• How can I stop opening when not wanted Photos?

  This is not the problem for me. I don't know anyone else. I just want to stop iPhoto to open automatically... ever!

  Here's my problem with this answer. Even if I do for SD cards for all three of my cameras, whenever I have format the SD card in the camera, Apple/iPhoto sees this as a new device despite the same name. There is no faster way to clear an SD card in my camera only to the reformat the SD card.

  You can open it by accessing it in the Applications folder? If so, you may have a corrupt Dock alias. Click and hold the alias and make it about 1 inch away from the docking station, then release. Then drag the application in the Applications folder in the Dock to create a new alias. When you have a new alias, control - click/Options/keep in Dock.

  Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the Add-ons is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Modules > themes).

  • Try to re-create preferences - restore preferences quickly by using a keyboard shortcut: press and hold Alt + Ctrl + Shift (Windows) or Option + command + shift (Mac OS) when you start Photoshop.
