I am trying to sync my ipod with my windows media player and when I connect my ipod windows media play is not read. How can I sync my ipod with windows media player?

    Hello

Your MP3 player should have 2 settings - MSC that should allow the player to be used as a
external drive and PSG that is the parameter to use to sync with WMP11. Remove the MP3
and restart the computer. Change the MP3 in MTP mode - it power off and plug it in.

    I hope this helps.

    Hello

First of all, check that the power and the IDE data cables are connected properly to the hard drive and the motherboard, by deleting and reinstalling them, if this does not resolve the problem, then it is likely the hard drive has failed and needs to be replaced.

  • STOR. Guaranteed E not accessible to Media Player

    Good afternoon

So I had a 320 GB STOR. External hard drive E fixed and everything works fine when I plug it into my desktop computer, with the biometric fingerprint reader is fine.

I have a few movies here which I would like to see in the big LCD TV. To do this, I would use an Asus Media Player which works very well with the other drives.

However, because it is fixed, I began to fear that I would not be able to access it from the media player. And, in fact, is what happened when I plugged it in the media player. Normally, when you plug in a hard drive, the media player allows to browse the files after recognizing the drive. With secure, he is stuck in the part. "New device found" and nothing more happened. I tried to get a fingerprint in ridiculously and unnecessarily drag my finger on the reader, but nothing has happened, as you can imagine. After all, the fingerprint is controlled by special software that comes with the hard drive.

In any case, is it possible for me to access the drive from the media player. It would be nice to keep the biometric security on, but if I have to unplug it, how can I do?

    Thank you

    Hello

I think this Toshiba document should help you sort this out:
    * Deletion of the hidden partition of VCD (Virtual CD) on the STORE. E ALU 2 s and STORE. External hard drives E STEEL S *.
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/TSB1A037O0000R01.htm

Toshiba Store. E ALU 2 s (2.5 "& 3.5") and the STORE. External hard drives of E STEEL S (2.5 "), a partition hidden VCD (Virtual CD) exist, which avoid to use the external HARD disk for example in combination with players from TVs or media.

There is a tool that allows to remove this hidden partition.

  • do not play in Media player 12 playlists

Media Player 12.0 (latest version), Windows 7.  Playlists do not play.  The list of playlists, the icons appear when I click on playlists.  But by clicking on any playlist does nothing.  Click right options do not work.  Under organize, music of the gale, the location of the file is correct.  I use an SSD, so I keep my documents, pictures and music on a hard drive of 1 t (d).  My playlists are found in the Playlists of D:\Music\Music\My.   Interestingly, the REAL path is: D:\Music\My Musique\Mes Playlists.  In manage music, I deleted the link to the playlist and re-done.  He became \music\music, not Musique\Mes music.  in other words, my music has been changed to the music.  Hmm.  However, my 90G of music plays very well D:\Music\Music.

    Thanks Bob! You did :))

  • Wmvcore.dll should use primers, but Windows 8.1 will not allow Windows Media Player.  Workaround solution?

Just as the title suggests, it does not load Primer CC because it requires the wmvcore.dll.  It tells me to install Windows Media Player and Windows media player is not available for this version of windows.

Is there a solution for this?

Thank you all for your time.

    I found the solution.

    I am running windows 8.1 N

And apparently, you will need to download a "feature pack" which has all the goodies inside this Prime Minister needs to operate.

    I * think * I got mine here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=16546

The computer had to reboot so I lost the original page.  But you get the idea.  This fix worked for me!  Good luck to someone else in need.

  • 32L4363DG 32 "- subtitles are not visible in media player

    Hi all

I just bought this 32 "led TV 32L4363DG... .in using media player I can't do to display subtitles.
I try to watch a mp4 file (i.e. yifi torrent) usb, but no subs don't make their appearance...
I did it properly... the srt bears the same name as the video file...
If use to do this and watch mp4 on my external media player without any problem...
But on this TV, no matter what I press the remote control... the submarines will not load :(

    Any help?

    Thank you

Subtitles should be stored in the srt file (srt is perhaps the most fundamental of all formats of subtitles) and this file must be placed in the same directory (folder) as the movie file.
The srt file also supports the UTF-8 format.

But be careful: it s not enough to select UTF - 8 in the editor like notepad ++
You must choose the deep option convert to UTF-8 format_

Why my button "play" do not start my default media player? If I manually start media player and use Play button works.

    Thank you

    Hi cuibusel,

I put t know why this happens but the fact is that these buttons work only with Windows Media Player and not with other players such as WinAMP, etc..

If you have several problems with them, I recommend to install the package of added value of the official website of Toshiba.

  • DVD video disc play is not in Windows Media Player, possible decoder problem

A DVD was made product with a video camera of the dance show to my child. However, the dvd on my hp Pavilion 772n burner will not play it. The operating system is XP and when I try to play the DVD in Windows Media Player, I get a message "...". compatible DVD decoder is not installed on your computer. Interestingly, the DVD disc plays in a DVD VCR connected on television.

What should I do to play the dvd on the pc?

On XP you must install software that can play DVDs. Both Vista and Windows 7 that include by default.

Here is a (quite old) Microsoft article describing what you see: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/setup/expert/bridgman02april15.mspx

On XP, I used to use the card nVidia PureVideo Decoder for playback DVD with Media Player. It seems to still be available, but is chargable:http://www.nvidia.com/object/dvd_decoder.html

You may want to google for a free DVD decoder for XP.

  • Device does not include Windows media player

I am running Windows Media Player 11 on Vista Home Premium (32 bit) v.  WMP can't see my MP3 Sony Reader, even if the device shows that it is connected and I can access it through Windows / my computer.  I tried to make a stop, open WMP, then plug in the unit and the WMP still does not see it.  How to re - add this feature?

    Hello

    1. would either not detected other devices in Windows Media Player?

    Method 1:

We recommend that you check if the sync settings are correct. To do this, follow these steps.

    (a) open Windows Media Player.

    (b) click the arrow below the Sync tab, point to the device, and then click Advanced Options.

    (c) the Properties dialog box for your device is displayed. Tab sync, box start sync when device connects checkbox.

    (d) restart the media player.

The next time that you want sync, connect the device to your computer and click on the Synchronize tab, then click Start Sync.

    Method 2:

Add a device to sync in Windows Media Player.

    (a) start Windows Media Player and connect your portable device into a USB port on your computer. A box of "Windows Media Player ‑‑ Device Setup" appears, showing that he recognized the device and provides an opportunity for you to name your device.

    (b) read how the player will sync your device, which is directly under where you type the name of the device. If storage of the device is more than 4 gigabytes, for example, and your library on Windows Media Player fits on this device, the player chooses automatic.

    (c) selection of automatic syncing means that your device will reflect all your Windows Media Player library and it will do so that whenever it is connected. Click on "Finish".

    (d) in order to synchronize only the part of your library, where the player has chosen automatic, you can choose what will sync when you open Windows Media Player. Click on the portable device in the right pane and drag the items you want to synchronize with this device.

    (e) selection of a manual synchronization indicates that the player has detected that the portable device has no place for your entire library. Click on "Finish". Open Windows Media Player, select the portable device in the right pane and drag the items you want to synchronize with this device.
