iPhone sees mobile, but not vice versa

hope you can help me.

My environment:

-Laptop fresh installed Win7 Enterprise SP1

-Chrome 22

-Adobe Edge inspect Plugin Chrome 1.0.335

-Adobe Edge inspect Application running and logged in

-Iphone4s with iOS 5 (only with data SIM, no 3 G)

-Edge Adope inspect App 1.0.312

-The two same WLAN devices

The iPhone app sees the laptop (after about 5 minutes) but can not connect: 'connection error. Tap to retry.

Needless to say I can type until my fingers bled... message appears again and again.

Chrome Plugin says "Waiting for connection...» ».

Switch is 'On' and it shows the name and ip address of the laptop

Even if I try to login manually via inbound ip or name of the laptop on the app that a connection cannot be established; "Connection failed, please try again."

Perhaps mentionable that try via the name of the message appears after less than a second, via ip after 5 to 10 seconds.

In addition to mobile devices: Samsung S3, HTC sense (also both to the same WLAN)

The two cannot find the laptop and, of course, a connection cannot be established.

Recommendations? Questions? Need more information?

You can check if you have a firewall running on your PC?  If so make sure that it is open for the edge inspect 7682 port?

In addition, is there something in your WLAN configuration which may prevent communication between devices on the network?  For example, if you have a local web server on your Windows 7, can access you it using the native browser on your devices?

  • Website will run on Windows Mobile, but not air iPad

    I am accessing a site of learning of the Red Cross.  When on a Windows machine, I get a page that says "content open in a new window" and a message below says "allow once" or "always allow this Web site.  I answer that question and still very good.  However, when trying to get to my class of learning within the site, when I'm on my Ipad Air, it just seems to hang up.  I see the page 'Content open in a new window' but nothing else and there is no way to continue.  Does anyone know how I can get past this please?

    I tried to update the software in my TP when he failed in the middle of it.  Now all I have is the exclamation point within the triangle.

    To my amazement, when I came here to help, not only my account since 2006 still work, but my TP has been already added to it.  Exceptional!  And I went to downloaded "WebOSQuickInstall - 4.2.3.jar" to reinstall the operating system.  Everything was fine until what I was to the point when the key sequence which should show the big USB symbol on the screen in preparation to connect the TP on the computer.  When I run the file, he always tells me device is not attached, but it is.  It seems to me that the software is not see the TP.

    So close and yet so far.  :/

    Any help on this would be appreciated, I have big plans for this thing!

    How to doctor an HP TouchPad (reflash the ROM)

    USB port available (not a hub or a secondary port).
    Java 1.5 or later version is installed. If you are not sure what version of Java, you have, or even if Java is installed, go to www.java.com and click the Do I have Java? link to install the latest version of Java.

    Connection to the Internet.

    Download webOS Doctor

  • CANNOT write to files in the shared folder of XP on a PC running windows 7 - but good vice versa

    I have a laptop under Windows 7 (SP1) and a desktop running XP (SP3).  I have connected both via a wireless network. While I can see and access shared files/folders from one computer to the other computer, I can only read/write files in the shared folder on the portable computer that is running Windows 7.

    If I try and change a file in the shared folder from the PC under XP on my laptop, I get the message "this file is set to read-only. Try again with a different name "."  I know that the file is NOT checked for read-only. When I change the name of the file I get the error message "\\Desktop\SharedDocs\filename.doc you are not allowed to save in this location. Contact the administrator for approval.  You want to save in the folder my documents instead? "If I save the file to another location on the laptop under Win7 it save then OK.  I can not just save a modified version of the file in the same shared folder from desktop running XP.
    It seems that it must be something to do with permissions and access to the parameters of the desktop running XP but I can not find these. Fairly easy to find in Windows 7.
    Finally, I don't have a login/password set for the connection to the computer to Office XP.  I don't have a user name and password for the laptop Win7 but you have turned off password protected sharing.
    Anyone have a solution to this?

    OK - the problem is now resolved.

    I noticed that the read-only for the shared folder has been checked. When I unchecked it and also checked the box "allow network users to change my files" in the shared folder properties/sharing, I was able to modify and save files in the shared folder on my laptop.
    It's a little weird because I thought I had done this the other day where the results have been less successful.  Strange.

    For some reason any airprint works 100% with my Deskjet 3054. I can print any document as long as there isn't any image in it. If I want to print a photo from my iPhone it just doesn't work. No matter which web page with heavy images will not print or the other.

    The departure of printer, loading paper, think about it, then an error message appears on my iPhone (I guess because it times out) and the only thing I can do with the printer is a cancellation then a restart.

    Any help much appreciated!

    Could you let me know what is the error? Also, after the reboot, that solve the problem? As far as I remember is not a particularly on AirPrint file size so I'm not sure why it would choke with a heavy photo paper.

    Site hosted by Godaddy, there is no other page layouts and looks and works very well that it is tested on iOS/desktop Chrome and FF. Are you able to reproduce the problem somehow? You have recently made any changes to DNS at the level of the office which could be brought to becomnig site temporarily inaccessible for specific users. What is the error they receive to try to access the site via the Office? They tried a different network connection, probably the reason why it worked when accessed through their phones.
