  Yes moving images will break the links to the catalog. If you want to move or rename, always do it in the LR library and the changes will be automatically updated on your hard drive.

  I would say by dragging the masters to the images folder. Then import these files/sub-sub-sub-folders using import > Add

  Then you can trash all masters and copies used by iPhoto.

  Anyone know how to display the name of the file BELOW each thumbnail in the organizer of 12 items, and NOT just on the right side of the screen? I see the date and the coast under each thumbnail, but not the file name.

  Click on the menu display (see image below) and make sure that the file names is enabled.

  You may need to move the zoom slider slightly to the right to increase the size of the thumbnails if you can not immeduately see all of the information displayed.

  I think that this is governed by your general taskbar setting. Please see the screenshot joint. To get this dialog box, right-click an empty area of the taskbar, and then choose Properties.

  I would say that your nephew gets a real email client. IncrediMail is far from clever for its own good and made terrible emails that work in some email clients, from time to time.

  I have Lightroom CC and I edit on my desk. But is it possible when I (and about or travel) to shoot through and delete the photos I did on a shoot? This way I can work in the workplace. If I present also in LR might I also edit photos using these presets on my Ipad on the road?

  IOS and Android devices can only use the Mobile app LR which have a function of editing but don't like the desktop version of LR. Of course, you can load your pictures on 1 of these devices and shoot through them, delete what you want.

  As I don't use all LR mobile I'm not sure its feature set or if you can use the presets of same as you have on the desktop version.

• my 500 vacation photos are now on the lists section of the control panel-display wallpaper how to make their return to which they belong?

  Downloaded the camera vacation photos and sorted by them by putting each location days in it is a separate file. I also received a disc of NASA just with scenes of wallpaper on it and downloaded it.  These points of view, NASA, to another disc I changed once a week. I keep them in a separate folder named desktop wallpaper photos, in my position of photos. I went to change this view for weeks and not only discovered that all these photos have been in the display list folder / in Control Panel, but also all the pictures in the files of our holiday, which should have been in the image file in my documents. There are also pictures of my family photos files that are in the selection of wallpaper from the 'view' file in the documents.  I will return to my pictures folder and there not a file here for them, which means that it is not a copy of the file, but the actual file. I did not do in the lists of display/control panels. How can I remove or cut pictures that came the wallpaper display lists and put them in the my documents/images files where they should be. Tried to cut and paste functionality, but nothing of this nature appears.

  Navigate to the folder where the photos are and then right-click on the image and click on copy and then open the folder My Documents/photo then right-click and press on paste.  Since you have a lot of picctures you can hold CTRL and left click each photo in this way they need only hit copy once.

  You can do something like this with if statements in a liquid.

  This is the concept:

  You will need to type this info in this field in the metadata Panel.  I assume that you want to use the legend, perhaps Title fields, two fields must be empty for you to enter custom text. If you select all images and enter the text, all the images Gets the same data. So think about what you want to pop over there and if you can do so at the same time, or if you will need to do frame-by-frame.

  Yes, you can save your position edited final and other metadata to the files (or files in the case of the FIRST sidecar) using the metadata command-> save metadata to file or alternatively turning on the option Edit-> settings-> metadata catalog then check automatically write changes to XMP

There is no advantage to go to the text file or the photo file to find this information.   This problem has now been resolved.  I went in my computer > tools > Folder Options > file Type, select the type of file and clicked on advanced then > change and changed back to Windows Picture and Fax Viewer in Windows Media Player.  I had the idea of a response posted on this forum about a different issue, but who pointed me in the right direction.
