iPod Touch 5th generation stuck in recovery mode
I don't see anything on this topic anywhere. However, I "brick" my iPod 5th generation Touch while implementing the update to the 9.2.x the 9.3.1. I held 9.3 as people around me ran into a similar problem with their iPhones, but they were able to recover their phones - just with wiped data.
My experience:
- Received the notice that 9.3.1 was available.
- Plug it to my PC and backed up with iTunes.
- Downloaded the update via iTunes and begun the process of updating.
- Entered my PIN to unlock the device and allow the update.
- Update started a few minutes later, I received a notice that it failed and the unit would need to be restored. (Error code was 3014 in my case).
- The restoration is only an option "restore and update".
No matter what you do, the device fails to restore ever.
The link they send you is useless: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201210
In my case everything was up to date. I restarted the system – several times. Forced on the device reboots. Put it in recovery mode, etc. (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201263)
There is no problem with my hosts (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201442) file. I completely disabled my firewall and AV. I had plugged nothing else than the KB and mouse... I even tried from another computer - nothing.
In fact I never get a real 'Restore' option - always started with restoration, but the next screen has been updated and the restoration.
I saw a post were actually downgrade iTunes to an older version (for a first generation iPod Touch) solved the issue but I have not yet tried.

iPod Touch 5th generation "cannot verify the identity of the server.
My school requires a log-in for which you have to go to in order to access the wifi. So first you log through settings, then you go to safari and search for a random page, and then the window should appear. However whenever I try to do, I still get the same message:
"Safari cannot verify the identity of the server.
Or something like that. Anywho, I tried to change my dates and times. I also tried to reset my network settings. My iPod is able to connect to anything but the school wifi, but all my friends who have iPhones and androids are able to connect and it begins to get really frustating. Please help me because I don't want to go to another 3 years without wifi at school.

I have a digitizer broken on my ipod 5th generation touch, it's the cheapest digitizer with the first delivery I found on amazon:
http://www.Amazon.com/group-vertical%C2%AE-screen-digitizer-replacement/DP/B01E4 6Z8PC.
It is, however, for the iphone 5, not the ipod touch 5th generation.
these parts are compatible?
If this is not the case, can someone point me to the cheapest place to buy a new glass + digitizer for ipod 5th generation? I'm not afraid to do my own replacements and have done so before.
I need not have the first expedition to the France. the cheapest place on the internet, which is reliable and ships of the United States would be perfect.
any help is appreciated!
They are similar but different.

iPod touch 5th generation needs "update."
Hi, I recently replaced my iPod touch 5th generation (32 GB) because my only previous has been damaged. I tried to sync it with my itunes on my laptop (Windows 7), but was greeted with a message saying I can't, because the iPod needs the latest version of itunes.
The problem is that he already has. I updated my iPod iOS 9.3.2 earlier today, and this does not resolve the issue. my iTunes is also updated to the latest version (12.1.2) so there is no latest version updated to.
I tried to turn my iPod and my laptop and turn it on again, and who has not fixed the problem.I really want to get my music, please help.
For the latest version of iOS, you need iTunes 12.3 or later version. This means that for a PC Win 7 or a later version. On a Mac, you need 10.8.5 or later version.

iPod Touch 5th generation will 20% <; 10-minute auto-off battery
When my iPod Touch 5th generation gives me a 20% battery warning, it is not same exact distance - the thing turns off within 10 minutes of use. 100% to 20% takes days and days, but the latter so-called 20% is wildly inaccurate.
I tried to let him stay off for 10 to 12 hours before recharging, hoping that it would be to calibrate the battery, but no luck.
Someone at - it suggestions?
% battery is not accurate on an iPod. If there are sufficient autonomy I would do anything.

It seems that my iPod touch 5th generation drains my battery quickly
I don't use my iPod touch frequently during the day. I do use internet for and a few games, no video, just Board Games. I still frequently find the pod touch low device running every two days. I'm surprised. My iPad mini retains power for a longer period of time, and I use it more frequently. Bigger battery? I do not know. I have been updating my iPod touch over the years to the last generation, and this is the worst experience I had to drain the battery. What is the latest generation of IOS? I do not know. Any comments would be useful. Thank you.
My 4th, 5th and 6th gen touch all had battery short life. As it is even now I charge mine every night.
I think it's more a battery which is part of the question.
I invested in one of these portable Chargers, so that might be an option, in that you can watch. I also have a charger at work I use in the middle of the day.
