College with that it would make it almost impossible.   any help would be appreciated if there is a BIOS/UEFI or the software Tweak I can do or if there is an affordable extended battery pack I can buy easily.  Thank you!

I have had it for over a year now and it has probably just died like 10 times because I always connected it except at night.

    Hello @jet224,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I read your message and understand that the battery does not last very long on your HP Envy 17 laptop t-k000. There are some parameters that can be modified in order to extend the battery life.

HP laptops - test and calibrate the battery (Windows 10)

HP Notebook PC - improve battery performance (Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista)

HP Notebook PC - management Power Options (Windows 10)

I look forward to your reply with the results!

  • Since installing Windows 7 laptop overheating & battery dies quickly!

I changed my Windows Vista computer software to Windows 7. Everything works fine, except that my laptop seems like it is running on overdrive. It's the gets really hot on the bottom even though I have a cooler running under it, I tried to use the power saving mode and even decreased the brightness. The battery dies very quickly as well. This event began as soon as I started using Windows 7, I ran PC tests to check my battery and all is well. I use my laptop to listen to music and surf the web. I don't know what else to do, any help?

You could review down the CPU of the computer usage:

Open Save your Power Options and click Change plan settings.  Then click on change advanced settings.  Processor power management, don't try lowering to 50% just to see if it has an effect.  A good can of compressed air and always using the laptop on a flat surface always help also.

I have heard about a problem with the gateways and freezing / overheating which could be fixed with a BIOS update from their site.  What is your model number?

I have a blackberry 8520, I've had it for about 2 months now.  My blackberry battery gets really hot for the hour, the battery dies.  This happens randomly.  First time it happened to me I was in a movie theater and had the phone on silent. The second time it happened I he was wearing my belt and got home on fort.  I do not keep applications running and usually only use the phone for txts and emails. My fiancee bought his blackberry curve 8520 the same day and it has the same problem.  My blackberry is updated with the latest version of the software.  Anyone else have this same problem?  Any advice on what could be the problem?  Thank you

Even if you do not, there was probably an application running in the background, even left a current Web browser.

Or, your battery could be bad. It happens. If the problem persists, you can redeem it at your local retailer.

  • 10 IOS on iPhone 6s - battery drain issue

    Hi all!

I've updated the IOS official 10 OTA on my iPhone 6 s, here are the initial impressions, I felt very refreshing on IOS10, but one thing (the major) little to care about me, someone at found that battery faster? In the morning around 08:30 it was 89 percent after I did the update, currently it is 56% (89% to 56% directly), I hardly used for mobile on 40mins calls, Whatsapp 20mins and other activities of the internet misc 30 minutes or more, this was not the case with IOS9.3.5 and occasionally the screen on an aggregate used to 4 h 30 min or slightly above I was seriously expecting the better battery life.

    Thank you

    Sunil

  • Watch the battery dies quickly

My watch is now about a year. It can hold a charge for a day and a half. Now its down to 13% after 9 hours. Is there something running which is the cause? I do not remember more than accessing them before or to use it for something other than checking the time and the occasional text message.

    Hello

Battery life varies depending on use and other factors.

During tests, for example, Apple has reached 18 hours of battery life with the next use: 90 time checks, 90 notifications, 45 minutes of usage of the app and a workout of 30 minutes with Apple Watch Bluetooth music playback.

As your watch is known today of battery significantly shorter than before, no significant changes in usage or obvious cause, try the following steps, which have helped to solve the problems of the battery life for some users:

    • Verify that you do not practice race or paused in the integrated training application.
    • If you already have (not necessarily only recently) already used any third party fitness, followed applications such as Strava to Records workouts on your watch, check on your watch to see if there is currently activity paused in the any of these applications. If there is, put an end to this activity of this application on your watch (not on your iPhone).
      • If in doubt, it can help to remove this any application of third party fitness of your watch.
    • Under earlier versions of the software, some users have reported problems with battery life in the framework using profiles and/or Exchange calendars. If you use an Exchange calendar, can help to one or more of the following:
      • Check your Exchange calendar for all items before today.
      • Delete / delete all old messages related to the prompt calendar Inbox (accept and refuse notifications).
      • Create a rule in your email account Outlook moves future all accept and reject responses as they are received, in a separate e-mail folder that will not sync with your iPhone and Apple Watch.
      • Consult your Exchange calendar to find errors.
    • Finally, it can help to remove all third-party applications on your watch and then monitor the performance of the battery after you have added back, one at a time. It is the same regarding complications of watch face.

After trying the above steps, if your watch continues discover much shorter battery life than suggest examples of Apple you should expect, contact Apple support (mail service may be available) or make a Genius Bar reservation in order to have your watch checked, if recommended by Apple (warranty, if it qualifies):
