IPv4 and IPv6 are not connected. How / can solve this problem?

I have a laptop, Wi - Fi and Windows 7. Tried to install the Service pack update and had trouble completing install. Computer Retored previous date, and now I can't connect to the internet. My network is available, but get the error 'conncetivity' and 'limited access' error. When I pull the IPv4 and IPv6 "not connected read properties." Tried to config IP of the term, but nothing comes. I guess that no IP address. Not really sure what to do from here. In addition, something happened to all my previous dates "restore." Only available date is when I tried to install the Service pack.
