iPhone 6 + guard passing phone calls

Since last week, my iPhone 6 + guard drop in phone calls. And a few times when I call back it will ring once and then down the call once again.  Should I take my SIM card to clean or?

Hello bhetherington7,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

I see that you are having problems with your iPhone dropping calls. Take a look at the following article to get suggestions to try for that matter. Some steps are not applicable to your particular issue, as turn airplane mode on/off or check the settings for do not disturb. Most of the others are, like updates, removal/reinsert the SIM and communicating with the carrier.

If you can not make or receive calls on your iPhone

Best regards.

  • iPhone 6 each default phone call is pregnant. It is brand new

I got an iphone 6 and for each appeal, it would always go to the speaker. I had a screen problem that could not be fixed so I got a new yesterday on the apple store. It does the same thing. All outgoing and incoming calls goes to the speaker. I looked for a way to change this, but without success. It seems unlikely that a new would have the same problem as the old. I'd like some ideas.

  • iPhone 7 micro cut the phone calls

    I have a 7 32GB iPhone. Im running iOS 10.0.1.

The problem that I am running is that when on a call FaceTime Audio, regularly call FaceTime or a regular phone call, my microphone seems to be cutting out and sounding very scrambled according to several appellants, when a speaker. They say I look fine and clear when not using the speakerphone, but the moment I switch to speaker mode on any type of call, by default for FaceTime, callers are immediately reporting that I'm cut in and out, and when I'm not cut I garbled sound. As soon as I put the call on the ear mode, I look very well again and it isn't a problem.

To diagnose this I tried to have friends use my phone and I hold the phone in different positions away from them and in environments of different intensity. No matter what either the environment, people report that using the speakerphone, the phone cuts and is blurred. I don't have this problem when I was running iOS 10.0.1 on my iPhone 6 before I updated, so I'm assuming that it is a hardware problem with my new iPhone 7.

For the first time poster, so I hope that was enough information and enough I hope to get some clear comments.

    Thanks in advance!

I'm having the same problem only the exact opposite. Callers can hear me well on speaker, but not on phone normal ear mode. I tried with case and without breakage. Question has been lived with more than one caller.

Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

    • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
    • Press and hold the Home button
    • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.

Take a look this Apple Support article: use iTunes to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support.

As a final step, try recovery mode. Turn off your unit, then plug it to your computer with the hold home button. Hold down Home button until you see the logo of iTunes on the screen of your device. After that on your computer, you should see the iTunes window saying that your device needs to be restored to factory settings. Click Restore.

  • phone call starts when I go on google on my iphone 6

    Hello

This problem started recently, probably just after that latest iOS update. I have an iphone 6 s, iOS 9.3.1. When I'm in my car (Audi A4, 2012), bluetooth on and I use my phone to do a Google search, a phone call to my phone will automatically start (!). The call continues unless I hung up manually. What happens here?

How you try to Google search? How do you research? You say that research appealed to phone via Bluetooth from your car to your phone number?

  • I use my iPhone 6 very often to my office for phone calls.  This will help overall battery life to stay connected as I have all these phone calls?

I use my iPhone 6 very often to my office for phone calls.  This is my work phone.

This will help life battery together if I keep the phone plugged in my phone calls?

    Thank you

SUSE, you can use it while connected and in this way when you unplug to get somewhere, you know you will have a fully updated beautiful upgraded battery.

Just don't leave it plugged constantly all the time — weeks or months.  A battery lithium needs periodically some running through it.  But certainly leave it plugged during the day of the company while using it, or even just for long calls will do no harm.

Battery life is determined by the cycles, so if this reduces the rate of your phone through equivalent full charge and discharge cycles it can not hurt self-help (depending on how you use it, it cannot help battery life much either, but it probably won't hurt it).

I understand that you are not able to make or receive phone calls on your iPhone because it becomes unresponsive. Is this the only feature that does not work as expected?

I see that you have already tried to restart your iPhone and the relocation of the SIM card, but the issue continues. To continue troubleshooting, there are a few steps, I recommend you.

  • My phone calls come in the form of text messages and use the tone of the message text and not ringing.

My phone calls on my iPhone 5 c pass as text messages and the sound message is used and not the ringing of a phone call.

Calls can only come in the form of text messages. Go to settings > sounds and make sure you have the right tone selected.

  • remove all logs of phone calls at a time.

How can I delete all calls in my log of phone calls (and made) both and not one at a time?

    Hi there, GWS007.

Welcome to the communities of Apple Support! I see that you are wanting in a more easy way to erase the call logs on your 6s iPhone on iOS 10 one both. I tend to mine accumulate over time, and I'll be happy to tell you how to do it en masse.

When you open your application for phone, tap recent, then at the top right you will see 'change '. Once you touch that, you should see 'Clear' on the left side. Tap on that, and it disappears!

    Have a great day!

  • Siri can not make phone calls

After the passage of an iPhone 7 from an iPhone 6 via iTunes backup everything (well almost) works very well.

However, Siri refuses to launch phone calls: 'sorry, I can't make your phone call. Each component seems to work separately: Contacts can be consulted and have found with the help of Siri, contacts can be called, and the phone is very good as well. I do not use any Bluetooth device, just the phone.

I tried to restart, a soft reset, re - insert the SIM card, restart Siri and through all relevant parameters in iOS10.0.1, Siri in the lock screen as well as after having unlocked the phone with several of the contacts and the types of numbers.

Don't forget: I can put any call I want, but not with Siri.

As I have yet to find advice through Google I hope that here, experts can provide further advice!

    Thanks in advance!

    Best regards, Kay Hidde

Talked to the hotline from Apple Support today. They convinced me to try reset the network settings. However, this does not have the problem.

So I decided to reinstall from backup again (their second and final suggestion): I stored the new pictures that I shot with the phone before restore the device with exactly one that I used when the new machine was delivered two days ago:

If it was the same data as iTunes sent to the same device, it worked!

Interestingly other small issues were fixed as well (for example some photos were missing in camera rolling despite the fact that they were on the phone) and the whole process was not too long, since iTunes stores now sync settings for the lists of reading, books, movies, and photos on this unit (except for the initial setup of the new device two days ago).

In my opinion the iOS in the update interval can be the reason of this problem-free second run: 7A iPhone shipped with iOS 10.0.0 but I updated to 10.0.1 after initial installation.

Thanks for listening and I hope, the description may help someone else in a similar situation.

    Best regards!
