IPhone lost during Transport

During transport, the iPhone, that I bought has been lost. The person that I bought and I want to know the current place of residence (or at least the last known location), but it is impossible for us only. We have the imei, serial number and proof of purchase of the phone.

I would also like to know the e-mail address to which the phone is currently assigned to, so this can help us find the phone, but I think that it is also not possible.

Can anyone who has any ideas please tell me something that might help.

Thank you.

No one here nor Apple itself cannot help you with this. If the phone has find my iPhone activated, is turned on and connected to a cellular data or wifi network, it can be traced in the iCloud account that this be enabled find my iPhone. Otherwise, there is no way to remotely track.

You should report the loss with the sender since they are responsible for packages that are lost in their system.

I don't know how you lost unless he is stuck and won't come not new by typing in a text field. Try a forced reboot. No data is lost during this procedure. Hold on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears on the screen.

    Deneen8500,

When you say that you have "written to you people ', I have to imagine say you you wrote to Apple.   Here, we have no way to help you find a lost phone.   It is a technical body of the user for the user.

And of course, Apple cannot find lost phones.   They provide facilities for you to implement "Find my phone", but if you haven't taken advantage of this I'm afraid can't do anything.   I hope that you have reported to the police, especially if you have coverage with private insurance.

  • IPhone lost 6. the batery was about to die. If the phone does not connect to internet. is there a way to keep track of its location?

IPhone lost 6. batery about to dye, it is not connected to the internet. Im trying to track its location by FIND MY IPHONE, but seems to be offline.

I'll be able to track its location? or y at - it another way to track its location?

No, you won't. There is no other way or the other. The only way to find my iPhone to work is if it has been activated prior to the loss, the device is on and it has an active connection to the internet. If one who does not exist, you cannot follow the device. As you say the battery was almost dead, then he's probably already dead. You will not be able to track the device.

Updated my Iphone 6 and 4th gen ipad to 9.3.2 and lost all emails, is it possible to recover?

Restore the backups you made before the updates. If the accounts were IMAP or Exchange accounts, mail is on the server. Simply remove and reinstall the accounts. If it comes to a POP account and the post has been deleted from the server, they are gone, if you do not have a backup.

  • IPHONE LOST 6 found

I JUST RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM [email protected] SAYING THAT MY LOST IPHONE 6 found at 21:11 on April 10, 2016 AND the last of your iPhone said location will be available for 24 hours, BUT WHEN I CLICK on VIEW LOCATION and login with my icloud account, there is no map or any other info on my lost iphone.

    Any suggestions please?

The message was a scam. If you have signed with your Apple ID credentials you've given thieves the information they need to reset locking activation on your phone and use your account by making fraudulent purchases on it. Change your password NOW before they change for you.

  • items lost during upgrade to Palm Desktop 6.2.2

    Hello

Just bought a Palm Pre, unlocked, a beauty.  Wanted to move the items from my Palm Desktop to the FRONT.  During the upgrade from my old, old Desktop 4.0.4 for Desktop 6.2.2 I lost all contacts, calendar etc events.  The datebook.dat file is there, but since my old Palm Treo broke down entirely (Palm could not repair it) I could not synchronize the installation of the new software.

The question is: How can I move my items the address.dat, dateboook.dat etc. for the new version of office.

Thanks muchly for all the good advice!

    Janko

You cannot use these data files to the point 6.2.

6.2 has a format of different file than previous versions and don't recognize these files.

What I would say, it is to copy your username folder in c-program files-Palm.

Paste this folder on the Windows desktop. With the help of delete Palm desktop 6.2 Control Panel-Add/Remove programs. Re-install Palm desktop that you had previously installed. Pick up the user name folder in the folder on the drive c. open palm desktop palm and see if your data is there.

If this is the case, export your data from backup. Here is a procedure for this.

The best way to protect your data is to export the data in each category of Palm Desktop in a separate folder on your PC.

Create a new folder on your PC somewhere that suits. Name it something like Palm Desktop data. Click on the link below and follow the instructions on this page for the export procedure.

    http://www.Palm.com/cgi-bin/cso_kbURL.cgi?id=28734

Make sure you only select everything for the beach in the export window.

With the data stored in the created folder, make a copy of this file and save it on a USB key, cd - rw or external hard drive.

Whenever you change in Palm Desktop, export the data that has been changed in this file and save again to external media.

With this process you can always import the data in Palm Desktop, whenever you have a problem with the data in Palm Desktop, or if your computer/hard drive/device crash.

After you have your data backed up, install Palm desktop 6.2 and if data do not migrate to 6.2, use the import function in Palm desktop.

For reference purposes, click the following link to the support page for your device on the kb.palm.com Web page.

  • Mac lost during the installation of windows

When installing windows on a MAC, I deleted my partition mac completely and I am now left with windows 7 to my mac book air. Y at - it an option to install mac, I don't mind losing the windows partition

    Hello smarthala,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

I see that you deleted by mistake your Mac partition during the installation of Windows. The partition itself deleted or was it the Mac OS that has been erased, leaving an empty partition?

If the latter, you can reinstall OS X from OS X Recovery. See this article for how that should be done: On OS X Recovery
Otherwise, you can use Internet recovery (Command-Option-R, as opposed to the command-R) to repartition the entire hard drive and install the version of Mac OS X provided on your Mac. Who is finished, you can upgrade to El Capitan via the App Store > bought.

    Best regards.
