  Has disappeared? Try file-> open the new item, and then select each illustrated catalog until you find the catalog with your photos.

  I'm under o/s10.7.5 and iPhoto 8.1.2 version.  I've selected my photo and chose to print on the file menu.  I select the contact Board on the menu of the icon to the left of my picture. A small picture of my photo appears on the preview.  Layout page or column options had no effect and when I print only one tiny copy of my photo is displayed.  Of course, I'm in the middle of a project to date limit for which I need this feature!

  I have not use iPhoto 8 for a very long time, so do not know, is that it is valid.  With the current iPhoto 9.6.1 duplicate a photo as many times that the copies are required on the printed sheet.

  NOTE: The key is to duplicate the image as many times as you need to get the number of images per page you want.

  This is how works the latest version of iPhoto.  I don't remember how iPhoto 8.1.2 manages multiple copies of a picture on a page.

  Looks like you're looking in the import window that is in the wrong place. In the main iMovie edit screen on the left in the library list, you should see listed iPhoto library. SELECT and in the upper part of the window is a pop-up window where you can choose to display the faces of events, Albums, etc. I assume you are using iMovie 10.x.x.

  Transfer albums is like records - events are converted into albums and stored in a folder called iPHoto events - smart albums move only to the extent of the possible (since the Photos was not the exact same set of features as iPhoto smart albums don't yield - such as those based on events, for example)

  What version of iPhoto do you have?  What has changed since it worked?  What do you mean by renaming a photo? In iPhoto Photos don't have names--they have titles and descriptions.

  This is probably the problem.  Older versions of iPhoto have a bug and cannot empty the trash, if the Recycle Bin is too full.

  Take some items from the trash, until you only have a few hundred items, then try to empty the trash again.

  Your backup is the obvious answer. If this is not possible:

  Download I rPhoto library to manageand use its function of reconstruction. (In early versions of the Library Manager, this is the file-> command Rebuild.) In versions later it is under the menu library.)

  This will create a completely new library. It will then copy (or try) your photos and all associated metadata and versions to this library and as close as possible to what you had in the damaged library fix it. It does this based on the information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but it means that things not shared won't be there, so no slide shows, books or calendars, for example - but it should recover all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places.

  Because this process creates a completely new library and does not change your old, it is non-destructive, and if you are not satisfied with the result, you can simply go back to your old.

  I tried to make my photos to iPad iPhone. The ordinary photo stream was not working. I clicked on iCloud photo library in the iPad settings. Says delete a hundred photos.   During a turn on iCloud photo library on a camera that have been placed on the device via the sync from iTunes are deleted from the device. Original must be always on your computer (if they are not, they would have been removed from the device next time you synchronize with iTunes). And yet, when I save photos, their local copies are removed almost immediately. This means that the media browser (UIImagePickerController) does not display these photos.   I use Windows Live Mail is my Hotmail account, usually I send photos and the recipient may be considered slideshow, which is great. Since then, I have an error message saying: I exceeded the limit of storage on the server. To make the space available to move the messages from the server to your folders on this computer.   You can click right images where they reside, and then click Properties to see their size.

  I know little about Hotmail, but the error message means that you connect to Hotmail through the Web site and remove messages there.
